Hello. I decided to build the crawler for trial. So far only the chassis is ready, but the model will be updated. At the moment there are only a few photos. The drive two XL-motors, one for the axle. Servo motor for steering. I would like to hear the opinion of experienced builder of trial trucks. That's all. Thank you for your attention.

solution to negative caster on unimog type axle
z3_2drive posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Hey everyone, back with a smart solution to the negative caster on axles with unimog ball joints, and a compact start to a chassis with two xl motors. I scrapped my old trial truck start but it was too complicated, and I need to stick to simplicity, with less gears and weight pics: ^while testing strength, I underestimated torque and it pulled my finger in...still hurts I guess it will help steering and just look better, and maybe suspension will twist/compress better... hope you like it! -

Hello again, this is part 2 for my 8x8 TrialTruck. First part was design and optimize the truck virtual with Lego Digital Designer. You can find this topic here: Pure 8x8 TrialTruck Now, that I´ve got all parts received that i need (and can´t wait any longer for x-mas ), I´ll build the truck in real. This is where i wanna get to. This will not be a step by step building instruction with pics for the truck. Only want to show you, that I´m building it.Have fun watching. (more pics in my flicker photostream) Greetz Markus -
Compact Uniknick design
Morj posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Somebody (legomuppet9) asked me to publish compact uniknick steering/articulation part (based on Mbmc design published in this post). Well, here you go. It's still untested in a finished truck, but no gear cracks or clumsiness under manually applied stress. Being a bit lazy now to build a truck around it, need inspiration. Obviously, the intended use of this center part is to connect battery and cab to the inner half of the turntable opposite to the steering motor (the front one) and to connect powered axles to outer (gray) halves of the front and rear turntables. P. S.: brickshelf folder with high-res here.- 1 reply

V-LC-21C Hi everibody, I'd like to show you my latest MOC. I build it after I bought the old model 6335 ( http://www.brickset....ail/?set=6335-1 ) So I decided to build up a modern version of it, making it wider (6-7 studs) and replacing the three F1 cars with 5 go-karts. What you think about it? Other pictures here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/346765 http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=516732 Any comment or suggestion is welcome! Bye Teazza

Dumptrailer
Stephen Provoost posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I made a dumptrailer (not yet finished) for the truck i've copied from Jaap. (Very nice truck btw). It uses 1 m-motor for the legs and 1 m-motor for the linear actuators. I must fix the lifting of the bed because it's a little bit heavy. hope you like it. Stephen
