Great build. It feels like 2001 A Space Odyssey. The vertical alignment of the bubble canopy parts works quite well.

[WIP] - WPRN's Sevastopol-class battleships (1/1200)
Feuer Zug replied to Max_Lego's topic in The Military Section
That's a tiny ship, but well done. NPU with the curved pieces for the hull. -
Another interesting historical find. I'm a car guy, so I find it the stand out piece of this. Nicely done.

[MOC] - 1/32 Lavochkin's La-11 (NATO code 'Fang')
Feuer Zug replied to Max_Lego's topic in The Military Section
Thank you for the history lesson on this Soviet aircraft. Your build is quite nice and has plenty of details, including the landing gear and radio aerials. -
Wicked build. Panoz had some interesting lines with their cars and I'm amazed how well you captured them.

[MOC] Safari plane (inspired by set 60250)
Feuer Zug replied to The Reader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Decent build. It has the classic tail dragger, bush tyre look of an airplane used in the back country. Good use of classic pieces to make it work, with the safari printed pieces adding to the overall effect. As mentioned by @Murdoch17, the larger two bladed propeller will give it a better look. -
Nice MOC. The starkness of the scene and the build put all the tension into the interaction between the two characters as it should be.

Good work on this "display" piece. Considering most locomotives were scrapped, it's nice to have a reminder of the past for the children to crawl over at the remains of the park.

[MOC] Northern Pacific A4 4-8-4 #2678
Feuer Zug replied to thesnoqualmieroute's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Exquisite design. Thank you for the history behind the locomotive and features as well as your work in designing and building it. -
Interesting idea and nicely done. The abilities gained with this coupler and the lack of cables snaking between the locomotive and tender is wonderful.

Amazing build. It reminds me of living in Germany. The tree is an eye catcher and then the details on the brauerei are perfect. Interior and exterior are complete and not missing a thing.

westracing01's Race Track for Modular Buildings
Feuer Zug replied to westracing01's topic in LEGO Town
Good work. The older cars have more graceful and less cluttered lines that make building them in LEGO far easier. -

There's definitely a "loco motive" with this design. Love the fun, yet I enjoy how well it's built too.- 4 replies

The car is the star of this post. Great work on a classic 1930s cabriolet design. Good mod of Sanctum Sanctorum. I did something similar with the same set.

Interesting ideas they tried back in the 1970s. The Stac-Pac is almost like an intermodal for cars.

Sweet build. You captured the original Ferrari supercar well.

[Figbarf] Jungle Warriors
Feuer Zug replied to The Reader's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice work creating these warriors from a HP set. They look good and you can't tell the original source without really having to know the material. -
Wicked! I love Group C and GTP era cars. This is perfectly executed.

Quite interesting. I think I'll leave that design to somebody more daring. I have no interest in trying to build a bunch of obscure cars to fill a rare auto rack.
