I like it. I'm not usually a fan of many modern architecture designs, but the flow of it works for me. That, or it makes me think the building is made of marshmallows.

[Opinion] Review of the new road plates system (2021)
Feuer Zug replied to The Lego Room's topic in LEGO Town
After some initial weariness, I picked up a set of the new road plates on sale at a local retailer. I was converted to them immediately. First, they offer me the ability to make a great runway for my aircraft models with relative ease. Second, the modular option enabled me to retrofit my modular buildings fairly quickly to be combined with them. I was back to buy more the next day. As some have noted, the lack of curves is a detractor, but I find it made up by the ability to put intersections and crosswalks where ever I chose. I might even break even trying to sell my collection of old road base plates too. -
[WIP] LEGO Train Layout: Old Bukit Timah Railway Station
Feuer Zug replied to LEGOTrainBuilderSG's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The real station looks quaint and scenic. I can't wait to see it in real bricks. -
Cute and perfect.

[MOC] Ricky's PRR class GG1 locomotive
Feuer Zug replied to RickyWasAYoungBoy's topic in LEGO Train Tech
The GG-1 is a hard locomotive to capture in bricks, but you've pulled it off. -
[MOC] ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE SBB BE 4/6
Feuer Zug replied to FreelanceArtist's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Well done. Quite a bit of details included. This would pair well with the Crocodile as many have mentioned. -
Bloody hell! That's a serious M-Tron force. The minifigure line is cool. Maybe mix in a few other classic lines and it could be doable. Some Blacktron, Futuron, Ice Planet, and SP II figures would round it out.

I like the run down, ramshackle feel the place has. The suit with the blaster is a bit mysterious, what's his story?
-
Nice modification of the Great Hall.
-
Well done. That's a good use for all the colored rounded tiles. I like the lady's dress as well. But reel to reel? Who uses that anymore? Is there an inside?
-
Fine job on the caboose. The interior details are wonderful.
-
Brilliant!

Superb MOC. The detail work all around is excellent, and if one didn't know better, the side windows fit. The work on all the electrical connections on the top look fantastic.
-
Nicely done. The only problem I see is the pantographs can't reach the catenary, but that's easily fixable. Otherwise, wonderful locomotive.

The station was excellent, but adding it to the small layout is perfect. Great work.

MOC: GWR 4900 Class 5972 Olton Hall (4-Wide)
Feuer Zug replied to CMF-1138's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Another finely constructed 4-wide. You have the proportions down perfectly for the scale. -
Beautiful. It's hard to tell it's LEGO with the excellent SNOT work.
-
Your drive train is perfect. Slow, yet flat enough to provide everything necessary for movement. The random assortment of equipment gives it the proper look and the portable toilet is hilarious.
-
Quite the collection of locomotives. You've blended the history in your descriptions with the designs magnificently. I do like 4-wide, and this is stellar work at that scale.
-
Nice modification. It now has a 30's streamlined feel to it. Long hood forward? I almost feel it needs an oversized supercharger on top and it'd be perfect.

MOC: Santa Fe Super Chief EMD F7 A-B-A (4-Wide)
Feuer Zug replied to CMF-1138's topic in LEGO Train Tech
You've captured the feel of the EMD F-7 exquisitely. I dare say, your nose is far better than the one I did on a 4-wide 5 years ago. -
That locomotive borders on insanity. Building it is a considerable accomplishment. Well done.

[MOC] 60 CP 1400 Presidencial Power Functions
Feuer Zug replied to andrepinto's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Fantastic. You've captured the real thing superbly. -
Good conversion to the modern PuP system. The old are still capable of running, even off the powered rails.
