A series of trains from a Lego Railway!

The bright green for Percy / GWR 1338 works better than the dark green. More lively. Another great engine.- 19 replies

This! This is what LEGO needs to start with to get the creative juices flowing. A basic parts pack enabling us to MOC our own rolling stock. More options for locomotives would be nice too, but I'd settle for the bare minimums right now.

Wonderful recreation of the classic feel. I love the green brick hill. How you created the curved level crossing (even with the new stuff) is cool. The billboard with explanation is perfect. Can't wait to see the full layout.

Awesome Warhammer build. I never played a lizardman army, but have seen a few at events. You nailed the feel of the army and the Slann Magepriest. Kudos.

Great scene. Plenty of details on both the road and the hillside. As mentioned, the road sign is cool. -

Looks fantastic. The level of detail you've included is astonishing. Best of luck building it in real bricks.- 19 replies

You speak logic. The marketing department at LEGO will never listen to you. Sadly, many of us that frequent the Trains forum have voiced this and similar opinions. Even something as simple as a parts pack with wheel sets and couplers is beyond TLG's imagination. It's bad enough that many have gone to third party suppliers for tracks, switches, wheel sets, couplers, and electrical systems.

Great design. I love all the functionality you've incorporated into this forklift. Having a motor in there as well makes it perfect. Kudos.
-
Quite the motor your stuffed in there. Definitely a rod for the strip on Friday night.
-
Nicely done. The transition from blue to white works well.
-
Wicked combat tank. Heavy cannons and plenty of missiles to go around. Your use of dark green makes for wonder accents that aren't gaudy.
-
Attack of the bees or Blacktron reimaged, these are some nasty looking ships. Great work on them. The colors and accessories are wonderful. The mottled yellow and black from the modified slopes along the spine are perfect.
-
Great scene. Plenty of details abound, from the beach side to the hidden cave. The ramshackle shack is wonderful with the fish over the fire out front.
-
NPU! The Bionicle mask works, it really works. The rest of the pieces make it a perfect micro scale Slave-1. Kudos.

Nice jungle scene. I like the mine detector and the poor guy digging up the land mine. I mean it's cool and all, but not as gutsy as the Ukrainian guy picking up the anti-tank mine and walking it across the road. Just kidding. It's great, even the monkey in the tree. -

Excellent locomotive. The colors work well and you have a good amount of details. The station on Ideas is pretty neat too. I like the Billund Tea sign. Supported. -
Excellent rendition of the Deep Freeze Scavenger. Combining NEXO Knights parts with the rounded curves creates an interesting and wonderful look.

They look good. Now, can you make them transform? -
Looks like a big anti-aircraft battery. Nicely done.
-
Nice mech. The blue and black work well with the grey highlights. You might want to increase the lighting when you take the pictures. It will help us see the details better.

[MOC] A path to travel, a quest to complete...

Great scene. The snow on the trees is well done and gives a cold, winter feel to it. The minifigs work well too. -
@Poodabricks These road plates are quite versatile. Roads, docks, and more. I used them to build a hardened aircraft shelter as well. I'm sure they can be used as walls too. All one needs is imagination for their employment.
-
I haven't used the new road plates to create a platform section, but have used them for other builds. I did a seaport dock and hardened aircraft shelter out of them for The Great Brick War besides a road. https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/189614-gbw-e06-–-pdsre-–-dock-surprise/ https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/189876-gbw-g07-–-pdsre-–-hardened-aircraft-shelter/ The plates are quite versatile and most likely can be used as ramps as well. They might need minor mods to do so. With the option of 8-wide and 16-wide pieces, you would have a good selection to work from. Besides, the lack of depth allows for customization of the support structure.

Shifting gears here. Unpopular opinion (at least with LEGO) - the problem with reddish brown plates breaking with alarming regularity. Even new pieces recently sourced from PAB walls are shattering on me. QC is failing.
