  1. The ghost of Christmas future. Anakin uses his Force vision to see into the future. Day 358 of 365: A Christmas Carol by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  2. They should be back some time in January. I think they normally shut down for the holidays. I guess to provide more resources to handle the customer complaint line with all those new LEGO present people are getting.
  3. Dalek Xmas Bauble by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  4. Congrats to the winners. Thanks CopMike for running this.
  5. Very nice. It has a bit of that Steampunk feel to it.
  6. Welcome Steve.
  7. 1. Lizard guy. lizard man habitat by dr_spock_888, on Flickr 2. Purple dinosaur. 3. Guy in dog suit.
  8. It would be the same as using third party parts like weapons from BrickArms. Your MOC would not be 100% LEGO. If you're entering a contest, then it depends on the rules of the contest. Some permit the use of 3rd party parts, others do not.
  9. Very nice. I think they run SW1500 engines.
  10. Well done. Would love to see a car flying shot. Did LEGO ever licensed Dukes of Hazards?
  11. Looks like a lot of fun. Does the texture paint help keep the tracks from moving?
  12. Merry Christmas to you. Your train looks familar...
  13. Welcome to Eurobricks, Daniël. Nice truck. Do you prefer North American style?

    Wecome aboard, Dylan.
  15. I made one in System and used some Technic axles and worm gear. You could also add a chipper to make it complete. Day 097 of 365: Are You Feeling All Chipper Today? by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  16. Day 356 of 365: Street Racing by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  17. City trains have been on a 4 year cycle. The previous releases were 2014+2015, 2010+2011... Next would be 2018+2019. Hard to say without insider information.
  18. Vader's Xmas present to the Rebels. Day 355 of 365: Missa e-Vader Bomba by dr_spock_888, on Flickr
  19. I would also suggest grabbing the pieces you have available to MOC and experiment building something out of them. It is much better way to learn, IMO. LEGO building software do not take into account of physics like gravity or clutch power. You could end up with something that won't hold together if transfered to real physical bricks. With software it is easy to use pieces you don't have, thus having to spend more money if you want to turn the design into real bricks.
  20. I can build faster now than when I first started. Unless there is a deadline like a daily MOC for a daily photo or training for a speed build contest, it is not necessary to build as fast as you can. Some times it is good to slow down and smell the flowers as the saying goes.
  21. You could replace the bucket on the A model with forks so that it is different in function to the B model if you're building both. I rarely see telehandlers here using bucket attachment. Here is my MOD version.
  22. Welcome aboard, Jack.
  23. If LEGO is drinking Apple juice, then product development is very secretive and controled. Not all employees will know exaclty what is going on, outside of the select few. Even with NDAs, they might have a need a to know policy.
  24. Just be confident of yourself. Grab the sets off the shelves and go pay. No problemo. You can always say for your daughter or neice if you are not totally comfortable.
