The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
Vindicare replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Wow, talk about going full throttle on a wave. This wave is massive & has some...interesting inclusions in there. My wallet is already hurting & I don’t even plan on buyI got everything. My condolences to those who are. -
Saw Crimes of Grindelwald. There’s a lot to unpack in this one, I’ll just leave it at that. It was amazing though.

Having just built this, I couldn’t help but wonder why the hockey playing kid didn’t have the new medium legs. Of the two colors we currently have, blue is one of them. It’s all speculation, but maybe they weren’t planning a bigger roll out of the pieces until next year?

He did. Then he boarded his ship, USS Enterprise, but was suddenly in a dogfight with the Millennium Falcon.

I don’t care one way or the other. It doesn’t lessen my excitement not knowing exactly what’s coming.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Vindicare replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
But, does Assembly Square fit into the pattern? I tend to think not, because it’s more of a special set. With a lot of nods to the past Modulars in its design. Then again, that was the only Modular we got that year. So, did they skip their pattern for a year in honor of the 10th one, or does it fit... -
HP Bricktober pack...oh, & 75955 Hogwarts Express(which I plan on returning later) On the plus side, B&N LEGO selection looked a lot better.

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Vindicare replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I’m not well versed on Technic builds, but it was a fairly creative one, as it controls the flapping wings & the mouth. -
Digging up this thread looking for opinions. For those who once bought comics a lot but now don’t, what was it that made you stop? My go to comics store closed recently, and due to the rough times I got behind a few weeks. Now as I’m getting a list of needed books for the other shop, I’m kinda losing steam. I think about chucking most of my list, but then I think about the titles I do get, I go back & forth. I do enjoy them.

Those Sentinels are killer. I’d love to see those as official builds.

Finally got my hands on this beast. This one really feels like you get your money’s worth, it’s massive! It was so fun building this set, being such a huge fan of the show growing up. Seeing the lions take shape was great. I feel personally proud as I didn’t rush this. I built it over three days-legs, body, arms.

21311 Voltron....but’s back ordered!

[REVIEW] 5005256 - Marvel Infinity War Minifigures (Bricktober 2018)
Vindicare replied to kaelthas's topic in LEGO Licensed
This is the other pack I want, and after seeing this I want them even more. Rhodes prints are great, new armor is cool. Wong is fantastic, too bad that isn’t a book though. Bucky/Tony are equally better than I first thought. Now to find some more money.- 14 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2018 Set Discussion - READ FIRST POST!
Vindicare replied to MKJoshA's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I’m gonna gush over the Porg a bit. It’s face with the mouth closed looks delightfully awkward. I can’t help but smile looking at it. It was a pretty fun build too. Wall•E finally has a friend his size to with. If if you’re a fan of the porgs, I can’t recommend this set enough. Even if you aren’t a big fan, the set is still fantastic. -
Marvel Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion
Vindicare replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in LEGO Licensed
Excited to be getting 2099....and not his is newer costume. Plus, that Spidey thing isn’t bad, as far as Spidey vehicles go. -
Definitely not...the LEGO selection at mine is pretty bad...but it is a bookstore, so... I’m hoping they’ll sell them outright...or longshot, just spend $75 at the store. That I could do easily.

75230 Porg 75215 Cloud Rider Swoop Bikes Got Han along with the frame as well.

The distribution does seem a bit whacky...as some places are already selling them. Maybe it’s a bit of a scramble because it was somewhat sprung on them?..

Possible date for the packs... Just got back from mine & was told there’s an HP event on November 17th. No other information, but she said they know about three weeks in advance & to check back on the first of the month. That makes me think we can just buy them outright, which will be great.

Venom. Story was weird, especially given it’s Eddie Venom(his story I know is from the 90’s cartoon). The plot of the story was the oddest bit, but up to that point I found it quite enjoyable. I know they had to fill in the hole that Parker’s omission left. The anticipation of finally seeing Venom in full was pretty great. Final fight was rad. Then....we get to the post credit scene... With that, this movie would even fared better with an R rating. Given what what credits scene revealed....I don’t see how the sequel couldn’t be.

Ha, that would be a great idea! Making the triangle might be a bit tricky though...

That pool table looks like a great spot for a town. It’s a good start, always need a lot of shelf space.

I can’t really help you other than to say it seems a new trend to offer up a couple sets for double points. August was HP & September was Friends.
