  1. During the football game with the local kids, the team asked a few innocent questions. Being truthful, the kids let slip enough information for the team to piece together that an arms shipment would be arriving at the port in a few days. Brotherhood of Soalon forces arrive to pickup the container. They wait impatiently for the gantry crane operator to lift the container from the recently docked ship. Waiting PDSRE forces spring the trap. The Nk-529 zooms in while Master Sergeant Mishkin appears from the sleeper cab of the Maersk truck. From the control cab of the gantry crane, Sergeant Major Gurkin rides the spreader back down to provide an unexpected angle of attack from above. "Hey meatbags!" the SgtMaj yells as he drops in. Looking up and around, the BoS terrorists notice they are outgunned and outflanked. Recognizing the lady behind the heavy machine gun, they slowly lower their guns. She already has a nasty reputation as a trigger happy, cold hearted killer. Quietly, they surrender. The glorious forces of PDSRE take the truck to an unused section of the dock and unload the truck. The container is loaded with crates of ammunition and plastic explosives, assault rifles, submachine guns, pistols, RPG-L77 rocket launchers with reloads, mortars, and a man portable anti-tank rocket. While none is the newest PSIC weaponry, in the hands of the terrorists, it could still cause considerable havoc. “There’s enough firepower here to outfit a full company of soldiers,” Sergeant Major Gurkin comments as he gazes on their haul. Major Brickinov nods his head in agreement. He notes certain elements are missing and smiles.
  2. @BrickArditi That is quite an interesting question concerning the use of chemical weapons. If you're interested in joining the Great Brick War, please review the Welcome and Rules thread. Create a nation, setup a backstory and forces, then create a few builds. After that, we can revisit your question, if you still want to pursue such an option. Nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons aren't explicitly mentioned or prohibited, but I'd like to think we play nicely here.
  3. Well done. Your design looks like the real deal. Your application of tiles gives the appearance of reactive armour.
  4. Good looking tank. I like all the detail work you got in on the turret. About the only thing missing is the airborne badge on the front.
  5. @Legownz We don't mind if you have an update and bump your own post. I've done it a few times. It's always nice to see how things progress over time too. My train shed started out decently and I posted it here. But, as it grew and became more complex, I kept the old pictures and added new.
  6. Nice adaptation. Everything looks correct and it's instantly recognizable.
  7. Superb creations. Lots of details and fun with the mechanism.
  8. I've been to that side of the canal in Amsterdam. I'm not seeing enough red lights in the windows, but the rest of the building, including the scantily attired minifigs in the windows is spot on. A gent that does custom prints in Limburg Province did up some tiles are a bit blunt, but have the same message. I got a set before I returned to the States.
  9. @ParmBrick I understand the refugee crisis, but not the war. I lived in Germany recently and saw both the good and the bad. I can't begin to comprehend those being forced out due to war and wish them the best. As for the city scene, glad I gave you an idea. Sometimes hearts and minds goes further than a bullet. Playing football with impoverished kids, then leaving food and the football can go a long way towards building good will. I'd rather not have the locals setting IEDs in culverts like your forces recently had to deal with.
  10. Great building. Your building is quite the interesting object. Superheroes and Friends will never be the same. Can't wait to see how this goes down.
  11. Superb scene. Love the jumble of buildings close together. I see the locals are getting smart, too bad they're backing the wrong side.
  12. Thanks. Camo looks great, but is an interesting challenge to make. I understand what a myth is. That's why I've noted this is one until solid proof comes out. Still, myths can have power.
  13. Fine looking vehicle. I can see the family resemblence to the original Ursa Minor. I like how the interior is usable and all the details you added. It even has windshield wipers.
  14. Beautiful design. I can see this tearing up the quarter mile.
  15. Interesting study. I like the guy with glasses and the back printing along with the one with the ponytail and the cloth tailcoat. Those two seem the best to me. Not a fan of the printing on the legs of the guy in the middle, and I'm not sure about the extra long stick on the fourth guy. The first seems rather bland on the back side.
  16. I created this MiG-29 in honor of the mythological Ghost of Kyiv. I've included the Ukrainian Air Force fin flash as the base.
  17. Congrats on being Frontpaged!
  18. Wonderful caboose. The interior and exterior detail work is excellent. The speed champions wheel as the brake wheel is ingenious.
  19. Good collection of figures and nice vehicles. The rover is great with the features you built in. The background even has the period feel.
  20. Interesting design. The color scheme and the front definitely have a Joker feel.
  21. Ok. Now I see what's required for getting better photos indoors. Lots of light and a good amount of space. The lights I can get. Space, that'll be the fun part.
  22. Nice rendition of an antique phone. Haven't seen one of these in ages outside of a Hollywood production. You captured it well.
  23. Great work redesigning the old set. You can see the resemblance as it scales up. Balancing it must have been interesting.
  24. Grazie. Building the bunker was interesting. Thanks. The photos are uploaded to Flickr. If you're attacking my photo skills, you're not going to get an argument. I don't have real light box setup or any of that stuff. When able, I try to use natural light, but in winter, that's not always a good option, hence the garage setup. I am open to suggestions on how to improve. Thanks. Yes, the new roadplates are quite versatile. I see them as big 16x16 tiles with options. If you want to add scenery, pop in a few plates. For the price, they're hard to beat for modularity. Hmm, if they made roadplates in reddish-brown and it wasn't a modern theme, maybe the deck of a World War II flattop for my next build. Oooh, or a amphibious assault ship. Another place for the roadplates to shine.
  25. @TheBeeze Thanks. I use my Samsung A51 and a blank white poster piece from Hobby Lobby as the backdrop. I have good lighting in the garage with an LED shop light, so I do my pictures on the floor there. That's why you see concrete in places. I crop it in Windows Photo. Really high tech, I know, but I get them to come out well enough for my purposes.
