  1. . Yes, it certainly does! I have more of those curved plates I used for the sand dunes earmarked for my next Brick link order, so I will do something in mini fig scale in the near future. The technique works better at full scale anyway.
  2. Nice, I like the burnt out part of the building.
  3. One way is too have a look at MOCs posted for that challenge, as it will give you a rough date to look for. For example, the GoH Flickr group is easier to search through than the entire GoH sub forum!
  4. I have had no issues, though I am attempting out the day after you.
  5. Looks really great! I particularly like the gatehouses arched entrance. For any one else reading this thread, here is the main photo. DSCI0004 by Hippogryph, on Flickr
  6. Looks nice. A higher camera angle when you took the picture would make it easier to see the entire MOC. Also, uploading the photos to a site like Flickr or Brick Safe would make the viewing much easier than how you are currently doing it.
  7. Welcome to GOH! Here you are! Guilds of Historica Story and Challenge Index- Start here!
  8. I would be happy to answer a few questions for you, though I don't really have the time to write much at the moment.Sparker's idea is a good one as well. This is the official map with all the LUGs on it- https://lan.lego.com/lugs I believe this is the biggest LUG in the UK- http://www.brickish.org
  9. Nice one. Adding some brown 1 x 2 plates to the landscaping would improve the landscaping quite a bit. Also, the rock edge on the left hand side edge of the quarry is a bit angular, adding more slopes would really improve it. The landscaping looks excellent! I think a flower stem on the centre of the bushes would make them appear more realistic as well.
  10. Thanks! They do actually work really well for mini figure scale sand dunes, as long as you use a large amount of them. The technique also works really well for forced perspective water.
  11. Last question, are you thinking more on the line of storing them assembled, or partially disassembled in zip lock bags?
  12. Great job! Having the spiral staircase visible through the tower is an excellent touch. That sand dune technique also works really well. Then only thing that really needs a bit of work is the tree in the second to last MOC, the leaves are rather flat and unnatural looking. Having the branches and / or leaves out at odd angles would really improve it.
  13. Some great builds here. Some more 1 x 2 plates to add more texture to the landscaping, particularly on the ballista landscape, would really improve it.
  14. OK, thanks, I will look into it.Have you mentioned the software in Interactive GOH map (discussion)? It might be just what we need for an easy to create map.
  15. Looks great! I hope it becomes a set. Supported!
  16. It depends, do you mean sets, or sorted parts?Sorry to be picky, but its LEGO, not LEGO's. The word LEGO itself is plural. Its one of those things that is very easy to miss.
  17. Nice shaping. A black background would really improve the presentation as the white MOC would really stand out more.
  18. Great parts usage! Where exactly is that part you used for the front and chassis from? I can't quite place it.
  19. Classic and Neo Classic space for me also. One day I hope to start properly MOCing in that theme.
  20. Just to keep the photography topic active, here is a mix of Lego, Photography and Photoshop-
  21. Very impressive map! How did you make it?
  22. If it is eligible, I would like to claim the Geography, Deserts, credits with this build. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=138355
