  1. I like the façade you have created on this build. And like most would like to see this with a bit of colour added. looking forward to see what interior you create.
  2. Great building and a great interior you've created.
  3. Hi Kermit. Its showing as available in the UK now. It was mentioned on Brickset last night as listed in other countries other than USA but showing sold out so maybe they changed the availability sometime this morning
  4. Hi LT. I like how you've mixed the TLG "shops" with your own builds. The BW sign looks much better with the red background. Plus I like the wall area you've created with the Statue in between. Keep up the good work.
  5. Hi. I have just watched the programme showing the Lego Factory on the Megafactories Series being re-run on National Geographic Channel where they where design the City Police Station 7498 and they said this was a "Re-boot of the most classic Lego sets in History", "the Flagship set of Lego City" and has like most city sets "an update every few years to keep up with the times" so it looks like city police and fire are going to keep coming out over and over again, including 2014, so I know that won't please many AFOL's but at the end of the day its what the kids want and makes TLG money.
  6. Hi timmyc1983. I used the black hoses instead of the expensive white ones. Still looks ok. Hopefully one day TLG will release a new set with white hoses to make them more widely available and bring their price down like what they are doing with the dark blue arches. Speaking of the arches, i used the dark bluish gray but will change them when i get dark blue ones.
  7. Really liking your update 'Bricksan'. I've liked the Coastguard Station from the beginning and loving the way you've made the Marina. Great work.
  8. This is one huge MOC Dfenz. You've done a great job of replicating the Arnotts store here.
  9. Fabulous re-creation you have made of this building. Well done
  10. Thanks for the great review 'Mr. Elijah Timms'. I really like this set and still considering getting it but like you and LT, I think TLG could have expanded on this and had a "Logging" theme which IMO would be better than the mining theme having some of the items that both of you have mentioned included.
  11. This works out at approx. 10 GBPs dearer than 10155 so possible it could be a re- re-release! But hope a new one I like this idea too, a Maersk Cargo scene
  12. Great version of this station with all its curves. I look forward to the pics of the completed Station
  13. Nice modification of this Modern NY Fire House. I bet that roof got a bit frustrating?
  14. Hopefully it will be a completely new version as the last one has only been unavailable for a year, otherwise this would be its second re-release if its the same one which would be strange IMO. Hopefully some day the will bring out an up to date Maersk Container Lorry.
  15. Liking the Art Deco shops LT. The Hardware store building looks far better with the flat roof.
  16. OMG you've managed to come up with the exclusive again GRogall. Look forward to more info and photo's of course.
  17. Thanks for posting GRogall. All those great background graphics in the city range makes me whish I had a never ending supply of lego to replicate them.
  18. Nice review Zeahl. I bought this set a the Glasgow store Grand opening but not had time to build it yet. I notice from the Coatguard line up picture in the instructions that 60015 Coastguard plane isn't included so guess this is a store exclusive to just Lego store and someone like TRU?
  19. Hi rriggs, I think you should keep this as a Fire and Ambulance station and maybe build a separate Coastguard building and it could have a jetty attached to it.
  20. I remember the Weetabix promotion. Jeez is it that long ago? Unfortunatley I didnt eat enough Weetabix to get one of these! But im sure on the inside of the box there was a picture you could colour in. Not the same though. How good would it be for Lego to team up with some company again to release a similar promotion?
  21. The latest version of the road plates (2005) is the only time that Lego has sold them as a mixed pack ie T-junction & curve and Straight & cross road. IMO this puts people off (including myself) from buying road plates, as they end up with ones they don't want or need, even though you can adapt the T-junctions and cross roads as some have suggested. I hope Lego return to the original method of pairing up in double of the same plate or even as Xyver suggest selling them singularly. Also having a 16 x32 version would be good too.
  22. I contacted Lego last October about the way they distribute the Road plates and if they ever consider return to the previous ways of packaging them in 2 of the same plates ie 2 x straight, 2 x t-junctions etc and here is the reply I got. We are always happy to read about passionate LEGO® Fans. I am sorry, that you prefer the old way of sending out the road plates. At the moment I can not tell you wether or not we will change the way of sending them out in the future. However, LEGO creators in Denmark are constantly creating new sets and are coming up with new ideas. Maybe, in the future, there will be a set, where we send out the road plates like you prefer it. Hope this is of use
  23. Not sure if its been mentioned before but in the City Starter Set 60023 the Police motorcyclist and the robber minifigures are in the old style clothing whereas the Firefighter and Paramedic are in the latest uniforms. Wonder why this is as would have thought all would be the most up-to-date versions!
  24. Getting one of these origanal sets is a great find in this day and age.
  25. And where is this now sought after shop?????
