  2. Now this is Bat-tastic........all the detailing and how it has that movie feel to it ........Bat-Brick On 'WetWired' !
  3. AWESOME modular 'redyap'......that giant brick built guitar is the bomb ! Brick On 'redyap' !
  4. I just found this....... And that is not a gas pump but an electric car recharge point........and look at those realistic looking tools and green cabinet !
  5. By the sounds of it, this month is the best month to buy Lego......not the mid-year sales anymore. Now Big W join the battle with a stack of city, creator, SH and SW sets for 15 bucks. https://www.bigw.com.au/bigw-catalogues.html?gclid=CIGEjNaS8cECFcGTvQodMkQAZw#view=catalogue2&saleId=7489&page=17
  6. Now that is an AWESOME train 'nebraska'......it would be a wonderful sight to see if running on a track. Brick On 'nebraska' !
  7. Now that is a neat truck, classic town feel and very practical in a snow storm......the garbage must be collected ! Brick On 'dr_spock' !
  8. AWESOME piece of machinery you have created there 'Htrag'.......any more coming ? Brick On 'Htrag' !
  9. From the 12th to 24th at TRU.......
  10. The logos on the cars have nothing to do with Lego at all, said logos are just advertising to pay for the race team not branding of toys.
  11. AWESOME work 'LegoJalex', I really like the rundown white building and all the little detailing as well.......Brick On 'LegoJalex' !
  12. Okay, so I have been told Myers will have maybe Lego trains as part of their next toy sale starting at the end of the month. Plus Kmart are having another Lego sale.......20 bucks for 28 dollar city sets and the bike shop/cafe creator set for 74 bucks.
  13. More sets are becoming available at TRU USA......so more images.
  14. Thanks '3BF', that is a technic part commonly used to make engines for SW sets, etc., I discovered the other use for them by chance. I'm not planning to build anything new for PB until next week the earliest.......but I have been known to change my mind ! Hmmm, I need an ice creamery for the beach going families to visit......keep watching !
  15. The little vet clinic is a must buy for my wife......she loves cats and dogs, plus watches any vet shows on TV/pay TV. Now the cool hairdresser's building......awesome use of SNOT and yes, a touch of Art Deco......depends if my wife likes it or not ?
  16. That would mean building a golf course ! They could be real estate sales people ? No, Sunday after church will do.......I only have until Friday afternoon to have all small details completed.....keep watching !
  17. Excellent rocky outcrop and waves in the ocean as well '3BF'......Brick On !
  18. AWESOME try at getting the Little Tramp right 'monsinjor'.....excellent scenery - perfect for the time period......Brick On !
  19. I need some advice everyone, since I have started populating my main street I notice most of the males are in suits.....so should I set the layout up as Sunday morning after church ? Of course then I would need to quickly knock up a church building......what does everyone think ?
  20. Lego wouldn't be Lego if they didn't contradict themselves !
  21. The time of night the show is on in Oz is 7.30, considered family view time so this set will appeal to adults and kids.......only thing for the geeks missing is Doctor Who and pity Kr-eo has it....but Star Trek would complete their lives ! One would guess it would be just the main characters in a typical setting similar to projects one......but we'll have to wait and see.
  22. Nice work there 'princeofgonville', it looks like rush hour doesn't it ? Brick On 'princeofgonville' !
  23. The choices made.....well, one was cop out.....Birds, oh, creator is already doing various animal build sets currently. Though I wonder how many birds you can make out of whatever pieces you get ? Next the original Beauty & The Geeks.......I'm not a fan of the show, but it does have a huge fan base world wide (not sure if it's bigger than Doctor Who's though ?)......but just picture all the MOC's of comic-con's people will be able to make eh ? My gut feeling is not so good for Lego Ideas any more, the only way you'll make it there is with something geeks will love and that's it........my guess for the next review.......lightsabers, why ? Price point......note the size of most of the projects released as sets minus the female minifig set are roughly the same size or below a price point. I very much doubt a UCS or modular building would ever make it. Worse, none of my projects are geeky enough......so they will disappear in less than 180 days forever, with a whimper not a bang.
  24. I have never seen a display merchandiser like in the images for any of the collectable minifigs.....only display stands I remember and one of was for the old impulse box sets from 2008 to 2010. From what I can see the disco diva looks a little she'll start singing I will survive ! The lawman of the wild west looks like he is about to step onto the set of Gunsmoke ! Dam, pity we can't see anymore......especially the carpenter and hot dog man......gee, I wonder if he is a hot dog vendor or a guy dressed up as in a hot dog suit ?
