  1. Gorgeous locomotive and passenger cars. Creating the white stripe from bricks and plates is wonderful. I like brick built solutions and it matches the stamp. The entire layout (in your garage?) is phenomenal. I'd love to see more of the layout.
  2. I love it! Saxaphones for exhausts is interesting.
  3. That's a big bridge! All the details and the walkway under make it a wonderful creation. The locomotive really puts it to scale.
  4. Great building. The mix of Nexo, Ninjago, and various other items creates a perfect futuristic feel.
  5. Great library. I feel like this could be a part of a cloister setup in a monastery.
  6. Quite the keep and scene. All the details fit and you've balanced it well. Can't wait to see what else you've created.
  7. Grazie. These all came from bulk purchases with the stickers applied. This is one of the few places I felt they would work well. Thanks. I wanted the front to look more like a ramshackle defensive setup, not fully built up. I see them more as boards over the broken windows. I appreciate it.
  8. After receiving intel that BoS forces were using an abandoned factory as a base of operations in the main city in the Eastern Arm, the glorious forces of the PDSRE decided to take them out. Here, we see the fanatical terrorists resting inside the old building. The PDSRE security team prepares for combat. Situated in a warehouse across a vast, empty parking area for lorries, the glorious team readies the recently captured weapons the BoS was hoping to use against them. Two members of the team hold the rocket launchers, one holds reloads, while others provide security. Fire one! The first rocket hits a door and sends it inward, crushing two terrorists. Others quickly grab their weapons and take defensive positions. The next shot goes through the opening. This round isn't a high explosive rocket, but a thermobaric warhead. Somebody was supplying really nasty toys to the terrorists. The makeshift walls blow out, and all the terrorists inside are killed in the thermobaric detonation. Secondary explosions wrack the old factory as stored munitions go up in the ensuing fire. With a few rockets, the main base and supply depot for the BoS in the Eastern Arm is eliminated. Mopping up operations of BoS forces will take time, but the organization's back is broken.
  9. Please don't put words in my mouth. What I like and what others like are often different and I respect that. I'm not saying licensed themes are bad either. The nearest LEGO store to me is rather small, and over half the space is dedicated to Ideas, Star Wars, and other licensed themes. If it wasn't for the PAB wall, it would almost not be worth visiting. Even then, I have had to special request large, non-IP sets with them that are perpetually sold out online because they wouldn't ever get it otherwise. I do understand many like the licensed sets and have nothing against that. As mentioned, I also recognize LEGO is chasing the majority. It's where the money is. If they didn't do that, we might be back in the Jack Stone era of potential bankruptcy. If IPs keep LEGO making record profits, what does one person's opinion really matter? There is a vocal minority that decries the concentration on licensed properties. I normally wouldn't count myself amongst them because I rarely comment about them. I do enjoy it when kids enter their dark ages and sell their collection of Star Wars for pennies on the dollar. The parts alone are a gold mine for my MOCs, with or without minifigs. Licensed IPs have their place and I can be a vulture on the back end. For that reason alone, I don't mind them. Patience my precious, it shall be mine (in a proper Gollum voice)
  10. Great scene. Having the underground with actual scenery above it it cool. You really get the feel the tunnels are full of supplies and equipment. I'm just surprised the bad guys didn't have a few traps laid out.
  11. WOW! Super detailed and massive. That is quite the display piece. I don't want to know how much time and effort went into the rigging, but it looks awesome.
  12. Superb scene. For a small tavern, you packed in a lot of details.
  13. @Milan I'm going to take some ownership for this. I commented on the original post in the General Discussion thread that it should have been posted elsewhere. It wasn't my intent for the individual to actually go out and create two more posts, but my comment was ambiguous enough I can see why they did it. My apologies. I will try to be more descriptive next time.
  14. You'd be surprised how popular the dislike of licensed IPs with LEGO is. Your comment about half the store being licensed is about right. LEGO is chasing what's popular for the almighty profit.
  15. Here we go into the murky world of drugs, organized crime, and governments! Phase 4, we're ready.
  16. Sweet T-90 MBT. Your attention to detail is amazing. Is that a rotary hinge joint that you've got the cannon mounted in?
  17. I'm going for a shameless bump here. The rotary snowplow has 7 days left to hit 100. Can we get that many supporters for it? Thanks to all that have supported it. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/e929a3c4-6662-43ad-a075-a148ca52c7e8
  18. Survey completed. Best of luck with your thesis.
  19. Looking good. I like the way you created the camo scheme on the MT-LB, along with your method for doing the track rollers. Your AT gun is spot on. Have you considered joining the Great Brick War? Please give it a look.
  20. Neat scene. It has the feel of a small fishing village with the nets and fish drying on the line. The roof of the house is interesting. Good use of the vents.
  21. Excellent build. Small base, but it captures the essence of the scene perfectly. I love the use of both white and pink for the blossoms.
  22. I can already hear the horn. Great work first, in building the Charger, then modding it into a wicked space variant. Bet those Hazzard boys get serious air time in their jumps now.
  23. That's a powerful piece for the battlefield. Great work on all the details.
