  1. This is pretty exciting news...I loved this show(in reruns) when I was a kid. I think this looks great. Like most, my purchase will hinge on what the final model looks like.
  2. Ya know...now that I zoomed in(on the second tree picture) it looks like it’s the new flower stems stuck into those foliage pieces. It also looks like the three stem as opposed to the five used in the Ferris Wheel set. Mystery is how is the core of this built.
  3. Definitely a bummer situation, but you being unhappy with a policy doesn’t mean the policy makes no sense. Maybe they tried the P.O. Boxes in years prior, and they had too many similar stories to what you say of your university’s mailing predictaments.
  4. While I’m obviously not alex54, take a look at the instructions for 10247 Ferris Wheel for the tree build, as he took inspiration from that. It’s the new 5 prong flower stem piece & 1x1 snot bricks.
  5. They could start with something like what they have in 10194 Town Plan’s garage, minus the pumps section. If it is a corner building, it could have a bay for cars on each side.
  6. I would say yes. Brickset also has Unikitty listed in the minifigure tab for sets. I mean...she isn’t, but she kinda is... There are other brick built figs that are considered minifigs.
  7. Selling a set of leftovers from the box I bought. All minifigs were opened to confirm. Asking $175 + shipping(which will likely be a flat rate box). Would prefer US only but willing to ship overseas.
  8. Definitely a bit overpriced, but the set is great. I just built mine yesterday. All the treats in here...8 donuts, 3 cookies, 3 pastries, and 3 pie pieces. And the name, it’s just fantastic.
  9. This is brilliant! Great piece usage here. I love the spell beam.
  10. Haha, . This would be a fun scene to recreate, I’m sure someone has built a lightsaber hilt out of LEGO.
  11. I think it’s great. This is perfect for outdoor photos, I feel. I have a few ideas for outdoor shots...but I think this would finally get me out there. Plus, Wall-E has been lonely... this guy will make a lovely friend. Even being behind on other sets, this guy may be a day one purchase for me. Great review as well. I like how you really layout the build of this guy.
  12. 40358 Bean There, Donut That- how can you resist a name like that!
  13. Wow...quite the introduction! This is amazing. I thought it stopped with the Manor & grounds...then POW! The Batcave.
  14. 60148 ATV Race Team
  15. 60182 Pickup & Caravan- kids grow up so fast...
  16. I had a little wiggle room. Just hold onto the black 2x4 tiles that hold the sections together, & give the middle a little push from the bottom(hopefully that made sense). It fixed the problem with mine.
  17. You’re using a too critical eye. There’s always liberties taken with sets. For a set this size, it’s a great representation.
  18. If you don’t build the gun, you do. Just got this set. The Batman minifig is awesome, great print
  19. I think, appropriately, Ship in a Bottle would make for a good centerpiece on a table. Also, the Maze set from Ideas would make a good one As for others, Ultimate Bridge Battle is a great looking set. Can’t go wrong with the Millennium Falcon(regular set).
  20. Not overly excited by it...for what it’s supposed to be & the price. The Cottage was the same price but had nearly 1500 pieces & definitely looked worth the price. Supposed to be in the sense that it doesn’t really read Christmas to me. The holly bits are nice, but it just needs more. I love the old firetruck & uniforms. Everything about the set itself is pretty great.
  21. I would certainly feel cheated. I had a, what I thought, sealed set...yet the minifigs were all gone. That’s not quite as disastrous as yours, but it was like a punch in the gut. Did you contact the seller about the mistake, & if so what was their response? If they’re a regular seller, this could’ve been an honest mistake. Perhaps they bought it from a store, without knowing it had been returned with “faulty” bricks in it. At least you got your money back & can order the set elsewhere. It’ll be a good lesson in patience for your kids.
  22. What a great idea! Something so simple but looks good, especially the “folded back” way. Will definitely use this.
  23. I’d like to see them go back to Green Grocer approach to interiors, fill out the business portion nicely since it’s all windows, then leave the other floors more open. Good price point as well.
  24. Pardon the double post, but has anyone, particularly in the States, noticed shipping taking longer than usual? It typically takes a week to get to me, but this latest is looking to be about 14 days. I suppose this could just be a slow shipping mistake, but man...I get very impatient, in a good way, waiting for LEGO.
  25. @SwissBrick That looks pretty good, wrinkles aside! I like it. A lighter color might be a bit more realistic, or you could try lightening it up by painting some clouds all around.
