LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Lyichir's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
@Renny The Spaceman is correct, they're just working through old stock from what I recall reading. -
Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?
Murdoch17 replied to Vitruvius's topic in LEGO Licensed
I see you didn't respond to my last time I quoted you and asked you questions. So I ask again, what leaker has said that we are getting a CMF, or even possibly getting one? The last CMF Simpsons series sold poorly. Nobody but you has said we are getting a CMF... unless I am wrong, and you can point me to somebody else to collaborate this info. -
I have heard about BT1 but not BT2. Who is saying both are coming? As I said in the space forum: Personally, I highly doubt they would release two Blacktron sets so close together - they would cannibalize sales of each other unless the latter set was a GWP. And as it stands, there is only a rumor of the BT1 set, with nothing specific rumored for the GWP, if there is one planned. (And, don't forget the windscreen color of BT2 was recently retired so this makes it even less likely to be true - GWP or otherwise!)

Likely the GWP will be a Modular building GWP and not space related, if the past is anything to go by. -
Wizarding World 2024 - Rumors & Discussion
Murdoch17 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
Technically, the only real Mad Eye figure we've gotten was in 2005... the rest are Polyjuice imposters. Unless you count this as figure. -
Could Simpsons line of Minifigure series or Sets return?

How do you know that? No pictures, no real leaks yet. I haven't heard a single reliable leaker say anything beyond a possible Simpsons set is coming. -
With all the rumors of a $110 Blacktron I spaceship coming early next year, I decided it was high time to reveal this classic Blacktron robot I made a while back. This model is recolored and modified from the E.R.I.C. robot from set 76831 - Zurg Battle - from the Pixar film Lightyear. I call this one E.D.G.A.R. which stands for: Electronic Data Gathering / Assimilating Robot Thoughts?

What is your favorite Space set? (One only!)
Murdoch17 replied to SpacePolice89's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Unless I misunderstand you, that's just a sub-theme, not a specific official set from within the Space theme. -
This rumor is already being discussed in this thread. @Bob De Quatre can you please close this thread?

I could have, but since the bus is already 99.9% built and due to to the fact I don't have those parts, I won't be doing that. Thanks for the suggestion though, @zephyr1934! Thanks @ILoveSeatron! However, I think the railroads might not like you operating your mobile home on their rails unless it was planned well in advance. Otherwise, you might get a head-on / cornfield meet!

[OFFICIAL] THREE LEGO Pirate-themed sets announced for November 2024
Murdoch17 replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
@Mister Phes I think the description for the Chronometer is wrong... either that, or that's the strangest ship I've ever seen! -
2025 NEWSFLASH: We're getting tunnel and bridge sets, and two new trains - one of which has a wash rack! Pictures in spoiler! Thoughts on this startling development?

These two rail vehicles are a type of railcar called a Galloping Goose, and are slightly inspired by seven real vehicles built and used by the Rio Grande Southern narrow gauge railway back in the 1930s to 1950s, when the little railroad was torn up. Six still exist in original form, with one being a reconstructed replica. These machines are really something Doctor Frankenstein would love - a bus body or boxcar welded to a road vehicle (usually a Pierce Arrow limousine, though bus bodies were later used) for the front end, with train wheels added underneath. My interpretations of this type of vehicle are built in freight (red) and passenger (blue) versions, even though the real-world ones are all silver / light gray painted. (NOTE: This vehicle's front half was inspired by @hachiroku and his Indiana Jones "Raiders" staff car MOC from 2019.) The rear of the Galloping Geese. As a play feature, you can open the doors to the drivers compartment and place a driver at the wheel. The back half of either vehicle is not meant to be accessible. The free LDD file for both Galloping Geese can be found at my Bricksafe page. I'm currently building the blue Galloping Goose in real life, so keep your eyes peeled for that separate thread later! Thoughts, questions, complaints, and suggestions welcome!

Just curious: what set? Also, I've never seen 3x points as far as I know, and 2x events are kinda rare. My guess is to go with a GWP you want, but be aware they sell out really fast these days and they don't really announce them in advance much anymore... gone are the days when you would know four months in advance what GWP was coming via a store flyer. (now you're lucky if you get leaks two months early)

*takes deep breath* Mickey Mouse and friends, The Looney Tunes crew, Popeye the sailor man, the Flintstones, the Jetsons, Scooby-Doo + the Gang, the Iron Giant, the toys from Toy Story, Judge Doom, Roger Rabbit, SpongeBob SquarePants, Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and freaking Deadpool would like to know your exact location. ...and Doctor Who is partially owned by Disney now!

You all are forgetting Oppenheimer and Barbie can combine to form Barbenheimer. Not only will the world succumb to atomic fallout, but it will be pink snow coming down! If you are lucky enough to grab a plastic fallout suit beforehand, the GPS satellites (which are US controlled, btw) will beam down The Barbie song to your brain directly until you tear off your suit to die a quick, merciful death. If you manage to survive that, the Iron Giant will be taking care of any stragglers. Life in Plastic, it's fantastic! ....I'll be cleaning between my ears now, if anyone needs me. I need a good brain bleaching to get THAT image outta my noggin.

Anyone know what the late November/December GWPs will be?
Murdoch17 replied to icm's topic in General LEGO Discussion
don't forget - 40729 Shackleton's lifeboat with purchases of 10335 Endurance - available Nov 29 to Dec 2 or while supplies last. -
It's not one mold, it's several: tail body (might be multiple molds glued together) wings snout left arm right arm fire w/ pin You probably see where I'm going with this by now: The original molds are gone, and ain't coming back even if you did have the money, because LEGO doesn't do bribes / petitions. However, If you have several million dollars to spare, (it's over $200,000 for a single mold, but can be more depending on size and other factors) then send it to a CNC milling company along with the measurements of every mold cavity required. Be prepared to recut some of the molds from scratch when they don't work when they send it to a plastic maker to have the parts made. Be prepared to also shell out major bucks for a full production run and for the raw materials. You might also fail safety testing and have to redesign from the ground up. (and so on and so on) Simply put: the goat was one mold which had a digital file they could use to recreate it. This is a whole lot more complex than that, and it probably doesn't have a CAD file you could use!

Welcome to Eurobricks! 1. You can make instructions on Stud.io, but beyond that it is a very labor intensive job to create quality instructions that usable by others. You can share your own or download / purchase instructions by other people at the Bricklink Stud.io Gallery, or on Rebrickable. 2. Where you post your topic is where you post your topic - it can only be moved by staff, and that doesn't happen that often. (Usually when someone posts a Ninjago MOC in Town, or example) You also aren't allowed to spam multiple sub-forums with the same question. So in essence, you can't share it with the other EB sub-forums. Hope this answers your questions!
