A quick foray back into GOH before I start on my SHIPtember build. Somewhere on the Avalonian coast, an old soldier of the Avalonian military is enjoying his retirement. I would like to claim the UOP credits for landscape design, trees 3/3, and for Hydrology, Flowing Water.

Looks great! I really like how you have the lower section of the wall at an angle.

Book II - Nocturnus: Guild sign-up and Discussion
BrickCurve replied to ZCerberus's topic in Guilds of Historica
Welcome! Thats one very well dressed troll Trull. Quick bit of advice for your photography, if you can manually control your camera, lower the ISO, which will make the picture less noisy. Lowering the ISO does reduce the amount of light the camera can pick up so you will need to compensate with extra lighting and / or a longer exposure time. -
Amazing build! I am surprised how well the hero factory parts work for the neck, that is something I will have to try next time I make a dragon.

Absolutely incredible builds. The level of detail you managed to achieve here is amazing! Those prefab rock pieces work suprisingly well here- juts the right amount of texture without overdoing it.

Looks great! I really like your use of sand green in the tower, the colours work really well together.

Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
BrickCurve replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Drat, my computer keeps overloading overtime I try to run my latest MOC images through Photoshop... Thank you for the 'update' that "fixes" bugs in Photoshop and Lightroom Adobe. I will hopefully sort this out later in the week, (or next week end), and get photos up by then. -
Nice one. That roof design looks excellent!

Guilds of Historica New Member Guide
BrickCurve replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
To expand on SK6's answer to question 2, you wouldn't provoke the rage of the guild who's shield it was if you explained that the shield was stolen by a bandit / thief, so it was the thief and not an innocent member of their guild that you had attacked. The black falcon shield is also often used by members of Kaliphlin, particularly Gabe, who uses it as the emblem for his island of Perigrinus. I also use the black Knights dragon shield for an employ for my character. -
Great job! I really like the steam as well as the pavement.

[MOC] A Famosa In Malacca, Malaysia.
BrickCurve replied to Vincent Q's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Nice one. You have got the shaping very close to the original. -
I absolutely agree, there are many sports that we don't have mini figures for yet and anyway, it would have been more relevant to the world in general in stead of the DFB series.

I agree, it would also come in handy for making the rough textured walls of a castle. -

Builds for the Ye Old Merry Battleground Display
BrickCurve replied to soccerkid6's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
As I said on Flickr, excellent builds that came together into an amazing collab. Are there any plans for a complete overview shot of the display yet? Most of the ones that I have seen are either low quality, or are at an angle so one can't actually see the whole layout.
