  1. Nice work on this one! I really like the statue in the face of the rock! I also recognize the head piece used for the aliens. Maybe I'm related.
  2. Really nice lab build! I'll echo the others that the rocks behind the braces were a really nice touch.
  3. I really like the mecha that can roll into a ball, as well as the swampland. Cool hover vehicles as well!
  4. Absolutely incredible! Every bit of it. Beautiful landscape, great vehicles, working off someone else's build, a good story. Couldn't be better.
  5. Really cool transport!
  6. Thanks! I wasn't sure how I was going to accomplish it, but I'm glad it worked out. Now that you mention it, there is a bit of synergy between the two builds. Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the big asteroid. It was my first attempt at SNOT rocks so I wasn't sure what kind of result I was going to get. I'd love to do a Bluerender of this (and my other builds so far), but as of yet, Bluerender doesn't work on Macs despite it's being a Java app. I've been commenting a bit in the Bluerender thread elsewhere and I'm happy to see there are now three developers on the project and they know about the issue. Maybe it will be addressed in the future. You remind me though - I should check my circuitous method of getting a build into POVRay. It worked on a small test, but on my last couple of fighters I was missing a host of parts - to the point that the build would have to be completely remade in Bricksmith to do a render - and I haven't had time to do that. Maybe this build will land in Bricksmith a bit better off and I can run this through POVRay. If I have time today I'll test it. Small chance Blackhawk's PC can run Bluerender - maybe I'll text that too. Thanks! A series of firsts for me. I had fun trying the micro ship and SNOT rocks. The composition was the trick I was really worried about as the build progressed - I could see the scene in my head - but how or if I could portray a sense of dogfighting off of the rectangular plane was another matter. Didn't turn out exactly as I imagined, but it has the essence of it. I would have liked to more ships, but I posted very late and was in danger of falling asleep. Glad you liked it!
  7. Love the spider mecha! The missile pods are really cool, as are the minifig expressions and posing. Great stuff!
  8. Koro's new outfit is great! I really like the mecha too.
  9. Cool chair.
  10. Minifig arm logo! Wouldn't be a normal week on AG without scorpions.
  11. Hahaha @ the giant foot! Priceless.
  12. Great landscape!
  13. That guy may have been a ninja. The remains are facing the other way than one would expect, so it could be a decoy.
  14. Love the cave underneath the base!
  15. So funny!
  16. Haha really funny story! I like how the death ray unfolds.
  17. Haha I was wondering the same thing when I saw that shot. Great reply about the maneuvers required to right oneself in case such a thing happens. Wear a helmet. Yes. The mecha looks very Mantis-like. Great job!
  18. Great story! I like the use of the camera. Nice work on the landscaping too.
  19. Love that little ship! Great shape, compact and sleek. Really nice work on the bay, too.
  20. Like the mini fighters! And wow those base plates bring back memories.
  21. I like the mecha legs. The ground looks great too!
  22. Great work on the lava!
  23. Great story and nice minifig posing!
  24. Impressive build! The mecha is great. Kind of a Dr Octopus thing going on. The facility looks a bit like a Colosseum. I like the curve to it. I'm particularly fond of the small Kawashita logo. I was trying to figure one out and that one is great. The large one is great too - similar to one I was working on in a build I sidelined. May come back someday. Great job!
  25. I was going to say I loved the white flowers in the first picture. Such a small detail but the color contrast and use was really nice. Then I saw more pictures. Love the build concept of climbing up to a platform in the trees. The spider robot is cool and the ship is fantastic!
