  1. It's free. There is Eurobricks topic on it and you can find the link to download the latest version there. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=109972 There is a user interface to select the LDD file you want to render and the settings for the render.
  2. Excellent job. It reminds me a bit of that elevated train in Germany. The video is very choppy on Flickr. Do you have one on YouTube?
  3. Blue Render is great for quick renders but it doesn't render the lines between bricks. So it is harder for someone to reverse engineer what you created. LDD2POV (POVRAY) is better at rendering the lines on bricks and transparent pieces but it is much slower and probably should be only used for the finally "money shot" or contest entry render.
  4. Thanks for doing the tutorial videos. They have been fun to watch. Congrats on baby. Get all the sleep you can now. I had some hybrid combination of bluetooth to arduino to PF train going. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110202 You can use multiple IR LEDs to strenghten the signals. I ran my IR LED without resistor and it bounced pretty well off my white ceilings. It is risky for blowing the LED but I have other old TV/DVD remote controls for salvage in case.
  5. Welcome aboard. Nice intro and fig. May have to use your shipyard for repairs after battles.
  6. Excellent scene, style and posing. I am not sure about the window view, there seem to be dark blue bricks blocking the nice view.
  7. I ordered a bunch from China through eBay last year. Free shipping took about a month to arrive.
  8. Welcome to Eurobricks.
  9. Welcome aboard.
  10. Very nice capturing the curves of the prototype. Would it have been possible to put in some steps in the dark grey part of the control cab?
  11. Excellent. Do you manually throw the switches? I see you figured out how to deeplink videos on EB.
  12. You can also do a price and shipping sanity check with LEGO Pick A Brick and Bricks & Picks. Sometimes it comes out cheaper ordering some things from LEGO in certain quantity. Shop.LEGO.com have free shipping above a certain dollar value. If the goal is to save money, then comparison shopping is worth the effort.
  13. It is possible to 3D print LEGO compatible pieces. You'll need access to a 3D printer or 3D print service.
  14. Good work on the Amtrak phase IV and phase paint scheme in double header.
  15. Great idea and money maker. Laws in other factions may prevent such establishments.
  16. If you have some custom requirements that the train motor can't handle like powering three axles on a truck. Your MOC would have to have space to fit in the PF motors and transmission gears if you decide of mount motor horizontally or gear up or down the motor output for more speed or torque. It is much easier to use the PF train motor whenever possible. Which country will your display be based on? That will influence what your loco will look like. It can be steam or maybe early diesels around the WWII timeframe.
  17. Chewie, we're home. Nice shot.
  18. Bananas? I hate bananas! Did someone swap out the contents of the chest?
  19. Nice little ship. I see you have your sails rigged. I like your installation of cargo holds. The lighting looks like you're trying to avoid pirates by sailing at night. You should order your crew to swab the deck.
  20. I love a wedding with an open bar. I think I had too much rum. The first couple of photos look blurry. Good work on the floor. Are those tiles stacked horizontally? I may have to pirate the idea.
  21. Thank you. Thank you. Those pre-fab seems to make a good starting base to build upon. Thanks. Thank you. Good luck with your rigging. Thank you. Thanks. The Sea Rats don't mind you sailing into her. It's really no problem at all. Thanks. Originally I had it with gun port doors hinged up but the modified plate was causing problems for gun elevation. I'll have to make the railing at least 1 plate higher on the next ship. Build and learn. She doesn't like questions about her eye. Thank you. The white hull pieces came from the Friends Dolphin Cruiser set. It was fun walking up to the cashier with a big Friends box and smile. Thank you. It's a start to still much learning in ship building. The bulky rear is all the better to hold more booty.
  22. It seems like a device using 3.3V electronic ciruit. To run old PF motor at 9V, you'll need some sort of motor driver unit to connect the motor, 9V battery box and WeDo together.
