  1. This is a fantastic build. Love the rounded shape and all the exterior detail on this build. There is great detail on the interior also. So much fitted into each floor.
  2. Go for a training tower!
  3. Fantastic Auditorium you have created there Missing Brick. I guess this is the style that a vast majority had hoped for with the Palace Cinema but I guess the style they have created is from a different era and price too. Well thanks for posting and I guess many will be copying your version.
  4. Would the same tyres that are used on 4208 Forest Fire Truck be an option or not for your truck LT. Might need a change of mudguard if you did. So option might be to raise it a plate or two. Nice truck too Coghilla
  5. I like the way you have made the conversion from a the police station to fire station. This makes a decent "CITY" fire station/HQ even before you added the extention. Great job well done. As far as your new extention options go may option 2 might make it too long, but if you modify option 3 slightly you could be onto a winner. If you changed the garages from facing each other, because imeadiatly as they leave the bays they have to do a sharp turn and swap them placea with the offices and call centre so that the engines drive straight out the courtyard. Keep the dorm and helipad above the garage bays and have the offices and call centre tothe sides opposite each other! Just my opinion.
  6. What a fantastic entry oo7. The radiator looks great and the snowblower is cool. Liking everything about this as there is so much going on. Good luck with this entry.
  7. Hi Yes Ive got pics. I really should upload on here but havn't got around to it yet. But I must do it soon
  8. Don't worry. This set will sell all right. There are plenty fans of the Modular series
  9. Good UK price too. Might get 2 now
  10. Yes I used 2 FB's to create the double bays and extention out the back but used a 48 x 48 base plate.
  11. Brilliant review and excellent photo's rufus. For some reason I didn't get th previous octan tanker but I will definately get this one. As per them both having amber roof lights, this is maybe because when they are used for airplane refueling as 3180 was grouped with the last airport series. I see lots of tankers the size of 60016 around my area as they are a good size to deliver heating oil.
  12. Thats looking realy cool with the stickers on. Very authentic and like the real one in the photo. Well done.
  13. Hey Luke Styler. As you can see from wondermokey's post, a slight extention to the rear of 10197 will accomodate the 60002 fire truck. Just to give some more idea's I had to extend my 10197 further as my trucks are 23 studs long but need 25 studs clearance and I wanted a bit of space all around so my station is on a 48stud long baseplate and the applaince hall floor is 32 studs long using 2 x 16stud tiles. There is even enough room for the engine from 7945
  14. Hi KielDaMan. I would say this 6002 is more likely based on an applaince similar to the MacDill one albiet it a smaller scale. This quint style with ladders is rarely seen in Europe. They come with booms like the ones on 79465. If 6002 had come with detachable ladders it would have been more like the fire engine pic posted by MrDarthLord. The appliance pic posted by marv, an out and out turntable ladder is what the engine that comes with 6004 Fire Station will be based on.
  15. What a fantastic creation Redhead 1982! There is so much great detail on this, with the water/shoreline and the rocky edge of the island, to the Lighthouse itself. Great that you motorized it to add realism. How fidley was it trying to build the lighthouse and create its shape?
  16. Thanks for the nice review. I am personnally pleased that TLG has decided to replace the 7239 Fire Truck from 2005. Didn't like the look of that one and surprised it lasted so long but must have been a good seller. This Fire Truck is similar in looks to 7208 but much better. The comparison you made to this new Fire truck to the real one is realistic. It is a more all round fire truck, like a "Quint" compared to 7208 which is more a turntable ladder. I will definatley get this set. I like the introduction of the new ladder piece that lego have made, but wish they would bring out a ladder peice that is the same length as the truck, even though its a kids toy after all,it would maybe look realistic. Ive not voted yet on the "which is the best fire truck" vote yet as up until now 7945 was my favourite so still undecided. You should edit your original post to include the picture of the Fire truck from 6004 Fire station.
  17. What a great entry! I like the way youve created the log cabin. That moose is classic. Well done
  18. Oh c'mon LT. Im sure your minifigs would reach. The repair guy from 3179 repair truck reaches his, but then again he isn't pulling out rolled up hose. Keep up the good work and look forward to your updates. That 2010 fire truck was just crying out to be changed IMO
  19. Even a bull bar like the forest police van would set this truck off quite well. Its a good bush truck you have made LT. I was wondering what it would look like, if you raised the position of the lockers, so that they were level with the wheel arches like the real one in the photo, just to give it that off road look?
  20. Yeh LT I agree with the simialrities there with the Lego forest firefighter but I thought yours was maybe resembling this!
  21. Youve done a good job there Luke Styler, amalgamating 2 bank sets together making a good sized one. I wish lego would make more sets like 3661.
  22. The minifigure although appears to be naked, but is wearing the CFS Bush Firefighters "Overalls" Uniform. It is just plain yellow as opposed to the marking on the lego forest firefighters kit.
  23. Yip that is the one. I was trying to figure out how long ago it was when I first saw it and it was about the time when I came out of my dark ages and back into lego which was about 3 years ago. I was going to copy its style for my own forest firefighters if you don't mind and hadn't seen it for a whie.
  24. Not seen any of the 2013 city sets in Tesco or Toys R Us. In fact very little city sets left on the shelves after christmas, which is the norm.
  25. Its starting to take shape LT. I didn't realise that it was yourself that built the wee CFS Fire Station. Would that fit in Mannum?
