Can anyone actually confirm if LEGO destroys their old, unused molds or not? It's been allegedly stated that like, BIONICLE's old molds no longer exist but it'd be pretty stupid for LEGO to just destroy molds when they don't know what they'll need in the future, as well as be against the entire concept of LEGO to just permanently discontinue parts. I also remember when talking of the Ideas space suit thing being redesigned, they may have mentioned molds LEGO didn't have or use anymore.

Since its introduction in 2011 CCBS has evolved in many interesting ways that, especially since 2014, allowed us to understand how far can the system go. In 2016 we had for the first time two themes fully coexisting througout the year: BIONICLE and Star Wars. Both offered a wide range of builds and techinques, with the winter wave of BIONICLE creating a unique blend of CCBS and Technic and SW crafting models close to perfection. And while the BIONICLE summer wave for this year contains the controversial beasts, Umarak and Ekimu are respectively the first G2 titan and a perfect blend of 2015 and 2016 BIONICLE builds. On top of that, the recently leaked SW sets make it seems like the bar may be set even higher. In short: do you think we're living the best CCBS year as of yet?

Since I already posted about this twice on BZPower, I might as well also post it here. One of the many wacky foreign and non-canon combiners G1 of BIONICLE had was this often liked diddy that mixes together the blue, red and black Rahkshi into one staff wielding warrior. What you may not know is that there were apparently other models that came from the same Brickshelf gallery it came from that were not used in the (Western, at least) LEGO magazine it appeared in. These are more... out there, to say the least. And when asked if they should also be include in the alternate model database back in October, Volitak_Boxor said no because they weren't, to out knowledge, LEGO-sanctioned like the Japanese model was. Until now... While browsing on Google, I came across this old BZPower news archive page that shows the picture of one of the combiners and lists it as being one of four "Inspired by BIONICLE" creations available on BIONICLE.com's Builder's Section without instructions but rather a single image, and also that they weren't seen on the LEGO Club website. So I went through the Wayback Machine for the Builder's Section page around this date and did indeed find four "Inspiration Models" without images saved. And clicking for a close-up gave more information. "Inspirational Model #1" uses Turahk, Vorahk & Guurahk so it matches the magazine-published combiner and states "Tip: Use the Rahkshi shoulder parts to create the body of this imposing character.". "Inspirational Model #2" uses Panrahk, Kurahk & Lerahk so it matches the BZPower listed image's combiner and states "Tip: Use Rahkshi back parts to create the long arms. Remember that good balance is the most important part of this model!". "Inspirational Model #3" uses Onua Nuva, Pahrak-Kal, Pohatu Nuva & Nuhvok-Kal so it must be the duo combiner and states "Tip: Using Onua Nuva and Pahrak-Kal, you can create the silver version of this Ape-like creature. By combining Pohatu Nuva and Nuhvok-Kal, you can also create his golden-faced twin!". And "Inspirational Model #4" uses Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal so it must be the remaining combiner and states "Tip: Combine the various limbs of both Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal to create extra-long legs!". So in terms of obscure and goofy, but LEGO-sanctioned combiners, we can also now add these guys to the continually growing list.

This is pure speculation, no reason to hyperventilate. As this article clearly statesHero Factory wasn't exactly the hit LEGO hoped it to be, something further confirmed by the fact that after two years on the shelves the danish company was already thinking about replacing it (back in 2012, with BIONICLE of course). With the recent surge in CCBS popping out in System themes like Super Heroes and Star Wars I have the feeling that LEGO is testing as much as possible to see if CCBS may be profitable in other ways rather than the easiest one, aka by a CCBS-only theme. Now, the real question is: in case BIONICLE doesn't reach stellar sales, on HF levels if not lower, do you think that LEGO may pull the plug and let CCBS live only through System themes? Or they'll bite as long as they can with new themes until they hit the jackpot? (please note: I'm assuming for the sake of discussion that BIONICLE G2 will have average sales, I'm not stating it currently has average sales)

Since this summer, Lego dedicates each month to a particular BIONICLE element on the LEGO Bionicle Facebook page, where they post concept arts and MOCs. I was inspired by Corvin's first MOC, published in July to build a display base for Tahu, Lewa and Onua on Mecabricks. August was the the Month of Fire, so I've started with a modular volcanic area for Tahu, the Master of Fire : Each module is build on a 16*16 plate, and the different modules can be rearranged in several ways, as you can see on the renders above. You can see every angle of the model with the 3D viewer on Mecabricks. Then, I've built another MOC in October, during the Month of Jungle. This time, it was an environment for Lewa, the Master of... Jungle. This one isn't modular, I didn't have much time, so I've built it on a 32*32 surface : My favourite part of the MOC is the stone pillar with the writings on it. I also really like the dragonflies, and mainly their heads, made with a Friends heart. You can see more renderings here, and view the MOC in 3D on Mecabricks. Finally, in November (the Month of Earth), I've built a cave for Onua. I knew since the beginning of my project that I would include some crystals, but it's only when I saw Matt Betteker's fantastic artwork that I decided to add a Nuva Cube, with Onua's Nuva Symbol. In the meantime, I've improved my rendering skills, which allowed me to make the crystal glow : Again, you can see more renders in the Flickr album, and see the model in 3D with the viewer on the Mecabricks page. Enjoy ! Note to the Mods : I didn't know exactly in which section put my MOC, so if anyone wants it to be in the Constraction forum, or in the LDD forum, then feel free to move the thread.

