Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Yeah, our dollar has dropped....also remember our population is only 23 million vs the population of the USA at 316 million, that's more than 14 times the Lego buyers in theory living in the USA. Though it can depend on the item or theme the pricing can be very close or even cheaper than the USA but that is very rare indeed. -
Thanks for the title......I just love hardware and tool stores almost as much I LEGO ! Oh, is there any suggestions for the hardware.....anything else to on the front or inside ? Keep watching !

Or they could put prices on a dart board and throw darts it to see what price to charge ? Like now in the USA there is a ten dollar difference between the PC and PR yet In Oz there is a 90 dollar difference go figure ! -

Sales taxes, duties, etc., all compound prices though I was once told a story that pricing is agreed on with all the major retailers with Lego....though I not sure how true that is. -
Ah, they must have shares in gas station companies......all that driving around from TRU to TRU eats up gas eh ? Anyway, don't some European countries get first wave city sets in December ?

Well, lucky you.......though neither USA or Canadian TRU websites have the sets listed.

Scooby-Doo 2015 Rumours & Discussion
lightningtiger replied to TheLazyChicken's topic in LEGO Licensed
Scooby Doo is more likely the theme due to the tie in with Cartoon Network.....Mixels, Chima, Ninjago and DC Comic SH specials.....it could be a beginning of a whole new sub-theme or series of sub-themes. I guess we'll have to wait and see.....now both Character Building and Cobi had licenses to produce SD sets......but Cobi also had the license to produce McLaren F1 sets and look what's in next years Speed Champions theme eh ?- 1,699 replies

Well in Oz, the PR goes for over 280 and the PC 199.....so it could be either or not even close. -
Gee, things have changed for me, still old red 501 MOC, but 2006 ICE train is replaced by 2014 version, add the EN and Maersk train still in my collection......I never got the 3677.

Gee, the crooks better not cross state borders......the Ultra Agents would have to get involved ! So like in the PR where there was a marriage proposal picture......then it's the case of the missing cookies......find Rodger Rabbit and you'll find them ! No seriously now, do we have any idea on price yet for the DO ? -

True, our gumshoe is on his feet spy glass in hand on the trail of a cat burglar.....maybe ? I feel that all the minifigs in the set form a story revolving around Ace Brickman P.I......just a thought ? -

That's a funny comment....more modern less Lego City-ish ? Lego City is mean't to be modern era/present era......but I do understand what you mean, though I like this a lot and it might get me back into modulars. -
Now that is one Gothic church.....wow, AWESOME work there and Brick On 'maydayartist' !
