Vehicles are a big thing in my layout. I like the old 4-wide and a mix of the 6-wide City and Speed Champions cars. I tend more towards the modulars now for adding to the layout.

Nice MOC/upgrade to the original. The ability to build a second part and clip them together is great. Even the removable roof should help at shows.

Wicked aircraft. Thanks for the history behind the Tempest Mk V. The moveable flying surfaces really bring it to life.

[MOC] Snow White and the seven hobbits
Feuer Zug replied to T-86(swebrickLUG)'s topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Interesting take on the story. Nice work combining the two. -
Good catch. I completely missed the size difference of it going to 3x3. Interesting. Well, should be fun with my PAB order to see what I can do with the parts now.

Perusing LEGO Pick-A-Brick recently, I noticed the 2x2 macaroni piece is now available in trans-clear. It isn't cheap and it's the new style, but it can be ordered in Volume! Search for: 6507853

[MOC] The Green Council - House of The Dragon

Lots of NPU to create the windows and give this the proper feel. Great work. -
Great build. The power blasts as the water in the fountain is perfect. I enjoy the tranquil feel it has.

2024 update to my original 2002 passenger train - real world MOC
Feuer Zug replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Decent setup. I understand the desire to update everything. That said, with the larger locomotive, the carriages look cartoonish in comparison now. I know lengthening them would involve increasing the wheels on each one, but would help the overall feel. Maybe use the old style windows on the second class carriages and the new style on the first class to maximize your parts. Some solid pillars would help stretch it too. The color scheme works well, especially for a steam train. They do get dirty.- 8 replies

Elegant design. Quite fitting of the source material. NPU with the bathtub.

[MOC] Knight's Kingdom II: Fireball Catapult Redux
Feuer Zug replied to LordDan's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Wicked catapult. The fireball it launches it great NPU! -
Nice railside pub. Good details inside and out, especially the stonework exterior.

Cute little food truck. Reminds me of the ones I often saw on the continent in my earlier days. The colors work well and I like the supports for the awning.

Thank you. The "sharp" pieces on the nose are critical to the build for the proper look. I couldn't figure out any other way to get it close to correct otherwise.

I do have two Galidor sets with a few extra parts I've acquired over the years. My biggest issue was they didn't really go well with a minifig sized world and creations. I will admit it is fun to graft different parts and limbs onto them.

[GBW] - Free Build - Roskilde - Night Attack
Feuer Zug replied to Scorcher43's topic in The Great Brick War
Nice scene and story. The lighting could be a little more on the night shots, just add a bluish tint maybe. Lug the armour, leave the ammo in the enemy. -
Interesting modification. Not many railroad ferries are in use. I remember going on a ferry from Lubeck to Sweden and seeing railroad tracks set in the floor.

[MOC] Rock Raiders; Planet ONYXX Expedition
Feuer Zug replied to LegoMathijs's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Wicked scene. This thing is huge and is the best Rock Raiders scene I've ever gazed upon. Your integration of new pieces to keep the feel of the original theme (especially the safety cage bars) is wonderful.- 23 replies

Great design and feel for the caves. I like the themed colors on each side of the cavern. Nicely done on the droid.

Intergrating ZNAP pieces into MOCs is fun when they form a functional part of the structure. We'll have to disagree about Galidor. That is an unpopular opinion you have.

Amazing work on the Bf-109F. You've captured all the details, down to having retractable landing gear! Making is all happen at such a small scale is insane. Brick on!
