  1. Very nice! Similarities to the Ninjago Movie dragon are there, but yours is quite distinct and has its own personality. Great choice of colours and some really neat detailing too. I can almost hear it clank and hiss around!
  2. I hope so! Welcome to Eurobricks btw
  3. Looks very good. Excellent use of pieces for creating colours and shapes, like that star wars tile at the rear. Perfect fit!
  4. On the first couple of pictures I wondered what you were hiding inside, then I scrolled down and wow! This is really impressive. Size of MOCs itself isn't really relevant to me, but when the builder is also creating really beautiful scenes as you do - great! Beautiful, scenic MOC and that last picture really makes me grin!
  5. I haven't watched the film, but the car looks really sweet. Excellent shaping! I can definitely see this converted for Minifig-use.
  6. I absolutely agree. A perfect little sofa
  7. Funny you say that! I'm doing a similar thing with my worldbuilding as well, in a megalomaniac attempt to cram all of the lego themes I own sets of into one universe. Realistic goals! Is there a site somewhere I can read about your lego star wars? You really got my attention now.
  8. Lego blockiness works so well with cars from the 70s and 80s. I especially like the race car. Just spot on.
  9. A proper, epic recreation of Helms Deep. Colours, detailing and layout work superbly well together. I also like your camera angles that puts the viewer right into the action. Very cool.
  10. I wasn't excited by Disney taking it over and their decision to declare the expanded universe non-canon. There were some really good ideas going on there (which they eventually put a couple back in of course ) and JJ Abrams... ugh. Not impressed by Lost, Cloverfield or his 2nd Star Trek film and then he makes it a retelling of E IV - doh!
  11. Great to see some (non-confidential!) pictures. Your colleagues are surely happy. If not for the train itself, then for the constant sweets supply. Charming idea!
  12. Hi there Yorel! Welcome to Eurobricks. I completely agree on Star Wars: first the fleshies, then Disney taking over - meh! Anyway, see you around!
  13. Looks good! I like that you kept the strong points of the original, like the roof and facade and went from there. Also a fun idea to include a pond with (kind of flying^^) fishes.

Excellent pun and lovely builds. The cars have really character with their front construction!
  15. Impressive ship! I just see this thread now and it seems I really missed something. Very cool, 70s inspired design. Very industrial and blocky, with a lot structural details - just as it should be!
  16. Beautiful! Full of whimsical details and happy inhabitants. I like the mix of old and new grey pieces. They definitely add to the structure and the lived-in feel of it. Great build!
  17. This is so lovely. I've seen it on brothers brick before. It just ticks all the boxes: beautiful detailing, colour composition and layout. Brilliant MOC!
  18. Indeed! And things like the UCS sets just scream to be picked up and swooshed around by kids barely bigger than them too
  19. Im wondered a bit about the unusual colours for the police car. That explains them! And omg... This flower truck is just so cute... thats almost unfair!
  20. Hello and welcome! My parents were quite the same. And they never got their head around it when I started getting back into Lego again some years ago. Anyway, I think most here eventually had their "dark age" when they got out of Lego for a while, and eventually came back in later years. I think you are never too old for it. Sometimes life demands you to direct your attention to other things, but I know plenty of people who are in their 30s and 40s who get some Lego for christmas this year as well. As always, it comes down to doing things in moderation. Nothing should be done excessively, and its better than starting to smoke or drink for sure! P.S. Just ensure that they keep your Lego collection, if you ever stop playing with it. Nothing is worse than coming back after years and finding out its all gone!
  21. This is really awesome! So simple miniatures, but they look very convincing - and there is even a monorail! A brilliant and super cute scene.
  22. Now that you mention it - yeah, indeed!
  23. No matter where exactly it belongs to, it looks really great. Interesting characters and cool build. It reminds me a bit on the dragon altars in Skyrim.
  24. Hello sancoli! Welcome to Eurobricks! I would consider getting simply a bunch of unsorted Lego from ebay or flea markets. You can't predict what you are getting, but it might provide a good challenge for creative building
  25. Another set of lovely cars. But one is clearly stealing the show here: Christine! That one made me really smile. Arnie looks genuinely happy in her. Great model!
