  1. It is a nice book indeed! I also have it, German language original version.
  2. It is very very nice in that scale! Much better than the original although I also like the original.
  3. Very nice job. Indeed very tricky in LDD. It will take a lot of space in the real world. I did a few attempts, I got a partial turntable working but I don't have a place to permanently store it yet since it is so huge. A traverser table is much more compact.
  4. Although I think the only thing that is a little out of place is that Santa, maybe you could add something more CS Lewis style instead.
  5. Don't call out at each other @LegoSims20 and @LordVoldemort and keep it friendly in here. It is our hobby, so keep it enjoyable for each other and for the rest.
  6. Enjoy your stay Sir Orion!
  7. It is a scam, was already reported at other fan sites as well!
  8. I meant medium dark flesh as well instead of dark flesh without the medium, medium dark flesh it is more orange than old brown. Old brown is a little darker than current reddish brown, but not as dark as current dark brown. Dark flesh was only around for two years apparently mostly Bionicle parts.
  9. Works great I think! Nice work!
  10. It also depends on what type of bricks you are looking for of course. Maybe sand red comes a little in your desired spectrum? LEGO designers (from TLG) have quite some restrictions on colors. Colors play a role in what age category a set is put in but they are also limited in the amount of different colors they can use for a set. So the spectrum is becoming better (I think), but indeed still some gaps. Did you already come across dark flesh as well? There are even masonry bricks in that color: Lots For Sale: Dark Bluish Gray (989) Dark Red (492) Dark Tan (1064) Light Bluish Gray (1096) Light Gray (2) Medium Dark Flesh (1147) Olive Green (119) Sand Green (635) Tan (348)
  11. Here you go: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogColors.asp.
  12. Very nice work. Did you also do the internals?
  13. Hi Kjell, welcome to Eurobricks, please read our rules, you can present your ideas but Eurobricks is not a billboard for LEGO Ideas projects of course.
  14. Welcome Addiie, hope you will enjoy it here :) Nice design!
  15. Back to English please (like Praetorian_Guard was saying already :))
  16. Nice train indeed! The details are great as well.
  17. Here is a promotional video:
  18. It might differ from country to country and depending on how you do it. Second hand items are often exempt from tax since you already paid tax on it when you bought it unless you are in antiques or something I would say.
  19. Except for the fact that you will only use the MagSafe thing for powering the device and the TLG stuff is much more desirable for modding etc. (e.g. creating lighting solutions for your models).
  20. I think there are. 1000steine at least has a lot of sub-communities. You could ask @Dirk1313 he definitely knows!
  21. Hi 343EVE, welcome to Eurobricks! Can you be a little more specific? A picture would help. Aliexpress and parts suppliers including Mouser, Arrows, Digi-Key, etc. have a massive amount of different switches. But it totally depends on what you need, what LEDs you want to use etc. If you embed it entirely in a model you could even use a reed switch and a magnet.
  22. Still need to fix an annoying bug for version 1.1 then you can also use the app for controlling two motors on one HUB (you can also choose to reverse one or the other). Will support iOS 10+ (upon request).
  23. It is a nice and clean build. But I don't see the 'modularity' as in the modular building standard. You might want to improve it towards that, nice with LEGO that you can always change/expand. I finished the outside of a modular hospital some weeks ago, still finishing of the internals. I decided to make an elevator for it instead of stairs. I don't think it is too tall (I don't know of your other buildings of course).
  24. The part they should rerelease is the Cypress. There has been a lot of mystery around it. It is also in the LEGO games apparently (I saw when my cousins played it :)). But apparently they even don't want to reintroduce that part. Some people say well the molds are destroyed. Well they could 'just' recreate it from the original part, they make molds all the time for new parts that are more complex I would say.
