  1. Very cool MOD, I like the flexibility of the axles and the chassis, which allows a ton of travel. Good work! And I don't believe you have other colors.
  2. Wow, thanks Jim! 42070: Ehhhh, not that great. But from the photo in the bottom left corner, it ALMOST looks like it has 4 wheel steering. But it is not worth the price, IMO... 42069: It's a lot like the Arctic Explorer set, but might be worth building. 42051: Looks just like set 7239, my first City set from when I was getting started with Lego many years ago... Maybe worth getting, for old time's sake.
  3. Thanks, Igor! I was already starting another axle with something like this, but there is so little space to do so... I'll try to finish it and get some photos up tonight.
  4. Wow! This is a beautiful tractor! It almost makes the Claas tires appear small. The green-with-yellow color scheme looks amazing, especially with the red seeder.
  5. Update time! I have fixed the issues with the steering, both of flexing and of slack (for the most part...). If any of you geniuses out there want to add something about eliminating slack, it would be greatly appreciated. I have added Unimog tires, instead of the 81mm tires. I must say, I think this looks a lot better. And they don't hit anything when steered! WIP MT side WIP MT angle WIP MT front The white rubber bands were added to help control some of the slack, which works, but only to a certain extent. Also, I have the LDD file for the chassis here. Please feel free to give any advice, comments, or criticism you want. Thanks for looking! - Leonardo da Bricki
  6. Very nice build! I like the folding rotors and the fact that they drive the functions is cool.
  7. I don't know about that... I don't want to make it bigger. With a truck body, it should look fine. With Claas tires... Then a bigger chassis (and body) would be needed.
  8. Beautiful build! The addition of all the tan and gray pieces to mimic damage is great, it looks a lot like a Rebellion ship now. How sturdy are those engines?
  9. Wow! The rendering is impressive! What did you use for it? The model is excellent, lots of great detailing all around it.
  10. Only a little bit. Maybe if you used black instead of light bley connectors it would look better, as the eye would then be drawn to the bright green instead.
  11. Yeah, I'll try it with Unimog tires today. Hopefully they will fit. Photos and LDD coming later tonight!
  12. I'll have an update tomorrow, I need to finish fixing an issue with the axle bending out of shape when it crashes into something and add the change to an LDD file before I post that. @I_Igor Thanks, it is pretty well balanced, hasn't tipped over yet! No body yet, I was planning on some sort of truck-style body, maybe similar to a 2017 Ford Raptor. And maybe some sort of supercar body just for kicks. Maybe something like the BMW Z5 Concept. It was first shown in Mission Impossible 4, and I thought it looked awesome. However, I cannot build it full scale, I don't have the parts. BMW Z5 Concept
  13. Looking really good! The front lights are cool and the spoiler looks great. How are you planning to do the overhead air scoop?
  14. Beautiful wrecker! The stickers are great, functions sound good. Any chance of a video? And I love the Tazmanian Devil on the hood.
  15. Since he's to humble to mention them, any of Paul Boratko's cars (link) is an awesome, mind-blowing build. Or if you are interested in more than supercars, anything built by Madoca is great. The best place to buy parts is, without doubt, BrickLink. Another place for sets/parts is ebay but be cautious, as you might end up with fake, Chinese rip-off Lego.
  16. Looks great, very useful technique. Thanks for sharing! And I think using GBC balls might be better, to find a compromise with stability.
  17. My bad man, meant to say it is FAST, I'll edit my post...
  18. This is a great build! Love the wall and landscaping, lots of interesting techniques used to make a remarkable build. And the duck guy is hilarious!
  19. Just paid USD $83 for a NSIB Claas Xerion on ebay. Got free priority shipping with it, set came 2 days later. @LvdH HOW?! I haven't found the wheel hubs for less than USD $15 apiece! The shocks are around $10-15 dollars apiece! You got one heck of a deal!
  20. Fast and fun! I like it a lot, the bright green looks great on this model.
  21. I agree with @allanp that there should be a purist category, as well as an "anything goes" category. These could then be further divided into classes by motors, as has been suggested. I think this is a great idea, I'd love to participate.
  22. Another great model! I have wondered about making tracks like this and experimenting with them, but now I know what I should and should not do. Many thanks, Sariel!
  23. Today I present to you my latest build: a motorized monster truck, still unfinished. Now Finished! Background: It was started last weekend after reading Sariel's book, "Incredible Lego Technic," which featured Crowkiller's monster truck MOC. I looked it up on his website where he had a photo of the chassis and the words "This model could easily be modified to be motorized and driven..." Now you all know what happens next... The Original: Crowkiller's excellent model is a manual 4x4x4 monster truck, with 5 link live axle suspension with diffs, a central differential, all-wheel HoG steering, a fake V8 connected to the drivetrain, and a detachable, and therefore, interchangeable, body. The Motorized Truck: The chassis length was increased by two studs in order to accommodate the two L-motors used for driving. The suspension geometry remains the same, though I will probably have to use the hard shocks... A Servo motor was added to control steering, as well as a standard AA battery box and a V2 receiver. I wanted to keep the central differential, but it would have required the body to be too wide. I also tried to incorporate the V8 engine, but the Servo motor and the steering shaft restrict the placement of gears to connect the fake V8 currently. What Is Planned: 1. A body (or two, or three, or four). 2. Reinforcement of the steering. At the moment, if I crash into anything at speed, (which happens frequently ) the front portion of the axle will bend to the side where the impact occurred. Which is not good. 3. Changing to the hard shocks, as the additional weight is already causing the suspension to depress most of the way... What Is Finished: See below what has been done. Also, LDD file instructions are available here. Photos: Wip MT side Wip MT front Wip MT under The Model Is Now Finished! Free Instructions Are Now Available! Click Here! More photos and information is on Page 2! Monster Truck Thanks for looking, feel free to give your honest opinion (anything from "I love it!" to "Why the &%#@ are you copying other people's work?!" is acceptable ) and any advice you want to. - Leonardo da Bricki
  24. Working now, just had fix a problem with my internet... I like the color scheme, very bright. The suspension is great, I love the steering system.
  25. Looks cool, but only the LDD pic is showing, the others are blank.
