  1. Coming back to the Shuri's Sunbird , those quarter round/sloped bricks that surround those dishes could be interesting as craters, especially if they get made in other colors as well.
  2. Nice scale comparison. I just built the main model, there's so much potential in the parts beyond just spaceships, with the amount of technic involved, and things like big round wheels etc. A big wheeled rocket launcher or mobile communication base (with the computer screens) is definately possible in some wacky ways of multi directional building with technic and plates.
  3. Well, looks like those end dates of 31 december 2022 (or likely before when sold out) might be correct then for many 2022 City sets on brickset. So far that includes school, lifeguard station , picnic in the park, supermarket, farmer van, and chicken coop, stunt plane, touring stunt bike , 4+ fire helicopter. Source https://brickset.com/sets/year-2022/theme-City sort by retirement date. Most 2021 sets as well, exception seem to be Tractor, Camper Van , and Road Plates And there are still some remaining 2020 sets, also retiring : Ice Cream truck (not the 2022 chase one), Helicopter Chase (magnet helicopter), Passenger Airplane, Ocean Exploration Base (great set with a surprisingly long run) Overall that means a LOT of sets are going away at the same time, so there's a lot of room for new things.
  4. Yeah that's one advantage of a single color for the walls I suppose, you get a lot of it at once. In this case I quite like the focus on just mainly light grey, with contrast for the rocks and windows and a small decoration below the tops of towers.
  5. GWP showed on the site as "Free item" with a price before this, but were never actually sold. Forest Hideout is listed at €25 . Previous GWP include : 40529 Children's Amusement park at €15 40533 USS Cosmic Cardboard Adventures at €20 40487 Sailboat Adventures at €25
  6. Looking forward what people come up with for alternate builds for this in terms of the more unusual, exotic type of builds, beyond the scope of more 918/924 shaped models
  7. Also with the Lego Lion Knights having multiple references to Richard the Lionheart / Crusaders, the England lion applies as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_arms_of_England Even the colors match with the LEGO crusader/lionknight shields and the recent larger BAM shield having 4 corners with red/blue.
  8. I find rebrickable database more reliable compared to brickset in terms of piece inventory per set, and piece variants. Brickset inventory isn't as accurate/complete, and Rebrickable handles part variants and spare / extra / missing / assembled pieces better. But both sites can import in both directions.
  9. The only official message i found was this , from when they announced merging PAB and B&P. Additionally, we’ll improve the shipping time in the US and Canada by implementing a new fulfilment area in our US warehouse. This will reduce shipping time for our top 1,600 elements from 13-18 working days to up to 5 working days. There will likely be some shipping delays for a short time after we launch this experience. This was announced long before the new factory was announced.
  10. New pictures for 76211: Shuri's Sunbird shows indeed a trans-purple cockpit (decoration is a sticker), and it also comes with 6 trans-purple sliding garage door pieces. Those 6 wide radar dishes look some frosted version of trans light blue. And the Black and Grey torso/leg combo have a very sci-fi look to it as well
  11. I really hope that foal is a sign for more Horse-themed set in City maybe next year, since the last horse trailer had horse jumping bars, and City has been going a bit more Town like in terms of sets like schools and stores, a horse-jumping location doesn't sound all that weird anymore. Long before Paradisa, there was 6379: Riding Stable
  12. Tree looks like the GWP from 2019, but with candles and hearts instead of gems and no micro train, also taller, not bad.
  13. Ordered, site queue was very short, and no problem exchanging VIP point code and GWP in basket this time around. Original 928 set was very special to me , but it's nice LEGO provided the extra instructions for the smaller ship builds already.
  14. It's not LEGO's mistake here, I think sets in Europe always release based on UK timezone. GWP's still look like they are based on local timezone, at least in this case where 40529: Children's Amusement Park was not sold out before the end of the promo. But as far as I know European LEGO.com uses a shared system as far as releases, discounts and availability go.
  15. I think the issue LEGO has with printing logos/brands on minifigs is because it directly traces back to LEGO's product (LEGO calls it their Minifigure Trademark specificly) ,whereas something like a shirt, or pen or umbrella or whatever generic object with a logo/company name on it isn't traceable back as easily to the factory/single company and there can be dozens if not hundreds of different manufacturers, even unnamed ones. LEGO doesn not have the solo patent on bricks but they are trying to defend their rights on minifigs as long as they can. As the original posts says, they'll still allow custom prints, even outside of the Minifigure Factory, it's just set within boundaries.
  16. you have to remove the image from the post itself as well I see at least 2 images uploaded to Eurobricks.com still in your post. Of course, if it's really bugged, Im just trying to help based on what I did to remove an attachment from my account yesterday. (my attachment storage went from 9% to 0% used)
  17. Go to the post with the attachement and click the trashcan icon on the picture at the bottom when editing, I just deleted a picture that was accidently an attachment that way.
  18. I just finished building it, and some of the techniques were surprising, didn't look up parts/instructions beforehand. Quite a few of those rounded plates and the branches are quite different using those handlebars and horns to split/angle them, and the 1x2 palisade bricks make it look partly made out of black logs Love the smaller scale of that cottage.
  19. Today I had 1 extra 2x2 slope in a set, while a 1x2 brick with clip was missing. In 2018, it was a 2x2 corner brick replaced by a 1x6 plate that wasn't even part of the set. In both cases the weight diference was less then 0.2 gram between parts. (bricklink weight)
  20. Built 71771: The Crystal King Temple today . It had one missing brick with clip but it had one extra 2x2 slope so there was probably a mistake somewhere, but reported it at the missing piece site. The only other time I had a missing piece a couple years ago, there was an extra piece as well, and a replacement part was sent.
  21. I can't preorder this set in Europe, but if I try pre-order something like the Avatar Tree (which would ship october 1st), the current GWP (40529: Children's Amusement Park until July 31st) does get added to order.
  22. https://brickset.com/sets/40515-1/Pirates-and-Treasure-VIP-Add-On-Pack has parts list 101 parts. I think the bricks and plates are just tossed in so you can make some very basic shipwreck wood scenery or something, but it's mainly an Add-on pack as the name suggests.
  23. Recently built the 2021 Car Transporter truck. Quite impressed with the size (top deck is 8x32 which is quite big) and how it easily fits 6+ wide cars. The car included fits well with the other muscle car from 2022 police/fire chase. While City does make a lot of transport trucks, they do vary a lot in purpose, some of them just might be a bit too specialized for just the cargo they get with their one set, others have more generic flatbeds which is nice.
  24. My biggest sets were the 1993 Dragon Wagon, and 1995 Royal Drawbridge (which has a black/dragon knight on a horse), combined with the little wizard cart, skeleton surprise, and royal king, that was my main Castle collection, but I built a lot on the raised baseplate from the 1994 Islanders enchanted island + corner panels with vines, as well using the white wall panels from 2x 1989 sabre island pirate sets. Also had a few older figures from the 70s Knight's Procession and the crusader/lion knight boat set. Also had 2 small fright knight sets, one with the dragon and one was some tiny boxed set with a crystal ball and a batlord. My biggest issue back then with pieces, were clips breaking off both green and black Dragons or saddles from just playing, but I improvised the wings on the back of dragons with added clips instead. I still have most of those figures and builds, just not 100% complete, as over time some shield handles and old swords broke, as well as clips I mentioned, rebuilt most of those around 2015.
