I'm looking for someone with the SDCC BrickHeadz
jamie75 replied to legolijntje's topic in LEGO Licensed
Has anyone made stickers for the exclusive pieces? Those would be awesome! Jamie -
An UCS AT-AT is something I wanted too. But, as someone who has built one, I don't think Lego will ever make one. It was a pain in the @$$. So many issues!! If they do make one it will be smaller like Anio's. Not minifig "scale" like cavegod's.

This happened: https://www.lego.com/en-us/aboutus/news-room/2013/january/reaction-to-criticism-of-lego-star-wars-product As for Slave Leia: http://www.breitbart.com/big-hollywood/2015/11/04/disney-pull-star-wars-slave-leia-merchandise/ I'm not going to give my 2 cents, don't want to get ban! Just want to help you out!! Jamie

This is one ship I wish Lego would do again!! They have come such a long way since the original in 2002!! As for your MOC. It looks great!! It has an updated, beefed up, 2002 feel, which you can't escape using those curved slope pieces. Very nice, Jamie

Sweet, maybe we will get lucky and Lego will release one. I have worked on one on and off in LDD and can't ever get it right. Thanks for the heads up, Jamie

The Lego Store in Troy, MI got 12. I got there about 5 AM and I was number 12. 13 showed up about 10 minutes after me and waited in line anyways hoping someones credit card didn't work. While she waited in line they had their laptop out and were trying to make an order, plus she was on the phone. Felt bad for her!! Don't think she got one. The guy who was number 1 got there at midnight. He kind of cheated, since he works at the mall, not the Lego Store, but somewhere else. So when he got out of work he just started the line. Mall security was there and was cool. They hung out with us for a while. Talked to everyone. Held my spot in line while I used the bathroom. The staff was awesome, giving us freebies. The brochure, 2 of the 3 prints, and a couple of polybags. They didn't have any of the Episode 7 print, but they had the 2 from Empire, asteroid field and space slug. About quarter to 10, they started letting 2 at a time in the store to make their purchase. Out of the 12 they had, 8 had wheels. Mine didn't. Carrying it sucked. Drove an hour and half back home. Took a nap, now I am off to build. Wish me luck!!

Skydiving, bungee jumping, parasailing, and white water rafting. I would love to do any of them again!! If I had the money I would love to try a hang glider.
-
Personally, I would love for Lego to do an A-Wing or TIE Bomber.

Anyone going to pick up the new Falcon on the 14th in Troy, Michigan? Can't wait for this set! Shoot me a PM!
-
Next Tuesday, is there going to be another teaser or the "official" reveal for the new Falcon? Thanks, Jamie
-
No worries. Thanks for adding them! Jamie

Still only 5.

Hans worked on both the UCS Slave 1 and UCS Assault on Hoth. But for you old timers who have been around for a while, he also has/ had his own site. Which hasn't been updated since he started for Lego, http://brickcommander.com/ . If Hans is working on a new Falcon, it will be good. He has been building for years!! I have traded emails with him as well LDraw files. He's a good guy! He also goes by the name primus on brickshelf. Not sure why he uses 2 names, never asked! While Slave 1 was not perfect, it was still a great set, IMO! He should be able to do wonders with a Falcon. Hopefully figured out a way to make a solid frame with an interior. If it is anything like the old Kenner Falcon with half of an interior, I'd be happy. Jamie

Just checked you Flickr and nothing new? Same 5 pics as before. As long as you are adding pics, maybe add a few of the wing up and hinges if possible. I know I said I got the idea, but, why not!!:) Jamie
-
No, I think I understand. Thanks for the offer!! Jamie
-
I figured you started with the idea to use those Technic joints, but, wasn't sure how well they held. For the weight of the wing, you would probably need about 6 per side, maybe 8. Using Technic liftarms, like 32348 or 6629 may be a better idea with the weight of the wings, but, then they would be static. Thanks for reply, Jamie
-
Great job!! Do the wings move or are they built to stay in one place?? What did you use to build these? Lots of hinges or Technic liftarms? Thanks, Jamie

I have twin daughters. The pic is of me holding my daughter Megan on the left and my wife holding my daughter BriAnna on the right. They are 10 now, but, I don't want to change it. I think it is my favorite pic of them.

Did you just do the outer shells or is there a frame inside too? Any plans of sharing your LDD files? Both you ships are incredible. Thanks for sharing. Jamie- 29 replies

I hadn't heard of this one yet. I swear if you don't check this thread several times a day, you miss something. Hopefully it is something like Anio's!!

[MOC] [Instructions] UCS Zeta-class cargo shuttle
jamie75 replied to Renegade Clone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Maybe a stupid question, but, is it possible to display this on a stand? I haven't seen a pic of it on a stand. Wouldn't mind displaying this next to the shuttle. Is there a spot to insert a stand? Thanks, Jamie -
Geez, for me to drop that on one set is going to be hard!! I'm hoping for at least a small interior, similar to the original Kenner Falcons from the 70's and 80's. Just the back half under the exhaust ports. Any news on piece counts??
-
Are there LDD plans for this or did you just order parts and use the Force? Jamie

If it has an interior and it looks like they tried to make the exterior different, I will happily buy it on day 1!! If it is a rehash of 10179 with a new set number and limited details inside, I will have to wait and see. Still not sure about the new Death Star?! But, a set costing $800, with a PPP ratio of .12ยข comes out to about 6667 pieces. So, this could be, not only the most expensive set Lego has produced. But, the largest! If the 6667 piece count is anywhere close to the real set. Minus the 5179 pieces in the original, that still leaves 1488 pieces for an interior. Here hoping!! Jamie
