Nowadays, we're working on the adjacent square, with the goal to complete it in a few years. We will be posting updates very soon. As for the MOC itself, we chose a 1:75 scale, so that it could be populated with minifigs, without being too huge and expensive. The Cathedral consists of about 9600 bricks. Some techniques were inspired by others' works, while some were developed for the purpose of maintaining the most possible similarity to the real Cathedral. Hope you will enjoy! Every suggestion is welcome! FBros
JopieK Posted August 19, 2018 Very nice work. Did you also do the internals?
FBros Posted August 19, 2018 Thank you! Unfortunately, we didn't. The MOC was indeed conceived to be enlarged to the whole square and it would cost too much for now.
Bricked1980 Posted August 19, 2018 This looks a beautiful model. The close up shots showing the architectural details look great. Look forward to seeing your updates as you progress with the rest of the square.

Man with a hat Posted August 20, 2018 Impressive. Good job! The front facade is beautiful.
paupadros Posted August 20, 2018 Really beautiful! I really like the triangle on the façade, the part "held up" by white pillars. The tower looks marvellous as well, especially from the white section to the top.
peedeejay Posted August 20, 2018 Great build! Great detailing overall. Would love to see a few more detail photos of the tower.
FBros Posted August 20, 2018 Wow, thank you so much! I will provide more photos of the tower asap ;)
greg3 Posted August 23, 2018 This is an excellent build!! I love all the textures and details (especially at the front) and the little patches of other colours give it a sense of age and make it look even more realistic. (I like the bike too!) Looking forward to seeing more... thanks for sharing.

neonic Posted August 26, 2018 Looking great, all those details and stuff. I always like such buildings. Only thing I think it's a bit odd, is the white parts at the front. It looks a bit 'new' comparing to the rest. But that's my opinion. I also like all those 'weird' stones and other colored stones. It gives it an old look, just what Greg3 said. Cool bike too
