You can use this form to get a listing all the property license forms you have submitted under your username. Hope that helps.

Will there before other natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis? Blackbeard did blockade Charles Town, North Carolina. So there is historical precedence for pirate blockades but Blackbeard lost his head over it.

Calling Volunteers! Eslandola Vs. Mardier - Build Off
dr_spock replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
That's a good point. Pirates/privateers were always on the lookout for a bigger and better ship. They also converted captured ships into warships like Blackbeard turning his captured French slave ship into the Queen Anne's Revenge. They had carpenters adding more gun ports and other blings. -

Calling Volunteers! Eslandola Vs. Mardier - Build Off

30 DB to gain 550 DB of ship licenses (5A + 2T). A more appropriate incentive would be to offer the NPC volunteers 550 DB from the ESL coffers if they win. Or at least 50% of license values (275 DB). -

Nice work "Captain Dee". She does look much more desirable to the local pirate community.

Can you please provide a link to the "before" upgrade Sulky? Also provide some details on what the upgrades were? -
Careful, you may end up hanging by your toes off a palm tree. The clarification should be compared with the revelant section of the rule and added if it makes sense. Or the rule rewritten so that the ambiguity is removed. At least summarized in the leadership forum so that leaders can review or be aware. This is also useful skill to have if you ever plan to start a LUG with Bylaws and Meeting Minutes..

Any colour blind LEGO fans on here?
dr_spock replied to Boettner Builds's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I did the same thing too. I noticed the oops after I published my photo. LEGO was a lot easier back in 1970 when they had only the basic colors. Skunk @ Island by dr_spock_888, on Flickr -

There are a lot of little rulings made here and there. If they don't get officially recorded right away, they get buried and misplaced under a bunch of posts.

Very nice. It is strange to see a GE unit riding on EMD Bloomberg trucks in your prototype pic.

Calling Volunteers! Eslandola Vs. Mardier - Build Off
dr_spock replied to Kai NRG's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Maybe you can add a condition to the privateer service contract that if Eslandola wins, they will return the two ships they captured from the Sea Rats on the last MRCA. -
Cool. The turtle made it to the end of the course. I can think you can make it more Friends-ly by adding Emma and Stephanie figs into the seats.

Welcome to aboard. Awesome work. I ordered a NodeMCU a few weeks ago after stumbling on them too. I am still waiting for it to arrive from China. It would make development work (programming and testing) much easier. I found the also can pick up the magnetic field from the PF train motor. How do you mount your servo motors to the track switches?

Oh no. Lava looks nice. I can see the black light in the reflection, no photoshop trick there. Although, it looks like you tried to photoshop out your reflections.- 11 replies

1. Personally I find it easier to work with physical parts. Plus my eyeballs don't feel like they want to pop out of my eye sockets from staring at the screen. 2. I use LDD under Windows if I am entering a contest that requires LDD entries instead of physical builds. 3. For parts, I buy sets, Pick A Brick, Bricklink, LUGBULK, fellow LUG members. Since you're new, I'd suggest to try both digital and phsyical and see what works best for you.

Why not? A Sea Rat signed up for Eslandola is going against privateer? -
[SR - FB1] The Life And Death Of Captain Morgan
dr_spock replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Excellent entrance. Approvals were never required for free build #1 and #2 of the month. Only for #3+ but that's no longer required with the new rules. Nothing to say you can't still ask for them. -
I don't think I've heard of whale oil being used for cooking oil. Rat fries could be what the crew will be eating if rats got into the ship stores. I think unspoiled and unsoiled food was a big challenge with long sea voyages. That and getting scurvy. Better to peacefully hand your ship stores over to the Sea Rats than the furry rats, I'd recommend.

Neat idea with the USS Monitor's gun turret design which was around the end of the age of sail. The ship has the look of a cog which preceded it by a few centuries. I think you have cleverly spanned the age of sail with one build. Please remember to submit the ship license form so she can sail with the Sea Rats in the next MRCA.

Gunnery Drills Aboard The Dark Lightning
dr_spock replied to gedren_y's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
NPU on the sails. It doesn't take long to render the LDD with Bluerender. It would certain help with the presentation. This only took a few minutes on my old AMD PC. Bley does make the ship harder to see. Stealth tech in BoBS?
