  1. That would be awesome. A Wayne manor has been on people’s minds for quite some time. Plus, I don’t think having a themed building like that would alienate costumers because the only real deterrent would be some of the minifigs. Whether it be a Daily Bugle/Planet, Strange’s brownstone or what have you. The building would just be another Modular, more or less.
  2. I voted “pretty much neutral about them” but I probably fall in between that & “just fine with them.” I like them well enough, but not enough to rush out & find them. That & I’ve more or less stopped with CMF’s aside from ones I really like that are useful in my city or have cool accessories like the balloon animals with the clown. Except with the Wizarding World ones...I bought my first unopened case for that release.
  3. That Voltron is great! As are the others. I love that you built each lion & gave them connectivity instead of just building it in giant robot form.
  4. The noses on those three characters set them apart though, despite LEGO going without. In this case I think it’s warranted, especially in the case of the Tin Man as he has a very distinct nose. The Cowardly Lion would look weird without it. The Scarecrow could do without of the three the most, but even it was definitely noticeable given the color difference.
  5. Someone over in the ‘Second Part’ thread suggested that maybe the gang was meant to be Dimensions packs. Since it was cancelled, maybe they shoved them into this CMF series? I don’t k ow how far ahead they plan CMF series, so the speculation may be far off...
  6. I’m rather intrigued by it too. I don’t remember, but could this have been one of the “previous life’s”of Wyldstyle that Vitruvius mentioned at the piano early in the first one?
  7. Well, the creators of the movie must’ve had some serious foresight...considering that movie came out in 2014. I do love the cat as well, I wonder if it’s a WWE fan....in particular of Shaemus. All the alternate minifigs are great, I like seeing the more notable ones. What came of Gayle & Harry though?!
  8. Or.....crazy thought, they’re playing on the trope that when you retire(as we basically know Lord Business did at the end of the first) people play golf. I will never understand the weird fascination to shoehorn our president into everything... Anywho...back to business...
  9. Has anyone found the Metalbeard polybag at Target, or has it just been spotted at Wal Mart? Wal Mart has quite the assortment...but no MetalBeard.
  10. I’ve gone most years & haven’t had a problem, but I show up plenty early. Over the last few years, I’d say I see about 30 people finally piling up about 30 minutes before the store opens.
  11. The price tag is certainly a bit hard to shallow, & I love the set. I’ve only spent that amount or more four times since getting back into LEGO 11 years ago. That was on the Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker(twice), Town Hall, & Assembly Square. While I’ll have to wait until I get CG before I can make an accurate judgement, it doesn’t appear to have the same value. TH for example, towers over the other Modulars & AS’s length makes up for the price. I’m hoping my opinion changes once I build it, but that’s the biggest negative for me.
  12. Just set a price with yourself that you’re willing to pay, then have patience. Check eBay or whatever shopping site you frequent. I know it’s not much help.. but it’s a start.
  13. It looks fantastic! I could see it fitting in with the Ninjago D2C sets, the shops look similar enough(minus the dystopia). I love the known characters from the first one. Now I’m really curious to see how Squad Harley is going to fit into the movie... Also...what’s become of Lord Business?!
  14. I never did consider them part of the theme, so no change here. Reason being the minifigs are out of the norm to the other sets. I did buy a couple of the first wave on the Marvel side, though. They are fun little sets.
  15. That’s very promising. I’m torn on seeing it in theatres as I’m saving any spare money for the LEGO store trip on the first... My biggest hope is he’s in the gold & green more than just a fleeting moment. I really didn’t like his previous look, even though I get it goes with the look of this Aquaman.
  16. It’s happening...it’s really happening.
  17. What do you mean you don’t like ALL the Modulars?! One thing I am baffled by, is people saying they don’t like it, but are going to buy it anyways. I mean, I get being a completionist(I bought the “golf cart of doom” from Iron Man 3...but that wasn’t $200) but man, that’s dedication. Maybe it’s a good value for a parts pack...I don’t know.
  18. He said why they chose not to tile the garage floor...because tiles give it “too clean”of an appearance, which would be strange for a garage. I believe he likened the seemingly lack of tiles inside to all of the outside being done in an amount different from the others.
  19. Wow! Each & every scene is amazing. The details are fantastic, you captured all of it brilliantly. I love all the scenes.
  20. I believe the designer in the official video is the Octan designer. My terrible memory thinks it remembers him talking about the Octan logo in it, with paper overlaps of the two sides of the Octan circle.
  21. That video was great, it made me love the set even more. I didn’t like the darker tone to the Octan colors, but now that I know the man who created Octan is responsible for it, I’ll allow it.
  22. I think 10210 is as close as you’re going to get set wise. What you could do is expand on the Flagship. Making it more ornate like the MOC you posted & bigger if need be. If nothing else, it’s a great platform to start from.
