Looks great indeed!! The only thing i would not do is using too much Friends-stuff, but that is just personal.. For the rest.. really nice looking MOC!
-
Redtrooper, already any updates??
-
That is indeed XXXXXXXL....i hope you can update us weekly with new pictures... this has to succeed as it looks really great so far!!!
-
i'm afraid we have to change the topic-title into: 2017 LEGO trains
-
It hardly looks like Lego, but i really like it.. can you post some extra pictures, that would be nice!! The length is okay for this thread
-
Well, it is actually 7 wide, as you count the studs on the baseplate, 9, minus 2 = 7. Roof is 8 indeed! I've never seen it, and as i'm born in 1971, i would definetely remember this one if it was a set, being 8 years at the time!

Pretty impressive indeed.. and, for this thread, it is really long, so yes, it belongs in this thread!!

Ausini and Gaobole (GBL) trains (clone brands from China)
LegoSjaak replied to Hugo's topic in LEGO Train Tech
It is pretty sick how they tried to copy the Maersk-train... so sad those Chinese cannot come up with a design by themselves.... -
Thanks Abel and Khemical! Yes, the insides/interiors are totally restructered and redone, mostly with bricks that were left over from the two sets that i used for each XL-modular.
-
I'm not fond of the color white for buildings, but you've been doing a great job! Are there some interior pictures??
-
Great work, i love the trainstation a lot!!!
-
Look at the light bluish grey cones, shouldn't they be the same?? (Edit...i see it wasn't an original set...)
-
I would stick with the dark orange... it is a nice variation on the other colors used for modulars!
-
I like the purple tree too...

Dirt would be sure a concern for me too. As long as it is dust only, that can be removed pretty easy, but dirt from the exhaust from your car or so....hmmm.. I cover up my layout after i worked on it with a large sheet of thin plastic foil, which i stapled to 2 pieces of 2.5 meter long wooden broomsticks...maybe you could do that too!
-
I really like these cars!!
-
I love that VERY long HE....and the cars run smooth, that is why it can pull so many cars!! Great train!!!
-
Great work...love it!!
-
What if you would use an arch piece?
-
I was wondering if the background picture with the Elves and Christmastree could be changed to something for a bit less christmassy look... there are so many nice picture that would fit here.. Best regards, LegoSjaak
