Marvel Superheroes 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
(I'm sorry for the lack of a real comment, but I genuinely chuckled at that) -
If they do Sagrada Familia, it would have to take 140+ years to build, to be accurate. Construction on it started in 1881 and STILL isn't done!

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

Technically, it is minifig scale... just for baby minifigs. You could consider it playground equipment. -
Best LEGO Pirate theme of all time? A look at the 4 Juniors Pirates!
Murdoch17 replied to PxChris's topic in LEGO Pirates
@PxChris You have to get @Jim to delete the photos at the bottom. They (along with all the other photos in the thread) apparently are uploaded directly to EB instead of being hosted elsewhere as EB says to, and as such are undeletable. It's a known bug and only EB Admins can do it. Anyway, I had the ship and shipwreck sets at least. (I know I have all the figs) I still use the two map halves for my Adventurers, and I am planning on putting them and a bunch of other LEGO easter eggs in my own history museum MOC at some point. -
Wow. It's only February and we're getting info on sets for Christmas-time? What year is this again - 2011-ish?

For those arguing Lego has never done religion... set 1309 from 1957 / 309 from 1958 were a Church! So this is nothing new.

How is Notre Dame 'modern"? It's been 860 years since construction started! I understand it's being rebuilt after the fire, but still...

These are extremely awesome MOC's! Side note: I have a mad scientist mini-fig who might have (slightly unscrupulous, possibly illegal, and certainly dangerous) uses for these designs. I've been meaning to rework his lab, and you got my creative juices flowing again. Thank you @Ptchnk!

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

That's a new trans-yellow windscreen! The old one from SPIII back in 2010 was slightly smaller. -
It's not often we see White Pass and Yukon MOCs around Train Tech! I really like the color scheme (it actually looks better than the prototype's colors!) and I love the original mustache look - it's a shame the blue parts aren't available to you to make it real!

Modular 1973 Ford XB Falcon GT 351 Hardtop (Yeah, Mad Max)

You did a fantastic job with the 'last of V8 Interceptors'! Isn't it amazing how his car gets wrecked in every film, but then magically appears in the next one? It must be made of LEGO! -
Agreed with Holodoc. @Heddge, those are not Lego.

Thanks! The tender is 7 wide, trust me. I also don't have any more pictures, sorry @DAN42BR.

For it's entire production run of fifteen million vehicles, made from 1908 to 1927, the Ford Model T came in any color you wanted... as long as it was black! These two Model T MOC's were inspired by a MOC by Calin over on Flickr. Each car seats one figure. Here we see two brand-new 1923 hardtop Tin Lizzies about to be loaded on a flatcar for delivery to a Ford dealership in Anytown, USA. Yes, I know this isn't how they did it back then, they actually loaded them in boxcars. But then, if I did that, then you couldn't see the cars! Thoughts?

No problem, @Shiva! I'm unsure what you mean about the WIP photos, though. If you're asking where they went, they are all still in the thread in various posts. They never left.

They're wearing gloves made from flesh? That's brutal, man. I just remove the hands and swap them around.

This is just a snippet. There are a LOT more out there! Dog statue from a F*R*I*E*N*D*S set. (the apartments) The Muppet's Rowlf has a Beethoven bust A LOTR statue... but not the one you were expecting. (actually from the Hobbit) Harry Potter statue from 2004 The Nexo Knights castle has this lady Can't beat the Classic Space statue from SPIII... Hidden Side has this living statue Speaking of living statues, here's the Doctor Who weeping angel (don't blink!)

I like both and usually use them all in the same layout. I'm a heretic, and I'm proud.

Because of everything they could have done, (an Adventurers movie, an pirates film, you name it) they chose this one. Heck, a Galidor feature film would have been a better option in my opinion.

It's just strange. Nothing about it screams 'good idea - will make mountains of money'.
