WIP Tesla S 100P
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Zerobricks's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Sounds very interesting, I like Tesla. What is the gear ratio for the RC motors? Or is it directly driven? -
Well, another excellent model of life-size dimensions... Simply amazing! Is the bucket 3D-printed? It looks great.

Try using half beams to make it narrow. Not easily. If you used another chain to drive it directly, that is the best way. Differential is used to split the drivetrain and allow one side to drive at a lesser speed, specifically when turning. So, it is not the best option to use. Check the wide selection of Bionicle parts for some blades to use. I cannot think of a specific part at the moment. Use the white clutch gear to make the extension easier. That is all I have at the moment, hope this helps.

Finally! A Porsche worthy of buying! Great job, the performance is impressive for the size and weight of this model. Though I must agree with JJ2, slightly lowered bodywork might look better.

Bridge to the Market - AoM: Store Phase I
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Slegengr's topic in Guilds of Historica
Beautiful scene! The trees are excellent, and the bridge is nice, though some light bley tiles or foliage to break up the dark gray block might be nice. -
Wow! I can't believe how you are able to top each successive car you build... Just incredible! The signature curve around the door and the headlights are captured beautifully.

@Meatman I am not stupid, and know there are many differences between the two builders and their styles. I simply mean that the level they are building at, way beyond mine, is similar.

This is really awesome! The functions are excellent, and the BMW livery is cool. Is there any way to round out, or smooth the shape of the black boxy areas on each side? It just doesn't look nice from the rear quarter... And maybe add a black flex axle over the front wheels, just to contrast the blue and round out the bodywork above the wheel.

Purism
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Erik Leppen's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I am almost completely purist, the only non-Lego item I have allowed myself is a set of 3rd party tires, simply because Lego's tires, while nice, just do not have enough tread for rock-crawling. Other than that one offense, I am purist ALL THE WAY!- 179 replies

[MOC] 1 metre Imperial Class II Star Destroyer - Avenger
Leonardo da Bricki replied to mortesv's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Mind-blowing! Incredible work, love that you also included the Nebulon-B, Blockade Runner, and transports. Only complaint: there should only be one Millennium Falcon.- 86 replies

Only recently a Technic fan, I missed a ton of sets... I wish I could get a Unimog, or 9398 or 41999 MISB. And 8475. A lot more parts available from PAB, and when one is out of stock, faster restocking of said part. Not buying a 9398 when it was on clearance for $75.

Excellent model, paave! I like the inclusion of the disk brakes, even if you can't see them. A must build model!
