  1. Progress is good. The modifications have resulted in a better appearing locomotive. Call me crazy, but I think it could us a little tweak. Maybe attach the sanders? I suggest a black modified plate with vertical clip (4085) to hold a black small tooth (53451) in front of the leading drivers.
  2. Nice work. Add in the 2-bay garage for repairing cars and it would be a welcome addition anywhere.
  3. I like the progress you've made with your locomotive. Nice to see how you've incorporated the ideas here into reality in such a short time.
  4. Fantastic monastery. The architectural queues are great and the detail work makes it the complete package.
  5. Stunning layout to fit a gorgeous steam locomotive. The details on the buildings, right of way, and even the DB diesel trains is fantastic. On thing I would like to see is a close up on the various signals you have in the layout.
  6. Lit up at night, your TEE VT 11.5 is a gorgeous creation. The work to light it must be insane. Kudos.
  7. Stunning work. Small, fully functional, and it looks great too.
  8. Sweet build. You've captured the source material well. Something about how you've posed the thumbs screams gamer. Love the shout to Sonic too.
  9. Excellent scenery for any layout. Your father did a great job on it. The ability to split it into segments and see the insides is cool too.
  10. Ah ha! I thought I'd seen rollblocks somewhere recently. Thanks for the reminder.
  11. Your model has captured the feel of the trainset well. Best of luck in building such a monster.
  12. Excellent work recreating the yard in bricks.
  13. Great rendition of this classic shunter. It fits the scale well, even with the design limitation you had with the motorization. I enjoyed watching this type of locomotive doing yard work when I lived in Germany. I'd love to see the narrow gauge locomotive and car you created as well.
  14. Superb work. Lots of great architectural details.
  15. Excellent work. You've nailed this robotic monstrosity perfectly.
  16. Great street course you've built. I love all the small details, including the heap of round plates for the runoff.
  17. Stunning. The tranquility of the shrine can be felt even in the pictures. Love the water flowers.
  18. Nice collection of Sienar TIE craft. I do like the TIE Interceptor and you've captured it wonderfully at the scale.
  19. Wow! This is a seriously detailed diorama you're building. Watching the various iterations is amazing. Keep it up.
  20. Excellent maintenance of way equipment. The details pop and for some reason, I really like all the lights on the roof. I can easily see one of these slowly working around a layout, assisting with MoW tasks.
  21. Thorsten, thanks for the good words. I have loads of spare curved track, but not enough clear panels to extend the design. I've seen others use the technique, so I copied it. I do feel good about the design. It adds a lot to the station and the layout. Cheers. Thank you. With the second carriage for the train, and other trains being far longer, I felt the platform needed to be lengthened. It always seemed to be missing something though, so I thought back to the time I was as the real King's Cross and remembered the roof.
  22. The Platform 9 and 3 quarters that comes with 75955 Hogwarts Express is rather small and limited. It pales in comparison to the real King's Cross terminal. I have extended the length of the platforms, raised the bridge enough to enable most locomotives and rolling stock to pass under it (double stack intermodal and auto rack don't fit.) The pièce de résistance is the overhead covering. I know it doesn't fully capture the look of the station, but I feel that within the size constrains of my layout and budget, it gives a far better feel. With the top removed. [/url] Gandalf blocks the bridge over track nine, crying, "You shall NOT pass!" Rolling his eyes, Dumbledore sighs. "That joke gets older every time you do it." "I know, but it's my best line," protests Gandalf, allowing Dumbledore to cross.
  23. Gorgeous locomotive you've built. Nicely scaled and full of details. Piping, air compressor, and an impressive backhead. Kudos.
  24. Interesting build. I love the glowing eye. The knight shall be a tasty snack.
