Remember we are still awaiting the announcement of the "Summer Special" release like 60026 Town square and 4207 City Garage, but fingers crossed, hopefully it won't be Police or Fire related I wonder if there will be anything else City, apart from the Aritc Ice Breaker. Wonder if this will have a helipad on it, similar to those on North sea supply vessels. I imagine it will be like a combination of the latest Coastguard boat 60014 and the previous offering 7739 in that it has a helipad on the bow (60014) for either its own small helicopter or that from the Artic Base Camp and a crane on the on the Stern (7739) for lifting supplies on and off!

Like how you've added a drag trailer to your logging Truck. I think many would have liked to have seen this model come with such a trailer or have been an articulated trailer truck in the first place. Guess price ruled this out. Good job though. Plus I like your train wagon's. With a few logging themed city product on the go just now, its a pity the new Cargo Train doesn't come with a logging wagon/carriage.

The bank is looking good. I think you made the right choice in making it a corner building. I really like how you've made the "hole in the wall/speedbank/cash machine"

Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary CUUSOO set Discussion
scottwb2010 replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in LEGO Licensed
Congratulations to Brent Waller on his project being selected. One part of me is sad that it won't include his Firehouse, which is well executed, but the other part of me is relieved as I'm at the finishing stages of my own build of the Ghost Busters Firehouse which has been a labour of love for a while now. Well done Brent. -
Looking at more enlarged pics of the Artic theme 60036, its amazing the slight changes you notice from the prelim images (which I suppose goes for a lot of models). The crawler vehicle has different roof mounted spotlights plus on the prelim box art, you can clearly see 8 minifig's, but on the box at the show, there are only 6 in view and given that the small helicopter is missing in the shot then it would have 7 minifig's, with the figure on the crawler vehicles crane missing. But then in the scene shot there are 8 fig's with a minifig beside the crawler vehicle. Plus I like the ice axes. Shame they hadn't been used with the CMF mountaineer instead of the road pick axe

Cheers for posting the Artic pics C4MS. Im realy liking this theme more and more. The tracked vehicle on the 60036 Base Camp reminds me of a Pisten Bully snow groomer. Think the vehicle on the 60035 outpost would have been better tracked also IMO. All in all the theme looks good. Would like to see the 60062 Artic Ice Breaker.

Well we might start getting some "official" pictures later this week, with the German Toy fair starting on Wednesday.

Thanks Just2good for posting the prelim image of the Artic Base Camp. I quite like the Artic theme. Part of the building looks as though its derived from a train carriage. Any looks good, plus there are 8 minifigures!

Cool Water Rescue vehicle and boat. I like how it resembles a 4x4 capability. Also like the line up of your 'water' incident PDA.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
scottwb2010 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Hi nesquick. I take it you have some good inside info that there will be another modular building released this year? -
'LT' you know you won't be able to resist once you see those shiny boxes

Fantastic and very well detailed Lego shop you have created Redhead 1982. Just love the PAB wall. You've also done a great job incorporating it into an apartment block.

Really liking how your street is coming along. A lot of great details. As for the bank, I like the 5th one's detail.

I like how you've managed to create this type of telescopic platform "Farnheim". Always wondered how the second boom/tip boom could be created in lego, to fold under the main boom along with the cage. Good job. Well done.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned it already, but strange that there is no mention of a Level Crossing with the projected release of an updated City Train theme
-
Great build of what looks a very hard to replicate truck. Well done.

I like your update with the addition of the windows on the upper floor closest to the ambulance bays. Makes it look more complete

Just looked at the Peirce web site and there is a nice photo of an Arrow XT Platform albeit a 100' platform for the Oswego F.D, but a great looking truck with the Arrow XT cab. look forward to seeing your build.

There must be a fan of helicopters in the City design team as yet another one making an appearance in recent times, this time although a Helicopter would be very apt in an Artic scene. The piece count puts it about 30 peices more than 2013 offerings 60010 Fire Helicopter @ 232 pieces and 60013 Coast Guard Helicopter @ 230 so may be similar to those rather than 4439 Heavy Lift Helicopter from Forest Police in 2012 @ 393 peices. All the same Im looking forward to seeing hoto's of this Artic Theme offerings.

Fantastic display 'Hoexbroe' so much detail throughout and the internal assembly line is greatly done.
-
Cheers 'KyleJ' . In that case BrickmanJ your applaince hall may have to be quite some length to accommodate the 'tiller' truck, so I would quite like to see a platform truck and see how you do the 'basket' or as we call it in the UK, the 'cage'.

VWcharger69, I think you have misinterpreted by post. I didn't mean for you to take down your pic. BrickmanJ is a TDA a tiller Ladder?
