Oh dear, my wallet is going to suffer. This has to be the most detailed, massive, and accurate set Lego has every released. It's almost the size of that guy's body! Going to have to save up a lot of money for this one.

What are those two bits that come off the two mandibles of the Falcon? The bits that are replaced with the rectangular dish?

They did an outstanding job with this.  The interior is actually a lot better than I thought possible, and the greebling is well thought out.  The stickers are regrettable for something this expensive, but at least the dish is printed.

Now I have to figure out what to do with the old one :)

Watch the video and it shows they attach to the front as part of the TFA build.

The price... is a tough pill to swallow.

Well it is a lot cheaper than the old version and has a lot more pieces at least  The scalpers are bleeding money now

Ok, the underside is better than I initially feared! The overall model is definitely something to behold. Is the laser holes graphic besides the radar dish the only exterior sticker?

But the minifigs are seriously disappointing. Yes the animals are nice to have, but character wise nothing new or exclusive, not even armprinting for one of the figs (like Han).

Han and Leia are exclusive but I agree, more Original Trilogy figs would have been nice or some more printing!

Well this is beautiful! Brilliantly detailed, though the underside looks perhaps a little plain in comparison.  The interior is a really sweet touch, though I would have wished for it to be a little more extensive.

I really want to see the interior skeleton, and get a look at how the frame compares to the original...

Lego can't win! When the Super Star Destroyer came out, people were complaining about the exclusive bounty hunter figures it had!

I love when they described those random Porg figures like "yeah we don't know the names or anything but they'll be in the next movie so here they are anyway"

There is SO much much amazing detailing and greebling that I think you could look at the set for days and still find something that you didn't spot before. There is also something charming about the simplicity of those vents. Love that they extended Leia's printing down to the legs too.

Alright then how about they throw in more figures that are not exclusive, like R2D2, Obi Wan Kenobi or the C3PO with both Arm and Sideleg-printing?

Looking at the gun turret picture, it looks like it might be pretty similar.  They would have had to make some changes to get the depth needed for those interior areas though.

I did I just don't know what they are and why they're added to the TFA build :)

£650 is a steal for this UCS MF.  Also, as I have no interest in the prequel trilogy films, I will sell the porgs and Rey, Finn old Han.  Anyone know if they are exclusive to this set or just normal versions?

Porgs are exclusive, but not Rey, Finn and old Han. When the guy said it has a lot of exclusive figures I thought maybe they had new detail we had missed, but he showed Han, Leia, the Porgs and then the minifigures were zoomed away.
