  1. I've done exactly this. It's relatively agile model and could be fun to play with, but lack of physical controller is real pain. I'm planning to buy some cheap BT controller and try it with brick controller2, hopefully it will solve this.
  2. Some very nice trucks in all scales My experiencies in building trucks are bit low, but here are some: Still technicaly unfinished Tatra 148 S1 plus it's brother - cable excavator d032a - maybe I'll finish them some day to level I'll be satisfied with: And recently simple alternative MOC from Audi RS Q e-tron - Dakar truck

    GAZ 66K

Well, using buwizz or different tires is in "legal" category for me, because it don't directly influence, how is something build, it just add more power, or more authentic look. Cutting, or 3D printing, on the other hand can change directly building process - you can build, what would be impossible by original LEGO parts. In case of those planetary hubs it's bit of gray zone for me - you can use hubs without planetary reduction, which have needed shape, or you have planetary hubs, which have different shape of connection ports. It's pitty, that LEGO don't made those planetary hubs in shape of those from Audi q-tron. It would be problem solved.

Congrats to frontpage, your MOCs have always high level of autenthicity. I'm not fan of cutting, but in this case I somehow understand it.

    Museum

I've tried to build something new for my digital microcity project. Inspiration was East Slovak Museum in Kosice. Scale is finaly slightly bigger, then my other buildings, but not too much. I've made it in LDD/studio.
  6. It looks like renaissance of 42039 set. Some interesting alt builds was added on rebrickable in last couple of weeks I like your simple trailing arms. It would be interesting to add there driving somehow.
  7. After couple of months of hiatus i have built something new - alternative model of set 42039 - hotrod - with free instructions
  8. It's about a time, since I've been ended my dark ages and now it looks like my way will be rather smaller attempts and "projects", then bigger and more sophisticated ones. My older builds had their own topics here and here, but I don't think that all of my next builds will be suitable for separate topics, so I decided to make this one, where I have intention to add all of my publishable builds. And for the beginning, here is my wip small manual buggy. Buggies are favourite Technic builds, there are many of them in all sizes, shapes and qualities. This one is intended to be small and simple, all manualy working. Now it has front and rear suspesion, openable cabin, steering and rear wheels conected to fake engine. I'd like to improve rear axle suspension, add HOG and steering wheel and some details here and there. And finaly adjust color scheme, although I'm not very disturbed with this clor vomit in this type of vehicle.
  9. I've made instructions for that last one hotrod. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-22886/muffinbrick/hotrod-alt-42077/ Now it's time to build "twin brother" from 42039 :) I wonder, how it'll look with different colour scheme, bigger v8 engine and overall different set of parts(more gears, some missing links and specific panels etc.)
  10. After last year's mini dark ages with some small trips in different LEGO themes I've built something new from technic. Now it's alternative model from 42077 really car - hotrod. I've used both front and rear axles from A-model, as well as fake engine and seats with some small adjustments. It has obvious functions - independent suspension, rear wheels drive, fake engine, HOG steering and openable doors.

MOC - muffinbricks alternates of 31070

Thx :) Finaly I made instructions for Hotrod
  12. Here is my alternates of nice set 31070 - turbo track racer: First one is older, Racing truck - for which I also share LDD instruction here. Second one is actual build - Hotrod. Instructions will be shared soon.
  13. I've seen it on rebricable. It looks realy great, maybe i try to build one. Thanks for sharing instructions

    Digital MicroCITY

Hallo, I've made some digital inspirations for future project of our LUG - MicroCITY. Inspiration comes from existing blocks of flats built in our city in 1950s, modified and adjusted to fit in modules of 32x32 baseplates. Built in LDD, rendered in Bluerender.

    Digital MicroCITY

I decided to use this old post to add some new dogital builds in the same scale. First one is inspired by St.Michal Chapel in Kosice.
  16. Your C-models going better and better. I'd wondered, how you have done backhoe with limited count of actuators, and you've done it great. You deserve special C-model tag for those rows of C-models ;)
  17. What do you mean "smaller size"? It has 2500+ parts, 42054 was under 2000.
  18. This one is two studs narrower, then standard configuration.
  19. Plus 1 to this. Other then that, it looks nice, most of all I like rear axle and overall shape. I would put HOG on the rear frame of the roof, but it just matter of taste and it's good as it is, too.
  20. This is how it looks from the side, without and with BB. Maybe I'll try to put rear shocks one stud higher on the body later, but now I'm ok with how it is. Thanks As I've said before, your Class 1 buggy was one of my inspiration to build something with two L-motors. I'm really happy, that my theories, how to improve it's capebilities work well. There was some points of struggle to build it, as I wanted, but most of them I solved somehow, so I'm optimistic now to finnish it in short time.
  21. There is some progress on my RC buggy, it's not finnished yet, but I've made improvements on biggest performance issues. First of all I've shortened wheelbase(one stud in hinge of rear arms plus steeper angle of them). I've completely rebuilt rear arms. They are now stiffer and hinged by small turntables from inner side plus pin from outside, independently from driving axles. Now there is lot less friction in drive. When motors are unconnected, buggy rolls rather freely, when you push it forward. Before those changes it stopped almost immidiately. I also made some changes in front axle. I canceled front wheels drive, mainly because of poor steering angle. Now it's way better. I also adjusted position of suspension springs and their connection to body and arms. They had tendencies to bend, actual solution is better, although it's still not perfect. There are still lot of work to do, most of all I need to find proper position of battery box(and necessity of rebuilding frame little bit). Other than that is just to put somewhere M-motor for steering, finalize roof and make some final additions(steering wheel, seat, maybe driver :)) And finally I'll have to find som ways to lower weight.
  22. Nevermind, my post was reaction on Silvavasil's post, but I was too slow in finding image of that part. Yes, from those new pics of rallye car it looks like those panels are medium blue more likely, then dark azure. I can't tell, if it's good or bad, it mostly depends on every AFOL's collection. For me it's better, because I don't have 42070 and don't plan to buy it(maybe only if price will drop significantly unde 200€).
  23. No, it looks like this: which is not new. Edit: I'm too late :P
  24. I don't know, if it's just me, or there is no big LA on MACK A model, but two of them on B model
