Yes I tend to build characters in the proportions of action figures and try to keep them without studs showing. Thanks for the compliment. Thanks

This is great, the details such as the tracks and the desert trees really sell the overall image. Love the muted colours too

Thanks, I think the new spiders are way more creepy that he old ones, no pun intended Yes he does look like Basil Many thanks Reaper. Much appreciated, I got a little kids torch with coloured filters to add some spooky glows to the picture because I don’t know how to do that in photoshop yet BTW like your dynamic robot figs you did recently Thank you, I worked pretty hard to get this one right, I am glad you liked the results.

Most appreciated I spent quite a long time getting the shape right looking at sets of armour. I’m glad I bought those big curved slopes, it’s the first time in four years that I used them. I got them for one of my first mocs. Many thanks as always peedeejay those Harry Potter sets are great buys for new parts.

Hello all. After getting the awesome Ultrakatty set and having the little system built Duplo alien sitting on my desk for a week or two I thought it would be funny to incorporate it into a larger moc. I got out my nieces's Duplo bricks and this was the result of a few hours of building on Saturday. Beware the mutated might of the hideous Duplo Beast! Hope ya like it :)

PaddyBricksplitter replied to kaelthas's topic in LEGO Licensed
I went to the shop and looked at this. still haven’t bought it though. It is cheap for a UCS set, that’s a bonus.- 13 replies

Hey all. I recently got one of those Ninjago spinners and some bendy pipes (25214) which to my mind means one thing, a classic robot build! Behold the clanking, atomic powered might of VOLTAR!

Nice, like those cars/ships.
-
It may not look it but this took a few hours to build I’m pleased you like it

That took ages to find the right part to go inside. I thought you might like this robot Thanks, you are really too kind

Ah, I really want to get some of those new pieces thanks
-
Nice. Really like that upper torso. Is that a new piece used for the lower jaw?

I love the rocket and the telescope the best. I must try to build mocs like that someday.

Hey all. Here is my latest MOC. It is a microscale sci-fi city, or rather two cities bound together as one. It was Inspired by some of my sci-fi favourites like "Things to Come", "Battle Angel Alita" and as Digger of Bricks pointed out to me “Metropolis”. Hope you like it

Thanks EVE, I wasn’t sure if people would get or even like this build, you described what I had in mind so I’m very pleased you like it

The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)
PaddyBricksplitter replied to Trekkie99's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
Me too. Perhaps if Benny's space squad sells well we might see some more in the future? -
Glad you like it, it must have taken me a hour to sort out all my bley technic pieces with a few handle bars thrown in to fill it up Thank you very much When I was building this moc I had in mind modernist architecture from the early 20th century. I thought it would be a good way to do contrasting styles utopian versus industrial, but still keep the whole thing consistent.
