  1. Nice little build!
  2. Great ship. Love how it unfolds.
  3. Pretty funny stuff. Great job!
  4. Great landscaping. Funny story too!
  5. Great beach! Nice little ship and way to multitask a shovel!
  6. Cool speeder! Great to have you on board. Welcome to AG!
  7. Great rocks, cool story and underwater scorpions. Now that's a combination for success! Great work on this one.
  8. Cool underwater base! I like the shot through the window and the fact that it's raised off the sea floor. So many blue heads too. It's a week of beheadings!
  9. Great job once again! It was cool to see it in person, but with the story and pictures added I really enjoyed it.
  10. Me too! Nothing quite like flying a rocked sled one handed with a cup of coffee, some afternoon shadow and a smile like you do this kind of stuff for breakfast! Really enjoyed this one. Good job.
  11. Love those aliens! The environment is also nicely done - especially the trees.
  12. Wow is about all I can say to this one. Amazing!
  13. Awesome story! Haha. I loved it. Very cool drill. The ground looks great and nice for first SNOT rocks (I wouldn't have known they were your first had you not said so). Great job!
  14. Fantastic ship and I love that interior. Details abound. I particularly like some part use and placement on the Wasp and the buckles in the interior, but there's a lot to love. Great job!
  15. I love the second picture so much. The Hollywood cinematic quality. Really feels like he is launching up into the air. Great idea for a build!
  16. Cool drone! I too like the part usage.
  17. Oh this is great! I really like the verticality. Great sense of depth going all the way down to the lowest level where the water is. Very well done. Perfect use for a micro build!
  18. We think alike on both counts. Probably I will fill in between the wings as mentioned above and slide the open space forward into the neck behind the second cockpit on the C version, thus satisfying practical considerations while maintaining Unobtanium spread throughout in other areas in smaller doses. Can't use too much of that stuff in one place, otherwise you may run foul of Handwavium Dissodance. Perhaps that version will make a cameo in some other build so we can see it.
  19. I really like the asymmetry in the ship and I see I am not the first here to say so. Nice little cliff scene as well.
  20. It's actually very strong in that section build-wise, but if you mean taking a hit in combat, well, I would have to apply handwavium in the interest of coolness! Something I'll revisit in the C version because the fuselage is the main part that needs redesign to fit a second cockpit. I don't want to extend the "head" as I'm really happy with that shape - the second cockpit will sit in the area where the forward greebling is, and then I'll go down the fuselage and see if I want to keep the rail idea. I think probably. I know what you mean though about looking like a part having fallen off. The reason these are not rendered is at the moment my getting from LDD to POVRay is precipitous. Usually ends up with some decent percentage of parts missing and a need to rebuild in Bricksmith - which I haven't had time to do. So yeah, it looks about like that. Might be because the rail concept is not extended all the way up the neck anymore, given some fill in. May decide to fill in between the wings and extend the open rails idea in the neck area further in the C version. The only part that stayed open in this design was in between the wings. Open to opinions/comments on that of course, or any other part of the build. I really do enjoy how more often than not one part sets you off down the path to inspiration and surprise. I've always loved that about Lego.
  21. I really enjoyed all these compact little story-specific scene builds as I was reading along. Humorous story and the quirky nature of some of the details in the builds fits it perfectly. Wonderful for science-ing! Omg I almost had an incident with my tea and my keyboard. The circular saw in the sink, too... Great detail. There's a kind of B-movie campyness going along with the sheer light-hearted quirkiness.
  22. One wonders. Thanks for the kind words! Anytime, my friend! Thanks! I had three main parts, not including the various wing parts. There was a long "neck" section for the fuselage and as I was making it it was developing into two long rails. I thought it looked pretty cool and the hole is a vestige of it's original form I kept. It got a bit more filled in when I decided to extend the cockpit greebling as well as add a little preceding the rear housing. I then also extended the space used by the variable wings where they attached, making the fuselage look not as long as before. Can still see the black running down the inside of the rails. I didn't fully fill it in as I got to liking how it looked with space there. A future planned version adds a second cockpit. I may lengthen the neck a little bit for that one, in order to fir the rear facing cockpit, and then I'll address that area again. It's a curious design decision, agreed, but I liked it given the open "rails" quality of the rear engine housing. Sure, I can do that! There's plenty more pictures and I didn't add them all. It's now in there in the spoilers.
  23. That walker is really cool as well.
  24. So many 1x1s. So... many. Love the boat and the walkways. And the sheer scale. Great job!
  25. Great build! I really like the rods in the reactor and the reactor build itself. Thanks for the cameo too. Me too!
