This is really cool. It looks like some elaborate UCS or ideas set. Very well designed with some great ideas, like the broken-up fuselage, which adds some healthy steampunk madness. The minifigs add quite some personality to the ship as well. Just the doors for the rudders don't really work for me. It can't help it, but they still look like doors to me.

Hello Ell! Welcome to Eurobricks!

The picture from the outside didn't really prepare me for what's going on inside. Actually I was expecting just a facade of a building! Anyway. Very lush and sizeable build with some really impressive detailing (the wooden panels, for example. Great thinking). Still I would consider poshing up the exterior a little too. Maybe some flags, crests, or more differently coloured bricks to emphasise the texture of the stones. All in all - a really cool build though!

Looks good! A weird and skillfull mix of relaxed holiday happiness and a creepy edge with a lot interesting ideas. The boat shelf, for example, is really awesome, as are the tiki idols outside. Very simple, yet so effective

The Greatest Pirate Set of all times! THANKS FOR PLAYING
Littleworlds replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Pirates
Pirates was for me personally the moment, when Lego really took off back in '89 (AD^^). So many new pieces, Minifig accessories, prints, sails made from cloth - it really catapulted things to a new level like probably no new theme before or after. I have so fond memories on it. Lego Pirates was the coolest thing on earth at that time! -
Nice to see the game returning! I guess user-participation will eventually pick up as it progresses. I'm also looking forward for more polls in that direction. Maybe theme vs theme?

These are really well-made dragons. I especially like the black one. Proud like a steed amongst puny humans. Very nice! The red one is also an excellent build. Just every proportion on it is right and makes it looks like a proper, classical dragon. Excellent work! The skeletal one is maybe the most elaborated of them all and has some really cool surface textures going on, but somehow I just like the fleshy ones more. Maybe its because of that rather weak skeletal dragon in Skyrim, who knows

This looks really good. Especially the surface structure of the star destroyer is really brilliant. The mini falcon is a bit too smooth with that dish for the hull. I think it really needs studs and 1x1 tiles to create the rustbucket-look it has.

Boys wanting to Play with Their Toys

Ha! I just saw what you did! Now that's cool -
The tower looks excellent. So gloomy and majestic, and very organically peeling itself out of the rocks. Its perfectly catching the image from the films. On top of that, the lava surrounding gives an excellent effect. Really enhances it. Now of course I'm curious how it looks like in darkened room!

Lovely ship. An overpowered rustbucket that is just perfect for Star Wars. Quite unique, distinctive design. Especially the engines are amazing.
-
Just hilarious! It reminds me on a mod I did last year. It seems the emperor's throne room is made for that sort of thing

Looks very good. Welcoming and friendly on the outside (and very authentic) and the interior is just perfect. Very spot on. I especially like the shelf with travel brochures - such a simple and effective solution!

Excellent to see a Delorean without ugly stepped front. Its so simple, yet catches the look of the car perfectly. i would make the front 1 stud shorter though. I think it is a bit too elongated there.

A really cool and nicely surreal idea, visualizing their daydreams into their reality - and very well executed too. But... in reference to the thread-title: not only boys do -
[MOC] XIX Century Rey's Speeder
Littleworlds replied to SERVATOR's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
This looks really great! I love the asymmetric design. Excellent shaping, excellent detailing. So steampunk! -
Good idea with the quiz-questions. I'm also thinking of capchas, and the blocking of URLs in the title (as proposed by Vaderfan a while ago - and maybe inside the first couple of posts too). I don't know how good the security-systems of the site are. Maybe what we see is just a tiny fraction of what has been attempted to, but it is getting more and might upset regular readers at some point, who don't want to read about male enhancement all the time.

Welcome to Eurobricks! There are certainly worse addctions than being into danish abs bricks. See you around! -
The amount of spam posts recently is getting quite annoying. I propose a certain waiting time until new accounts can post a new thread outside of the Introduction-section, or something in that way. These posts always follow the same pattern and I can't see why such a thing can't be prevented.

Your build look really good. I can't say much about Game of Thrones, but the boat and the Mario Cart ones are really cute. I would do higher resolution pictures though. Where to put them? I think GoT and Mario fit in the Special themes-category, since they are not really related to any existing theme or license and the River Cruise into Lego Town, since it is contemporary and town/city related.

That looks really good! Nice level of detailing and selection of colours and pieces to create typical urban textures and feel. Also bonus points for the untypical subject. All in all: works great!

Hello Davide! Welcome to Eurobricks! Seems like you are all set already for MOCing @Flickr: usually pictures of MOCs are posted in the subforum for the themes, with the prefix [MOC] in the thread-title. Makes it instantly recognizable
