Awesome chimera of the X-Wing and a Gundam. Both parents are recognizable, but the result is unique and spectacular. My only question is, where do you fit the droid?

Quaint little party. Nicely done.

Wow! This is a superb recreation of the Reichstag. The detail work is impressive for the scale. Having the dome be removable with the radar dish for a walkway under as well as the floor below is neat.

MOC: Glacier Express with Panorama Carriages
Feuer Zug replied to Haddock51's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Excellent work on the Glacier Express, even if I hate to say it, but the Glacier Express is an overpriced tourist trap in my opinion. If you're going to travel that section of the Alps, buy a day ticket and ride coach on the regular trains. Why, because you can open the windows and really enjoy the scenery. Your locomotive is spot on from when I saw it on the Rhätische Bahn. Seven wide really fits for the meter gauge line. You did well with the passenger carriages, making the observation windows appear to roll towards the top. -
Nice rendition of the lighthouse. Maybe a bit too clean though. I will agree with MAB, a base would really help it.

Recently, I was reviewing pictures I took while living in Germany and riding on DeutscheBahn trains. In one picture, I noticed a tiny MoW rolling stock piece being used for assisting with catenary repairs. For some reason, it stuck with me. With this year's OcTRAINber being "Critter" themed and seeking small items like MoW pieces, I will be attempting to recreate it as best I can, using the smallest amount of pieces. I predominantly run stock or modified 6-wide LEGO trains. As my collection of European styled electrics has increased, I have been adding catenary to my layout. I will the catenary it as a reference point for the size of the rolling stock. I should have the parts available for this. In the same vein, I recently visited the Pennsylvania RR museum in Strasburg, PA. The small theme again plays well into a piece of industrial rolling stock I will attempt to recreate. This item is a perfectly calibrated precision piece. This will require a fair bit of black pieces, but I should have them. I know I've got spare wheel sets to donate to this MOC. My last attempt will be a "diesel locomotive". If the BMR folks want a small switcher, I'm going with a railcar mover, the Trackmobile Spartan. Tiny, cute, and anything besides a flatcar is larger than the Spartan. It's got an engine that puts out a whopping 100HP and weighs in at approximately 15 tons, and has a tractive effort of 21,750 pounds. I mean, only "real" locomotives are rated for tractive effort, right? This will allow me to use up some of the yellow pieces I've got lying around. Sadly, the size I expect to build this at, it'll be hard to try and stuff a motor in it, but I will try. The battery box and IR receiver would have to be in the connected rolling stock if I can.

Well done on this Maintenance of Way machine. You've built it cleanly and easily recognizable. The detail level feels right.

Great model. Even without the Photoshop details, the hot rod is classic and instantly recognizable. The red balloon pieces make excellent fenders and complete the classic look.

Great work on rebuilding the Hall Class from the paltry Hogwart's Express model to your MOC. The size increase really makes this locomotive pop. I like how you have slanted the top of the boiler to properly reflect the shaping of the real engine. Stuffing the L motor in the boiler must have been a fun challenge too. Overall, this is about what I would like to see with a UCS Hogwart's Castle. Brick on!

Good looking tower. The scenery and the old school black dragon are nice touches that add to the scene.

[MOC] The Red Keep from Game of Thrones
Feuer Zug replied to dman122866's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Inconceivable! That castle is insanely huge. Not only is it large, but you've included quite a bit of detailing as well. Kudos for building such a gorgeous monster. -
The little railbus is cut and spot on. I've seen a railbus similar to yours running on a shmalspurbahnen in the NRW when I lived there and thought it was adorable.

Your elevated station looks fantastic. I see fun tidbits like the conductor signalling and a red phone booth. The train itself is a fine blend of the 60051 and other passenger trains. Lots of first class seating on your high speed line. The bus is a good modern version of the classic double decker London bus.

Nicely done. It has the clean Ferrari dealership feel, with all the little extras that you would find at one. The mounting of the F-1 car on the wall is a nice touch. I would figure the Moscow store would have more contemporary cars for sale, but I understand fitting 6-wide (or 8-wide) would have made the MOC way overcrowded.

Wow! Great little shunter working on your G scale layout. The switch to PUp and a L motor seems to have resolved many issues. Your quick change battery solution is slick. Far better than having to remove the top of a train to get inside. Even the Marklin cars fit with the size and build.

Superbly executed. The residence is well detailed, and the gun fortification has the same level of attention.

Well built. I like all the additional items a real crew would throw on that you've included. How many Fiat 500s did you cannibalize for the hull parts?

Great looking field howitzer. I like the breech block details.

Incredible. You have created a steampunk masterpiece.

Sweet little coastal building for the admiral. Sadly, I didn't find the interior pics on Flickr. I'd like to see them.

Lush island for the buccaneers. Considering they have the pigs, one could assume they really are buccaneers. The stone tower and ramshackle building are well built.

Nice recreation of the old Sabre Island. You've captured the essence of the original, but made it better. Kudos.