Hello. Quite a random model for me, I wanted to built something different, but... So i decided to leave anything as it is and post this to separate topic. Typical for Le-regions Rahi, little robo-butterfly. Their food is nectar, they have no real nature enemies, except some birds (Hukamanu are too lazy to catch them :P). The only interesting thing about Mangupepeké is it's glimmering. Also some of you can remember Blacktron for some reason. Any comments are welcome!

Let you know that I am not going to like this promo set at all, now we got that over and done I am going to make the review of the 2006 Good Guy that was a Swedish Disney Promotion and it didn't appear in the Bionicle Storyline. Set name: Good Guy Set Number: 6934 Pieces: 16 Year Released: 2006 Here is the Bag and there is nothing new just like all other bags but there is one thing, you see that weapon he have... keep a eye on that weapon. Instruction: The instruction is nothing new just a normal instructions that have the island of Voya-Nui in the background and the build is just like all other but the weapon Is Not The Same As What It's Shows In The Front Of The Bag And On the Upper Right Picture Of The Instruction. I mean did someone find this to bug them because it do bug me, if they what to use the Fire Bladed Piece then make a new picture not the one that used the the piece from the Staff of Disintegration. Anyway the Back of the Instruction just have the Toa Inika and that just about it, the instruction is useless so you can just use the back and put it on your wall or something. Parts: Here are the Parts, to me they are mostly useless but there are 3 black Axle 2 Notched and a Metru Head with it's Trans-Neon Green Brain, so those are really good parts to use for MOCs and you also get 2 extra pieces. If you what to see what the Parts are go to Brain Line to see what they are called. The Set: A: The set is just nothing good, it's bad and mainly only good for parts. The front and back is just flat and boring, you can hardly make a awesome and good poses then just make it look like he needs to go to bathroom Really Badly (know what I should have made a Picture of that, Good Guy going to the bathroom). B: The size make it up to Tahu Mata Leg and it's just a small normal lazy build promo set. Riaso: KILL IT BE IT'S TOO LATE overall this is just a lazy build promo set and just only good for parts but to me most of the parts are useless and I don't know why they made something like this because we have seen some good Promo sets before. So I am going to give this set a 4/10 so I don't recommenced this set unless for parts because they is mainly what it's good for.

Released in Korea only were apparently two exclusive Piraka "Kaita" sets, combiners of each three that resembled Irnakk. One looked like this: And the other looked like this: I can't seem to find any higher quality image or anything else surrounding this set. Can anyone help out?

I was bored, so here this is. Idk if I will do it for the other toa or even the protectors, but here this is. Here I have with me is my Toa Onua Mata from 2001. Despite not being the first set I got, despite not being one of the high priority sets I plan to get, he is perhaps my favorite of all the sets. There is something really cool about him having two clawed arms with the function and- well wait STOP! *tosses Onua aside*[actually sets Onua gently aside] I do not have a 2015 Onua in my possession, but what we all have right now is the new, early promotional images. For this reason I will not compare & contrast 2015 Onua's image to my physical Onua, but rather this other promotional image of Onua Mata from 2001. (Both will be at the bottom of the page for your own comparisons). And not just the image of Onua Mata, but promos of every Onua iteration to date shall be compared. That is the theme of this, not to look at the sets themselves here just the images for fairness. This thread was mainly to share my thoughts on 2015 Onua compared to the other iterations of him, and is also for discussion focused on him and his many forms without any other toa or characters involved. There are a lot of things can be discussed about the pair of clear images of Onua's set, but not enough room in Official Bionicle 2015 for all of them. This is pretty much an examining of ONUA THROUGH THE AGES Armor (The Medium-Length Section): Head/Mask (The Shortest Section): Tools (The Other Shortest): Build/Shape (The Longest One): So, did I miss something? What have you noticed about Onua? What is your theory on his arm's? You don't have to read my Wall of Text, but go ahead and run what you do read through your own judgement. Another MOC, errr... Replica... emmm... Revamp... whatever made by me. It shows my interpretation of Lord of Skull Spiders (huh, name such like from HF >.<). I made it about month ago, but I'm lazy and I publish it here now. For more photos click this link to the gallery on Flickr. Thanks for attention. Comments and criticism are welcome. -H.unter

