LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Oh ok. Maybe I was going off of a euro price or something. Either way, it's definitely worth it. -

That seems kinda steep. I was under the impression it was $70. -
Looks great! I love the way you made the head. It's simple, but works perfectly. I love the overall sliminess of him, especially in regards to the legs. I like the use of yellow opposed to gold, since it looks very feasible. Your R2 looks great as well!

Well, that shows you the last time I watch ANH. The whole robe/cape/trenchcoat thing is really messy when it comes to Lego. As long as we have a semi decent representation of the article of clothing, I'm good. -

I like Han too. The printing works for him, since he wears a trench coat. Obi Wan clearly wears a cape, and the printing doesn't clearly represent that. He's not a bad fig though. -
[MOC] TIE Advanced X1 TIE/X1 <+> Darth Vader's TIE
GuyDudeMan27 replied to MikeMo's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks great! The new cockpit piece makes building new Ties a joy. I love the back section, but I think you could shorten it just a tad. It looks a bit long. I love the modular sections, especially the droid and lightsaber holder. Very ingenious. I can't wait to see what else you build! -
Nice build! The Snot is used perfectly, but I would suggest having a half stud elevation change opposed to a full one. Also, the X-Wing is a bit bland, since it's TLG versions. Making your own would be really cool. Still a great Moc though!

[MOC] ATT Armored Trooper Transport Non-Canon
GuyDudeMan27 replied to tibland2's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice job man. I really like the feel it gives off. It's hard to describe, but it reminds me of throwing pieces together when I was younger. That being said, however, it's still looks very good. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not, but it looks like a squished Republic Gunship. Keep building! -

Well then. Now I can make my judgments on the Constraction figures. They all look horrible. The masked characters look best, but they are essentially pieces of armor stuck on a skeleton. If they came with a minifig, I would buy them. Since they don't, I'm gonna stay away from them. -

No. They're flame troopers. I imagine that a skinny guy out on the armor. -

The tentative date is the beginning of September, the 4th if I remember correctly. -

They will no doubt make new helmet molds. The Rebels ones used the same mold, just with new print. Upon first seeing the Sith Infiltrator, I laughed. That thing is a horrible attempt to create good slope. The mismatched grey gust makes me even more angry. Maybe I'll try to design my own Sith Infiltrator one of these days... The TFA trailer was exciting, and seeing everything in Lego form will be amazing. Now I just need to wait until December to see the movie... -
[MOC]s - Star Wars REBELS Vehicles and other Creations
GuyDudeMan27 replied to DarthTwoShedsJackson's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Looks good! I would fill out the back more, and replace the yellow tiles with blue. And maybe while you're at it, add some sort of slope piece to the front. It still looks good though! -
This is great! All mini Mocs should incorperate snot like this. The shape of the falcon is perfect, and all of the details really fill out the build. The round 2x2 bricks give this thing a really nice size, and I really like how they go the entire length. I really want to see what you did on the bottom, and that incredibly difficult episode VII mod! Also, what is the background? It looks amazing! Oh and on the topic, great photography as well!

Great build! I love the A-Wing, and you've captured it perfectly. The angles are perfect, as are all the tiny details. I think that you could have tiled the model more, but it still looks good with the studs. I love your cockpit, since it looks like an official molded part, but huge. Overall, this is a fantastic model!

The Red Five X Wing is not minifig scale. It's nearly double minifig scale. The new UCS TIE fighter should be in a similar scale, along with the old UCS Ties. -

I think you need to spend $75 to get the Yualren polybag. -
Great job! I really love all of the details you packed in. It makes it feel much more like a real ship that way. I also really like the simplicity of the design. You didn't try to make it out to be something it isn't. I'm not particularly fond of the green, but it's not that big of a deal. It kinda ties it back to the Slave I. I can't wait to see what comes next from you!

It's very easy. I've done it to mine before, along with a bunch of other mods. Just pull out the cannons and load it up with chairs. It works well if you also lengthen the troop bay. -

The Star Destroyer Microfighter is part of the 2014 Microfighter line. They should still be on TLG's website and in stores. -
I would look at Sasee Tin's Starfighter. That one had the same cockpit shape as this one, and used some tiles to create the fin. It worked really well, and I'm sure that it could be made bigger and work perfectly here.
-
It's less of unnecessary parts and more that the set you based it on is a loose representation of the Jedi starfighter style. The design of the tail fin isn't the same as most other Jedi starfighters (theirs is a more solid rectangle) and the tip of it is a bit long, and the cheese slopes on the end look kinda out of place. It's just my opinion though. Whether or not you change it is completely up to you.
-
Maybe a battle droid head? Or you could rig it to fit a Minfig head. I'm sure whatever you do will look good.
-
It looks good! There are a few bits from Anikan's Starfighter I think you could take off, but it still looks good the way it is. Your best bet for parts is to download LDD Manager, run te LFX through there, and then put the XML into Bricklink. From there, you can order all the needed parts. I hope my description is thorough enough, and great build.

You could add some assassin droid head, and make them into lights. I've ised it before and it looks pretty cool.
