[O - F03] "There are some positive aspects of being sick"
aeralure replied to WickNole's topic in AG1 Archive
Really cool mecha and I like the very clean look. -
Wow that's amazing Bob! I'm not even sure where to start. So many cool little details! I like the rear lowered ramp and removable canisters, the rear wheel set assembly with the arch pieces, and... more! The overall look is really unique too. Great job!

Looks like a nice build. I like builds that feature two planes and it looks well done, especially the roots to the plants and the bubbles. I'll second (third?) others and suggest a non-filtered view so we can make out the details.

Thanks! I really had fun with this one. Look down the road for the C version - it will have an additional rear facing cockpit and modifications through the fuselage area. Maybe some tweaks throughout as well. It won't be a featured build as I have done that here, but it will sneak an appearance in somewhere.

Thanks! Yeah, I realized that was a problem and tried to use angled shots that minimized the issue. It was sort of inevitable, given our main color is dark bluish grey and the base color I imagined for that ship is dark bluish grey, as well as that was also the ideal color for asteroids. The custom Shōkakus I have in mind are black or red like Aera's and thankfully at least hers is there, but as regular pilots are there also here I decided to let it play out like that and theirs would blend in some to the background since it's accurate (although at size, they have coloration along with grey - I just couldn't get much variation onto a micro - little bit of black - the full sized ones have black striping and some light bluish grey). The other option I considered was to modulate the color of the asteroids a bit but the SNOTing took me too long and I'm out of time.

Location: The Fascini Cluster E11 Tags: Spaceship, Kawashita, Military, The Fascini Cluster, E11 :: Aera's Diary :: 06 Julali 3815 1304 hours I left Sorn with mixed feelings. Once the fighting had ended, I began to imagine myself settling down in such a place, the quiet beauty of the endless sea and sky soothing my soul. Perhaps someday. Instead, I was offered a promotion to the rank of commander and, along with that, orders to transfer from the Ryūjō to the Murasame. Being a pilot is my life. I accepted. It's quite a change moving from a flight leader on a light escort to commander on a heavy cruiser. I welcome the challenge - I only hope my team find another flight leader who will serve them well. Having said my goodbyes, I took my leave of Sorn and the Ryūjō and took a transport to The Fascini Cluster. The Murasame is currently in The Fascini Cluster in a reserve capacity. Helmed by the highly regarded Captain Quentin Voss, I imagine it won't remain there long as his skill will be desired on the front lines. My first order of business is to assess the Murasame's pilots and to assemble a new team. While I was offered many personnel files, I opted for something a little more hands on - live-fire flight drills within the asteroids of The Fascini Cluster. Nothing better to test the resolve and skill of the pilots than mock combat in an environment like that! For a little added fun, I'll join them. I chose the Shōkaku fighter for this task. I was even able to get one done up for me in my usual red! Perks of being the commander. It couldn't be better suited, given it's extreme mobility and highly accurate blaster. We'll of course hone the frequency such that it won't do much more damage than register the hit, but it will still be able to displace some rock. I'm curious to see who uses this to their advantage. :: Entry end :: :: Aera's Diary :: 05 Julali 3815 1309 hours Oh! I almost forgot! I have to remember to send that technician some Orinshian Tea! :: Entry end :: :: Aera's Diary :: 05 Julali 3815 1926 hours Well that was even more fun than I hoped! We have some good pilots on the Murasame, as expected. I scored more than a few hits and came away clean, so even though there's room for improvement, I can work with these pilots! In the coming days I'll choose my flight and make proper introductions, as well as share more about Captain Voss and the crew of the Murasame. I'll also tour the hanger deck and get a few close ups of the Shōkaku. Truly a fine plane and I haven't talked about it much here. I'll also tour the rest of the Murasame - there's much to see! For now, however, it's reports. Tons of reports - and it's getting late! :: Entry end ::

Hahaha! I don't think Aera had anything to do with this one. Cool little build! I like the missile racks and it has a nice profile. I'm glad, given your outings so far, that you've finally decided to don a helmet! Problem is, most of your trouble seems to be outside the plane.

Yeah, lovin' the escort droid. Lily pads as mentioned are a nice use as well.

Great photography and a funny story! Good posing to complete it. I immediately thought of Elmer Fudd and Daffy Duck when I read the title, so I was glad to find a humorous story and the return of Napoleon Duck. I really like the color combination - dark and saturated green and grey go well with the white and blue. Nice work!

Love this! Especially the first shot where I can imagine the ravine or river you have to cross over that bridge to climb up to the installation. The shape of the build and the fauna that's there is perfect for imagining the rest of a mountain top station. Love how it feels like the minifig is way, way up there. The radar dish installation piece is really cool too! Would love to see a couple more in close detail shots.

She's massive! For some reason, the look on your sigfig's face combined with the sliding door animation and "This is the lead bedroom" I found hilarious. Very cool build. I love all the details inside. It looks like a lot of fun to play around with and a lot of fun to build. Nice work!

This... is all kinds of awesome! Thanks for posting this (saved the photo)!

I really enjoyed the wings on this one too. There's details in the cockpit that cannot be seen due to the placement of the wedge plates. The seat is fully adjustable and there are other controls and a keyboard in there. I probably should have included a shot of that, but I have added a couple detail shots here for you to check out. Glad you enjoyed it! Cockpit detail Wing detail

Oh wow. I love the grabbing and bending of the trees! Beautiful fauna and ground you're stomping over/through. Almost looks like a bansai and the organic aesthetics is supported by a nice non-rectangular base. The exosuit is cool as well. Very nice!!
-
For the sense of space, I like the little space under the fauna. It's also really colorful which is nice to see.

Great vehicle to take for Driver's Ed. Don't have to worry about the steering or parallel parking portions of the exam - just drive right over or through it. Really cool vehicle.

Great build Narbilu! So much going on!

Yeah, that's been my experience too. Most anything I encounter using Java also works on the Mac. This app though crashes at launch (I see a rectangle of the window for the app opening for just a sec). I reported this a couple pages back, but the app's owner said it doesn't work on a Mac for some reason and he doesn't have a Mac to test. It's probably some simple compiling thing or some line of code (not that I am a programmer) as Java in general works on a Mac and I have the most up to date version and the version needed for this app. Holding out hope it gets on the development update list maybe to see if the issue could be found. I'm at any rate thrilled there's more people able to work on Bluerender.
-
This is great news! Thanks so much to those helping. Perhaps now I there is hope that it will work on a Mac one day.

Love the style and how the story reads like a theme park tour guide. Great stuff! I like the monorail.
