Awesome mecha! Love the style - sort of a Japanese steampunk mecha. Works so well for Kawashita. I really like the banner attachment and the fact that Shadow looks great with and without the accessories. The thigh guards add a nice touch. Great stuff!

I see nothing in the wording that prevents that. Sounds like it was originally intended that they were all different ships. Although, technically, I see nothing in the wording of Cat B that strictly says the entire ship must be shown either - just that it is a ship that seats at least 5 minifigs. Seems possible that one could do a capital ship for Cat B and Cat C where Cat B shows the bridge and outer housing of that area while Cat C shows the hangar bay, engine room or some other area. However, that may not be possible as the implication from Cat A is that the entire ship is shown as it's a smaller fighter and it's worded the same as Cat B, which may be meaning to say the entire ship is also shown there, with interiors shown specifically for Cat C.

I was already having trouble meeting one build a week, but was pushing myself to get it done by cutting some corners IRL (not a good long term plan). I was considering having to move myself to a build every two weeks due both to the amount of time I have and how long it takes (I'm really slow when building apparently, compared to how long others say similar builds take them). I haven't yet been able to match story elements others include yet, either. I really did not and do not like the idea because I wish to contribute every build cycle, but I also really do not wish to rush builds just to get some sort of points in (but I admit I feel obligated and that's hard). Bring on a 3-part Challenge on top of that (and the Challenge is awesome - I wish to participate in all three parts) and I'm not sure what to do. Start planning builds for those or try to get caught back up weekly? Add to that the fact that the next few weeks I have even less time than I did before and I'm truly stuck. I hesitated even voting because much of it revolves around each builder's personal free time - how much they have - as well as how fast they build. If someone can build pretty easily on a weekly basis than they should be able to. The fact that I seem not to be able to shouldn't matter. The game allows for that. I have to admit that I like the idea of one build every two weeks. The weekly pace is a bit too frantic for me, but maybe it is not for others. It's good to have a poll, but keeping the game weekly may be best since some have no problems with it and the game does allow for missing a week as needed.

I saw the first picture and thought it was really cool, but then I saw the spoiler pictures... Wow! So beautiful. The shaping is amazing. I'm particularly fond too of the rear 3/4 and rear shots though as well. Really nice work Bob!

As always the story and the build is great fun. Really like that the drill works too. The snow was definitely a nice effect here.

Really nice first shot. Blackhawk really does look lost in an alienscape of some sort. The bendy hose things worked well, as did bending your brick-built fauna. Great job considering a lack of inspiration on your fighter.

Fantastic mecha NuckElBerg! Looks near infinitely poseable and such a huge scale! LDD definitely makes hinge work challenging - I'll second that - but you made it look easy.

I love everything about this. I'd say the story especially, but the truck and the beacon are fantastic, as is the crash scene... so yeah, everything.

Would be fun to see. I think I have all the parts for the Reppū. I'll doublecheck and also try to get the remaining parts in for the Shōkaku and then get both up soon along maybe with instructions made from Blueprint. Oh really? That's awesome! Thanks for sharing that. I have fun writing the descriptions and planning out the models of ships I build and their various capabilities. Cool to know it lined up with what you imagined. Glad you enjoyed it.

Inclusion of your sigfig is more specifically stressed here than in the General Rules. How does that work as regards LDD? Is an approximation acceptable (and a really rough one, at that)?
