Very nice vignette, the use of height to expand the battle is great, impressive for just an 8x8 base.

[Brains] Cat. B: A Night Without Fear
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Leonardo da Bricki's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Yes it is. The title says so. It does follow the guidelines (I hope) which are "B: The Shelters - Create a scene no bigger than 24x24 studs, where the Survivors feel safe enough to call it their home." If I need to, I can withdraw my entry and rework it to fit the contest. What is wrong with it? -

Thank you! It was fun to build. -
Great idea, I like the tools in use by both rebels and Imperials. But an Ewok is a must.

I'm a newbie for GoH, but my sig-fig can used against the Spire. IMG_0151 Legolas torso and arms, C3PO hands, head and legs from Naboo guard. Blue hood and cape is a must, preferably armed with a spear. Intro here.

[MOC] SHIP AT-43 ...and a sad story
Leonardo da Bricki replied to nunofilipe72's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
My condolences for your loss. This SHIP is great, I really like the use of those Exo-Force turbines. -
Monstrous! Excellent work, Lucio, the improvements (aesthetic and otherwise) from the last truck are great, and the crane arm is terrific! However, I do agree with Zblj that the shaking of the crane arm should be fixed. Perhaps adding roller wheels around the edge for support would help.

Journal entry #472: "It is the best day of my life! I was found by another group of Survivors, who offered me a place to live. Having lived alone in my truck for the last three years, this was unbelievable. As ashamed as I am to admit it, I cried from sheer happiness. I had given up on living when my truck broke down and I couldn't fix it again... Anyway, these people are wonderful, and we have been able to share our experiences and knowledge with each other, which has been both entertaining and helpful. Right now, I am alone in The Bunker, as they call it, while they headed out on a recon and resupply mission. The amount of trust they have in me is just incredible..." Bunker 1 Bunker 4 Well, this is my first of this post-apocalyptic style of building, I took some ideas from some of my space base MOCs for the door and ventilation duct. I was also experimenting with SNOT rockwork, so feel free to comment and/or critique anything I have done. (I am the first contestant! Woohoo! ) To the judges: the base is 16x16 studs, with about 1-1.5 studs overhang from the shrub on the front. If anything needs to change, leave a comment below. The weapons used in this MOC are available on the BrickArms website. And here is a bonus photo, for more, check out my Flickr. Thanks for looking! - Leonardo da Bricki

@matoli Here is your answer. Good luck, and have fun! -
Excellent design! It looks great, and your parts usage is great. I really like the front canard design.

Very nice battle scene, I really like the space battle part, the microscale fighters are great!

The irregular base is great, and I love those trees! The flowers are a nice addition, they look good with the little stream.

[MOCs] Speeder Bikes for LSB contest
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Bob De Quatre's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I like the story you added as background to the bikes. Excellent work, they look great. -
Cool! Those engines are awesome, and the curves are excellent.

The landscape is great, love the shrub. However, the handle bricks on the edges of the base don't look real good, just leave the sides smooth.

Yes, sorry, I should have specified. Thanks for the clarification. -

@VaderFan2187 The reason is that you can use any color you wanted with any part, and could make things that couldn't really exist in real life. Just my reasoning here, Bob, feel free to clarify with your reasons, as you are the boss man in this contest. -

Ok, @Bob De Quatre if you build figs, can you make a setting for them to be in? Like a base and background wall for the Survivors, or a field for the Undead? -

Cool build, I really like the different window designs and your irregular base. -
Well done, this is a great show of potential for BuWizz, I'll have to look more into getting one. Bodywork is excellent for this scale, performance is awesome! LDD please.

[Mid-River] Northern Clan Homestead
Leonardo da Bricki replied to Legofin2012's topic in Guilds of Historica
Very nice build, I feel like the amount of snow on the roof seems disproportionate to that on the ground, and perhaps adding a few tiles to the roof might look better. Overall, this is an excellent build, looking forward to the others!
