[LDD][MOC][Micro] B-Wing - X-wing - Y-Wing - Millennium Falcon
GuyDudeMan27 replied to samlr's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I love these! Micro builds are so fun. Are you gonna tackle and A-Wing and Tie fighter next? I'd love to see a micro space battle. -
This looks great! I'd love to see some more pictures, especially the 'I am your father' scene.

This is great! I missed the trailer so I'll have to go and watch it. Any chance we could get the LDD file?

I did some experiments where I put the slopes right on top of each other. I also tried out using 1x4 slopes. I kinda had a rude awakening last night when I was playing Rouge Squadron II. I realized the snowspeeder had a weird shape. I think whatever you choose will look good.

He's referring to his battle pack contest entry. It looks really nice and works perfectly with the original X-Wing.

[MOC] EpisodeVII - Apoca AT-AT on Jakku
GuyDudeMan27 replied to markus1984's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've been waiting for this and it's better than I even dreamed! The AT-AT is absolutely superb, but the desert landscape really catches my eye. It looks so good, and looks like how a desert should. The debis really fills out the landscape, and makes it feel worn. This is really pumping me up for TFA now. Anyways, it's still a fantastic build.- 70 replies

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
GuyDudeMan27 replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I would break it up and distribute the different sections. The droids and STAP can go to CIS, and then Neyo and the speeder can go to the Republic. The ground section can just be put aside. -

I would put it with ground vehicles since it was mostly used in tandem with other ground vehicles. That and it wasn't made to fight in space, so it would be kinda out of place. -
Looks good! I love the idea of a medium capital ship like this. I'm working on trying to build something like this at the moment. I'd love to see it in real bricks.

Looks nice. Something you might want to consider is making the starfield wrap around the back of the X-Wing. That way you have two full walls of starfield. It stil looks fine in its current form though.

BJM, to make the whole BrickLink process easier, you'll need to download LDD manager and Brickficiency. You can find both in the LDD/digital forum here. With LDD manager, you can put an LFX in and get a parts list for BrickLink out. After putting that parts list in, you can see every store that carries those parts. You'd most likely need to use more than 1 store, which is where Brickficiency comes in. You can run a parts list though there, and it will give you all the combinations of stores that carry those parts for the cheapest possible amounts. I would suggest downloading the LFX for 9492 (in the same forum) and then making your mods there. Then you can go and convert it. I hope this helps you out. I would suggest the pilots from the original Republic Cruiser. They are mostly blue and look pretty similar. Then you can add some grey hair and a wrinkled face, and then you have a Valorum figure. -
First, let me say very impressive photography. It makes the MTT actually look pretty good. The mods help too. Your solution is nice and simple, and I feel like it keeps the flow of the build quite nicely.

Nice build! You have a very impressive size factor. I'd be really cool if you added onto this build a bit to flesh out the base/planet more.

This just got even more impressive! I knew you'd go above and beyond, but this is just amazing! Once more, good luck!

The files are the built models, but you can get a parts list by running it through LDD manager. Then you can upload that to BrickLink and order parts there. That's what I did for my Interceptor.

I can't wait to see!

I would buy the parts. What you could do is download the LFX of it, run it through LDD Manager, and see how much it would cost in BrickLink. Even better, if you used Brickficiency, combinations of stores would be made for you. I'd try this out and see what happens.

Looks nice! I'm a sucker for extra greebling, so this is right up my alley. I can't wait to see this done.

This is amazing! That hanger must be huge! The mini ties look perfect, and the way your captured the troopers is great. The action is very well captured, while still being able to be clearly identified. I'd love to see some other pics showing other angles. Good luck in the contest!

It looks fantastic! If that was subtly implemented into a larger moc it would look gorgeous.
