  1. As long as you do not live in the Groningen Area, you won't suffer from any earthquakes...but if you do... ... (Note: in Groningen are many small earthquakes due to natural gas that is pumped out of the ground!)
  2. Well, if thát would be true...... But i'm pretty sure, say 99,9% that this couldn't be true... haha! If there is a square, it will be small, as TLG knows that a lot of people keep their modulars on shelves or other limited spaces....
  3. Okay, that will look nice!! Looking forward to pictures when you finished you MOD!!
  4. Ah, so you hoped it was already done completely, including roof and inside walls... Maybe the guy who made this corner-facade ran into some difficulties and took a picture and after that made the Original building..haha.. We'll, i made my own XL-version of the Brick Bank, but that isn't a corner building...so hopefully someone else is willing to create a nice cornerbuilding out of his set(s)...
  5. I hope it is one large building on baseplates that cover 48x32 with an extra 16x32 park beside it.. I hope that they're focusing on the building, not on the park, or square....
  6. Well, at least we can expect something different!! I'm pretty excited... although i hope it isnt a square, as i have one already...
  7. Haha...after taking the picture i used the floors for 3 separate buildings.....
  8. They used two light bluish grey hinges; two 1x2 plates, connected as a hinge... I also see a DBG hinge from the same type and a hinge from 1x2 bricks in Dark Bluish Grey as well in the roof section...why couldn't this work...the steps is resting on tiles... and only the hinges hold the middle of the facade above the main entrance!
  9. Or do they mean some kind of park to assemble a square of modulars.....maybe the park is an extra release, besides the regular modular?? Hmm..i'm getting pretty excited!!! I would say the same size as Pet Shop...
  10. Now you can order parts to make this....
  11. Yes, i can.. googled it: http://ldd.us.lego.com/nl-nl/gallery/d146a5e0-9dfa-4128-a75a-e419bde51123?index=3&searchword=10218
  12. I guess you mean something like this, Chubbs? Found it on Flickr, posted bij norm.fm and there is only a picture of the facade...
  13. The first of october would be a perfect day to release some information about the new modular as we all enter the weekend that day...so, lots of time and opportunity to share, like and dislike the first discriptions of the new modular.. I still stick to my Bakery, and ordered 7 Seagulls in advance, so they can eat the breadcrumbs, falling out of the delivery-van..... Nesquik, i didn't get up last night to check if there was any news already...
  14. Should i set my alarmclock at midnight or do we have to wait a bit longer than that?
  15. Oh no, like i said: Personally i think a bakery would be a good choice with a lunchroom on the first floor! Large window with lots of detail around it. New mould door with printed stained glass in it! Small delivery-van included.. lots of detail with a large oven and shelves with pastry and bread, croissants and so on. The lunchroom upstairs offers place to 8 visitors and look cosey with nice colors! The roof can be reached with stairs and has a small building on it, covering about 6x8 studs and has a fire-exit and a large cage with new-mould pigeons in it.. Two deck-chairs and a little table complete the whole building! Minifigs: ofcourse the baker and his wife selling the bread. The lunchroom has a waitress and a man with two kids. The delivery van is driven by a guy dressed in white and a blue/white checkered shirt... It is really worth waiting for...!!
  16. ..i see it pretty clear in front of me, to be honest...
  17. Within a bit longer than 3 months, i should start building my XL version of the new 2017 modular....there should be rumours very soon now... Personally i think a bakery would be a good choice with a lunchroom on the first floor! Large window with lots of detail around it. New mould door with printed stained glass in it! 18. That is looking great.. i only wish it would be in minifig-scale... !!
  19. I'm glad the Pizza Van seems to be some kind of foodtruck..that can open a side. it is just what i was looking for! I also like the very low dark-red sportscar that comes with one of the police sets... looks like a racer-kind of design!
  20. I made a nice Pet Shop MOD...
  21. I really know how this employee feels....... i'm just walking in, and started EB as one of my first actions here at office..haha.. ! I'd rather be in my attic, building a Lego chair, in stead of sitting in an office chair like i'm doing right now.. The chair looks really good, maybe you could do a desk as well, and some other office-specific details? I could use it to redo my BrickBank office-floor... (wow...i wasn't able to upload pictures to EB for a very long time.. and now.. YESS)
  22. After the first pictures of the next modular, i always immediately start planning en drawing how i can make an XL version of it.. that is already a lot of fun to do.. After getting the new sets, it still is a suprise of how things turn out! Solving architectural problems is also part of the fun....but sometimes difficult! I hope there is news on the new modular this weekend.... the wait was long and hard!!
  23. Hmm..Jopie....please warn us next time for these horrible pictures... aargh!!
  24. Last year, i sold my complete Winter Village collection.. a month later, the news was spread about a re-release of the ToyShop. I'm not considering selling my complete Modular-collection, so, statisically, there will not be a re-release of any Modular... My feeling is there will be a Modular Music-Shop.... guitars, drums, piano, trumpets, vinyl and so on.... Complete with street-musicians! We'll see...
