Excellent build! Very realistic and accurate. -
As stated, yes, I believe it does come with four tires. Good deal!

A great review Jim, I like how you showed the parts for each portion of the build. Also I agree with Mortesv, as a UCS set, playability isn't important, accuracy is. And as a Star Wars geek, I would absolutely love to see a review from that side of things. Oh, and could you possibly add an underside photo?

A small jeep
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Attika's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well, that's what I like to see! What rims are you using, and did you have to drill them to make the axle fit? -

Pretty nice, good performance, but that ground clearance isn't great for offroading. IMO, live axles only for Jeeps. -
Try BrickLink for the parts. Angled Connector is what you want. Very cheap.
-
Excellent model! The speed is just incredible! How did you connect the four motors to the drivetrain?
-
Excellent truck, the functions are great. I really like the outriggers. How are they anchored securely?
-
Here is a small live axle, about the required size. Topic.

Cat. A: 4 - 7 - 10 Cat. B: 4 - 3 - 6 Cat. C: 8 - 10 - 6 Cat. D: 9 - 10 - 5 Good luck to all contestants! Thanks @Bob De Quatre for putting on this contest! -
I remember seeing a few of the WIP photos... Wonderful finished product! Great functionality, and the livery is beautiful. An empty parking lot is a good place to film large creations.
-
Absolutely massive! The livery is excellent, and the detailing is great. Reasonable speed as well. Do you use S-Brick?
-
Cool and detailed model, but I think the wheels need to be moved out one, or even two studs, so the tires extend outside the bodywork, as they would on the real thing.

This is nice 6x6 model. I really like the rear axles, the multilink suspension is excellent. Performance is pretty good, overall, a great model with great presentation.

This is an excellent build! The frozen river is great, and those graves look really good. -
I like this bot. The self-righting mechanism is great, and I like that the spinner that covers all sides of the bot.

For a guy who hates cheese slopes, you sure used a TON of them! A most excellent build, gorgeous architecture... And the entire thing is dark red.

[TC 11] Razor II
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Burko-uk's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The bot looks good, but it could be improved by using XL-motors for the drive, especially with the load you have. Also, as cool as the arm is, it needs to drop fast and hard to hit another bot.