A retired Glatorian of the Jungle Tribe, Kanura! After the Shattering she participated in Arena Matches for a relatively short amount of years before she decided she wanted to be a guard for Agori caravans and expeditions. Her helmet is unique among Glatorian, it's actually connected to her head and flows through her back. She calls it "hair". During her days in the Arena, she used it to augment her headbutt's, this known as her signature move "Hairbutt". Wielding a Vorox-inspired spear with a Thornax Launcher attached and a small throwing dagger, Kanura has become a seeker of adventures. She was the most requested guard for any Agori caravan or expedition but one day she disappeared. She said she was going to Bota Magna and most people took that as a joke seeing as how Bota Magna was separated, but she was never seen again. Did she make it? Did she perish on the way? No one can tell except for Toa Lewa who's about to find out. Which is better - BIONICLE 2015 or HERO Factory?
Chimaninja454 posted a topic in LEGO Action Figures
I'm seeking opinions in which you would like? I like BIONICLE 2015 better, but I do miss William Furno Feel free to write as I gather opinions as I find BIONICLE 2015 is way better.. :) Politeness is appreciated, but rudeness isn't welcome! :) P.S: It's my very first topic here in Eurobricks, which I'll start! :D -
When fate gives me a large portion of the day to myself, I get to messing with things; Inspired by the recently-leaked pictures of the 2015 Protector sets, I made this: The old Turaga known only as The Wanderer has been traveling the Matoran Universe for countless millenia, never stopping in one place, and remembered by few. Shortly after the final defeat of Makuta and The Reformation of Spherus Magna, he vanished completely. It is said he was last seen in a small southern village, arguing loudly with a Matoran named Velika. The build is nothing special, just a quick duplication of the Protector torso design, and it's intentionally obscured beneath the cape. The head is attached via this piece, and a rubber band hidden beneath the chain clasp holds the hooded cloak (a Knight's Kingdom cape) in place.

This Toa Fortress was invaded by Frostelus and the stone was stolen by the Piraka in the confusion, as the Toa team that guarded it died (except for some loser who went on to... *script-checking noises* set the stage for 6 of the world's most important heroes). *cue mlg sad music* But what if Frostelus never attacked and Makoki Stone guard team never died? Well in this universe, the Brotherhood of Makuta still wanted the Makoki Stone badly, so they hired a team of Toa mercenaries to defeat the Makoki Stone guard team and gather the stone, and thus began the Toa Civil War. The Order of Mata Nui stepped in and hired a team of Toa mercenaries themselves to help the Makoki Stone guard team combat the Brotherhood's team. When they did well enough on their own, the original Makoki Stone guard team was disbanded and the members went to various other locations. As the battles escalated, the Dark Hunters saw profit in this and secretly offered both the Brotherhood and the Order help, thus effectively managing both sides of the war. The Dark Hunters sold both sides cutting-edge weaponry, Kanohi, armor (color-coded for the Dark Hunters' convenience) and information on the other team's moves. Thus the story brings us to our star for today: the Order of Mata Nui's team's doctor, a Toa of Plasma who simply calls himself "Medic". Only select members of the Order know his real name. His weapon was designed by himself and built by the team's engineer (who also calls himself "Engineer"). It is a modified fire hose from Ta-Metru's forges that shoots a beam of elemental energy that binds together its target's mechanisms and makes them run better than usual, thus repairing any damage. When it's used, it builds up charge (that the Medic calls "Übercharge" that, when activated, makes its target (and the weapon's user) invulnerable for around eight seconds. It also has different settings for different effects, such as one that enhances its target's vision, accuracy and reflexes to the point where they can consistently land practically flawless hits and one similar to the base setting but sacrifices invulnerability for low passive damage resistance (which jumps to very high when Übercharged) and much faster charging. He wears a noble Hau that glows when he Übercharges someone. Not much is known about the Medic's past as a Su-Matoran, other than he was his town's doctor and made groundbreaking discoveries in repair, when his patients survived. Now as a Toa with access to the Order of Mata Nui and the Dark Hunters' vast armories and workshops he has much more healing potential, but he seems to view healing as a side effect of conducting his dangerous experiments out of curiosity. One can tell his maniacal laugh is not for discovering a quicker way to repair damage from a minigun. Anywho, without further ado, meet the Medic!

He wields an Order-issued Flamethrower that can store air in the tank and burst it out at the target to blow them away. Pyro doesn't have a proper Kanohi, just a powerless makeshift mask similar to Hydraxon's. In a mad quest for knowledge driven by curiosity, we used an experimental mind-reading machine that the Order had laying around to see inside Pyro's memories. What we saw was a bit strange, we think the machine malfunctioned. We saw a colorful land full of rainbows and unicorns where Pyro was shooting strange baby-like Toa with rainbows, bubbles and lollipops. It's a bit strange, so we'll discard that. Without further ado, meet the Pyro!

Basically, this is intended as a general topic for MOCs and concepts of G1 sets redesigned to match the CCBS aesthetic that G2 uses, as suggested in the G2 Bohrok Concepts thread. For the sake of not having duplicate threads, please post Bohrok revamps over there.
