Thank you all very much. Thank you for the reminder. Ok, I can try for the next captured ship. Thank you very much. Being a Technics builder, I have those half bushings coming out of the whazoo. They also come in bley colour. I don't think I am the first to use them that way. Thank you very much for raising your feedback. Would an aft triangular sail make it a hermaphrodite brig? The LEGO sails are a bit small to fill that space. Custom sails may be the way to go. Is there an armament guide available? I came across a British ship rating based on number of guns but they don't seem to list the type of guns. It would be interesting to add to the MRCA ship building guide. Thank you very much. I put ratlines on my first BoBS ship. They didn't come out as nice as this time. Curved sides is on the list of things to learn to build. Thank you very much. I used to live in Boston. I may have had some USS Constitution (which was launched in 1797) influence on how I picture sailing ships...

The Best Technic B-Model
dr_spock replied to AOW's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
8228 B. It has held up well being on display all these years. It needs some dusting though. -
Good work. Hopefully no more MRCA leaks.

BoBS IT Dept I suspect it was Phred.

Thanks everyone.

Also 8282 is a real LEGO Technic set.

Thanks for the review. The pictures are very nice. I recall the orange balls also used as basketballs in the Friends sets. The mechanism is kind of similar to some used in "rock the boat" GBC modules. It is probably possible to modify with holes but then the balls could jam up the mechanism unless you build a ball return underneath. You'll need different sizes plates. That's the fun with LEGO, you can change it to your liking.

Best Weight Loss Diet Fat related deaths are actualplus they are occurring every day. Take note of what stick to it and you need to do daily currently when I mentioned earlier. The longer you wait the faster the earth could be vacated by you! I have earth in my butt. That puts me in a rut. It hurts to vacate my gut. So I am going to try smut.

Maybe if a project is rejected because it is too close to a number of the products that the LEGO Group already has today or has plans for the near future, they don't want inadvertently to let their competition know what they have in their product plans by publicly announcing those reasons.

You could also build in LDD if you bring a laptop. Are you trying to keep up with your Brethen of Brick Seas builds while traveling? -
Double VIP should also be online too.

Non-vehicle sets & MOCs

Some silly stuff: -
Whaling was a perfectly acceptable occupation back in the era where BoBS takes place. Whale oil was needed for lights and lubrication. It was highly dangerous. Many whalers were maimed or killed. From the whaling ship, men went out on small boats to harpoon the whale and whale would pull them on a wild ride for hours. Maybe some occupational healthy and safety fine in the EGS, if the roll of the die is losing crew or injuries. I guess the whaling ship can always run into hurricanes and pirates too.

[Cor - FB2 March -Ship] A mysterious little boat
dr_spock replied to BrickOn's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
You definitely squeezed in a lot into your chibi styled vessel. It is very cute and could star in its own children TV show. I like the inclusion of the new LEGO stud shooters for functional swivel guns. You'd better watch out for pirates. Apparently they like to shoot anything small. -

Freebuild #2 Mar 2016 Great Scott! The White Skull captured a 3A ship in the last MRCA. The ship is called the Great Scott. Presenting my MOC of the captured ship to make use of the license. She is armed with cannons, swivel guns and blunderbuss. Great Scott by dr_spock_888, on Flickr The rigging was hand laid. The ratlines were a repetitious knot tying endurance test on the shrouds. MRCA build of the Feb. MRCA results Captain log, Bastion, star date 3-616. Today we received our copy of the latest Kings Ports Advertiser and Ship List. It is reported in the paper that the White Skull had saved the Le Dindon from a pirate attack. Le Dindon arrived safely at port with all her cargo intact. We found an artist rendition in the paper of the White Skull protecting Le Dindon from attack and fighting off the pirates. It appears that something was lost in the translation to the paper's outsourced graphics department. It is also reported that the White Skull had later captured a pirate ship. It was rumoured the crew surrender expediently after Susieh Cheng dispatched their captain to shark bait status. We are looking forward to the return of Susieh with her booty.

March Freebuild 1 Can't MRCA without guns? Sweating under armed? That's why Bastion has an arms dealer in a totally non descript white building peddling his ware to whomever can pay. Patrons are not required to show ID or fill out any government forms or submit to background checks. He likes to be called "George". "George" has a fine selection of muskets, pistols, cutlasses, dueling swords, barrels of gunpowder and even body armour for sale. Right now, he has a spring break special. If you buy three, you get a free night at the Bastion's House of Pleasure. Don't miss out on this limited time fabulous offer. Just look for a plain white building down the street from the House of Pleasure. All sales are final and tax free.
