  1. Really excellent work Kai! My favourite is the Kaliphlin one, though I think I might bias!
  2. Thanks everyone! Glad the olive plants were a success! Thanks! Drat, I forgot to cover those! Oh well' I've sorted that MOC out now so nothing I can do.

  4. Great job don leopold! A new MOC of me as well!
  5. An Autumn version of one of my previous creations. I really should be building for Brickvention MOC but I really wanted to use my new LUGbulk parts! Now that Summer has drawn to a close, one of the oldest retirees of the Avalonian military has further settled down into his quiet retirement home on the coast of the southern part of Avalonia.
  6. Hopefully I can find time for an entry this year! I have been meaning to enter this contest for the last 2 years!
  7. Great job! I am particularly impressed by the fact that you managed with the weight of using such a detailed tower technique, rock work and snow that you managed to get it to stay together!
  8. As I said on Flickr, a simply amazing MOC! I look forward to your next project!
  9. There is a 20% off sale on toys at Target's eBay store. Some good deals, with sets like the Bat Cave going for $320 instead of $400.
  10. I just got the latest Myer catalogue, and they have minor sales on; Detectives Office- $209 instead of $229 Big Ben $329 instead of $349 Brick Bank $229 instead of $249 10248 Ferrari $99 instead of $130 42052 Technic Helicopter $179 instead of $219 Slave 1 $250 instead of $300 More in the catalogue here- http://catalogues.myer.com.au/catalogue/fun/14784998075619.html?cm_sp=General Merchandise SS16 WK18 Homepage-_-Homepage Our Picks-_-View catelogue#pageNo=6
  11. Looks great! I really like the lanterns and staircase, but the highlight for me is that circular mosaic it looks absolutely perfect there!
  12. Does anyone have any experience of using BrickOwl instead of BrickLink to order parts? I need about 10 of these (transparent canister from the old creator 'x pods') for a MOC I am working on, and the largest quantity I can get them in on Bricklink is 4 while someone on BrickOwl has a lot of 7.
  13. Toys R Us has a half price 70137 The Fortrex for $70. The RRP is $140. Catalogue here- http://catalogues.toysrus.com.au/catalogue/superb-toys-for-christmas-/14792806205168.html#pageNo=0&offerId=14793657881075
  14. Brilliant job- one of my favourite MOCs (from any builder) of the year!
  15. Excellent job! The wall texturing is perfect, and the round base is a perfect fit with this style of MOC. Some more 1 x 2 plates would help the landscaping look more natural. Another tree (with more foliage this time) would be good as well. Overall, great job!
  16. Looks excellent! The hull shaping technique works really well here and fits well with the slightly ragged look having the sail in seperate parts achieves. Is that the flag from the Harry Potter ship? I think that perhaps the ship would better if it was a little bit longer, although that may just be the angle the photo is taken at. The sea looks brilliant as well, I wish I had ordered more dark green and dark blue plates on LUGbulk now!
  17. Looks great! I really like the roof design, it works surprisingly well giving a really natural look to a snow covered roof.
  18. Wow, very, very impressive. Not a detail missing!
  19. The first part of my photography guide is finished! It is hosted over at the BrickBlogger. Stay tuned for part two soon!
  20. The posters are looking great! My only suggestion to add to @Slegengr would be that it would nice to have the GOH emblem on each poster, or perhaps all four posters could be joined in the middle by the emblem? It would make it it a large for easy viewing though.
  21. Excellent! I have been really looking forward to chapter V! Now why did it have to be announced on the first day of me being away on holiday with out any Lego with me at all.
  22. Nice one, it looks really good! The only thing that I would add would be some more leaves on the trees, they look a bit thin and sparse at the moment.
  23. Wow, amazing castle, rock work and waterfall, my favourite build from you yet! The only thing I would add would be some more 1 x 2 plates and some flower stems in the grass landscaping, it looks a little thin at the moment.
  24. Great use of colour for the tree, I will have to try that at some point. Excellent snow as usual!
  25. Thanks. That was the effect was aiming for, almost like a smaller scale version of the curved plate sand dunes. Thanks! Yes, the sand technique doesn't work that well for models of this size, it creates more of a pixeled effect than would look natural, it should definitely look better in a larger scale MOC, probably one I will finish towards the end of the year. Good idea, thanks!
