It's a VERY nice Blacktron I MOC! Not trying to mini-mod, but, @Isacasi @BrynnOfCastlegate please put your posts in English - it's the only allowed language on EB. I (and others too I bet) want to read your posts without resorting to Google translate! Thanks!

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
I guess we should have expected it not to be Blacktron-related since the GWP torsos were discontinued on Pick A Brick last year... It should have been a sign. -
Also, 49 headpieces and associated headgear would be ridiculous as no lego set has EVER had than many heads, especially without enough torsos and pants. It must be fake.

Personally, I think someone made the description up and is trolling us. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened... (Licensed forum is littered with threads and comments by people with "inside info" who in reality just want to stir the muck and cause trouble!)

Great MOC! But working a handcar is hard work... pulling a single car with one is EXTREMLEY hard work, and you gave them two! I feel sorry for your minifigs, to be honest.

Bricksafe is Lego only, free, safe, and run by the same people who run Rebrickable. (which is another awesome site for instructions!) Try that Bricksafe for your pictures.

Looking very good @Tetso ! I really like Thomas, but his coaches are especially nice! Also, just so you know, Eurobricks isn't meant to host photos. You'll have to post them somewhere else, like Flickr, Bricksafe, Instagram, etc., and then link them into the post here on EB. (also, only a admin like @Jim can delete the attachments you've posted above... there is a thread in Forum Info and Help where you can request this. Attachments are only for your avatar and signature usually.)

LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
You didn't even read what I, and an number of others in several threads have posted, did you? You OPINION is not a FACT, and as such is not true for everyone. Another example: I can say the sky is green, but that's an opinion. The sky being blue is a fact. EDIT: sorry, mods if this is considered a rude post. He asks questions, but apparently doesn't want answers. It's super frustrating, and I can't be alone in that. It almost seems like he's trolling. -
'Where Eagles Dare' It's celebrating it's 55th Anniversary this week, and if you like mystery, WWII, and / or espionage, this film's for you!

10341 Artemis I Rocket & Launchpad Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I wonder if someone at NASA is a Superman II fan? Artemis was the name of the ship the three escapees from the Phantom Zone destroyed on the moon. (and they killed the astronaut crew too...) Anyway, I eagerly await the set. I hope it's in scale with the Saturn V! -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
@legoturtle I can't get that article to load without disabling adblocker, which I won't do. But even if it supports your claims, just because you read something on the internet, doesn't make it true. Big Bang themes, as @Lyichir explained, and around for 3 years and then evaluated for extensions (Ninjago, Chima, Nexo Knights), unless they tanked and then they are just pulled ASAP. (Hidden Side and Vidiyo) It makes no business sense to produce something nobody wants anyway... -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
We are discussing Alien Conquest, not Dreamzzz. But since you brought it up, I really think you underestimate Dreamzzz. It's selling well from what I read / see, and I myself have bought a few sets. Just because you don't see value, doesn't mean it has no value to others, and the inverse is true as well. Petitioning does nothing, and neither does boycotting or letter writing campaigns, as Lego is a singular manufacturer with no shareholders and no interest in outside influences.. basically, they do what they want. Also, constantly complaining about Dreamzzz, Marvel, and other themes does nothing, as these themes are not going anywhere anytime soon. Just accept it and move on,.. you'll be much happier person if you do this IMO. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
@legoturtle They did make Alien Conquest, and it didn't sell. There was a whole wave of second year designs that got cancelled, according to one of the designers at the time. -
Blacktron 1 rises again! All real world pictures added to first post! (To be honest, I've had these models built since at least last November, but finally got around to taking all these pictures just yesterday.)

That spiral staircase is genius... I never would have thought of that, not in a million years. It's amazing what people could accomplish back then with such a limited brick palette!

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces
Murdoch17 replied to LegoPercyJ's topic in LEGO Licensed
They probably discovered some old stock in a warehouse somewhere and just put it up on PAB to get rid of it. -
Is it wrong to say I wish the small dark red wheels were this part instead of the road wheels we got? It would make the set even more desirable to train fans! But since they aren't, I feel Big Ben Bricks is gonna make a lot of money in the coming years, since he sells dark red wheels in several sizes (including his own version of the LEGO part above) EDIT: The big doors in sets 71435 and 71436 would also look nice on train sheds...

@Phil B I will warn you those clear macaroni bricks will be hard to obtain. Be ready to spend a lot of money to get this built!

Clearly you've never heard of the LEGO 9v light and sound lineup of the late 1980's / early 90's! They've been doing this stuff since Futuron, I believe. -
ok, but it still looks awesome regardless! Great work!
