I think this is the fastest Lego has produced images of a set just weeks after the review video......looks interesting, doesn't really interest me as I'm into town/city.....though they would look nice up high on a shelf.

HELP! San Francisco Victorian House Painted Ladies
lightningtiger replied to kevin8's topic in LEGO Town
That's okay, you totally need a local for what you want......there are only front views of those town houses.....again good luck.- 10 replies

That's okay Mr Fry . I once was working on a shopping complex but it was too big for NM.....like 120x120 stud ! I'm now quickly working entering the winter contest.....I better not let out what I'm doing ! And thanks for the comments 'ShadowWolfHount'.....that is one of my early computer screen designs, they'll get updated again when I have more cash. Keep watching ! (Oh, if anyone didn't notice those black mail boxes in the front wall......do work as mail boxes, the flaps open to slots to hold letters)

HELP! San Francisco Victorian House Painted Ladies
lightningtiger replied to kevin8's topic in LEGO Town
If you use Goggle Maps and look around 979 Grove St you see the steps going up behind those houses. Best of luck 'kevin8' !- 10 replies

I agree, you need more village structures and Santa's workshop should go in a different layout but you would need to make it bigger.
-
Aw, that little Santa train is so cute and cool ! Are you planning on expanding it next year ?
-
Your wife did a great job building a church......any images including the rest of your winter village ? Brick On 'technic70s' !

Well, Babylon 5 series they still had a postal service for parcels. I might build a new postal van...not sure yet. Keep watching !

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Well, the cottage was intended to be family home hence the size, though I'm hoping for more village buildings coming back next year......but my son would love to have Santa's Workshop.....loves Christmas themed stuff more than anything else. There are so many buildings they haven't done yet, but us AFOL's have come up them instead........maybe we should be the design teams at Lego ? -
You could buy the new City de-construction sets shortly and knock down your least favourite modular then the DO can go in it's place......just a suggestion.

Simpsons 2015 Rumors and Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in LEGO Licensed
I've got a feeling Lego won't stop at two collectable minifig series for The Simpson's.....so many characters and versions they can do, but my wallet isn't going to like it. Some of those heads in that picture yesterday all lined up.....might be from this year and next year.....jumbled up to confuse us. Though I can't wait to buy Snake.......oh, please Lego.....Fat Tony and his offsiders....please !- 1,195 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
lightningtiger replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
So is that a feeling, guess or you know something that we don't ? -
Thanks 'tedbeard', I only thought of the ladder Sunday morning and the newer wheel barrow stand was an accident.....somehow a wheel barrow wheel got stuck in the black pantograph piece and it went from there Sunday night. I must work out some fresh minifigs to go in there and the other two interior redo's.....keep watching !

Yeah, know I remember.....must have being installed by Doctor Who when he traveled back in time ! The TH was an odd one out as it's design doesn't fit the others......apart from the TH they all look early 20th century USA.
-
Not bad, though it's missing detail above the top floor windows.....a bit plain. Brick On LDD On 'Fish777' !
-
I agree legs are easier to pose the minifigs in different locations in the set. When you look at all the modulars you see no modern tech.....no TV and alike......judging also by the limo and fire truck......yep, stuck in the 1930's for sure.
-
I took more interior shots in natural light so I hope some of the detailing might look more way say.....natural. Keep watching ! Link to Australia Post Office - http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=102726

It's great to see more than from everyone for this set.....though I've noticed a few things. One is no drain pipes on the back of the building.....that would of added an extra play feature to do with the crooks escaping from the Candy Cops.....sliding down the drain pipe. . Two is the females not wearing skirts, women wearing slacks I don't think started appearing say around the early 1940's but I could be wrong ? I'm still going to get this set and I'm planning using what's left of my green grocer to build something to go next to it.

Thanks 'WarSquirrel', I only need to go to Aussie Post to pay bills or buy stamps......though it's interesting to them selling sewing machines, dvd players and kid's gardening kits ! In one respect selling odd ball products could lend more towards gift buying and then sending them via Aussie Post.......clever thinking.....maybe.
-
Thanks and I do try basing my designs on real life......so where is your post office 'SeanJFry' ?
-
Not much different here........ But inside.....a bit more red, hues of different grey just to break up all the white......Keep watching because I'm planning more changes. Simpsons 2015 Rumors and Discussion
lightningtiger replied to Sir Brickalot's topic in LEGO Licensed
True, but my Green Grocer didn't have any special new parts.....only it seems since the PR and now DO that those $$$ sets come with new fancy parts so you never know. That squishee cup could be also in the Friend's range next year ?- 1,195 replies

You could copy the fire escape from the Green Grocer.
